Inevitably this leads to Akira outgrowing some clothes. One day Ryuji happens to be there while he's changing and watching him struggle to pull some pants on when Akira catches him and gives him a knowing smirk. "It's not actually the first pair." That honor goes to a pair of skinny jeans from a year or so ago, and Ryuji gets the (admittedly hot) feeling that it won't be the last either.
This may be a little bit of a sidetrack but honestly? If this is set in the canon timeline as post-game I think Ryuji (or any PT-feeder) would feel pretty proud too. p5 drops here and there bits about Akira not eating well normally, even though he seems to love eating out with friends, and then that weight loss at the end (that must be pretty dramatic if it’s one of the first comments made at his return)–it seems to be used to show how much stress he’s under. So Ryuji finds that bit of chub hot, but he’s also like. Happy that Akira’s relaxed and not so busy he doesn’t have time to eat, or so stressed that he’s losing his appetite, and Ryuji’s proud because he helped Akira relax and enjoy food again, and hell, as long as Akira doesn’t mind? Oh yeah. Far from the last pair. Ryuji’s going to do his damnedest to make sure his boyfriend never fits in those skinny jeans again.

you have a regular breakfast but once you've left the house you realise that new bakery has opened nearby, so you go to grab a couple of pastries from there too. you get lunch yourself while you're out but then your friends text you and say they're meeting up soon, if you want to come? so you swing by the restaurant they're at and before you know it, you're setting your cutlery down on an emptied plate. you warm up some leftovers for dinner, only to find your roommate had ordered enough takeout for both of you. you're alone in your room, breathing shallow, trying to ease some of the pressure of the six meals shoved into it over the course of the day, when you hear a call from the other room:
"hey, there's still that cake that my friend made, and it's gonna get stale if we don't eat it soon. do you mind...?"

Ryuji hanging out while a fat Ren is making infiltration tools and losing his ever loving mind when Ren casually asks if he'd feed him because he's hungry but reaaally needs to get these tools done by tomorrow
You say casually but like what I immediately picture is:
it’s a hot summer day. Ren had fun hanging out with Ryuji all day but now it’s 7 pm and fucking hell he told Makoto and Morgana he’d make all these infiltration tools for tomorrow but he’s been distracted because Ryuji and now he’s hungry too
They made a brief Big Bang Burger run while they were out by the arcade before going back to Leblanc so now he has all these burgers sitting in a bag right by him and Ryuji’s eyebrows might have gone up while he was making the order but whatever, Ren was (is) starving and it’s not like it’s a secret that he’s fat. Except Ryuji already finished his smaller order long ago, while Ren was slowed down trying to alternate between taking bites of his first burger and then working on his tools but he has to keep wiping the food grease off his hands so it won’t get on the tools or wipe the tool grease off his hands so it won’t get on his burger, which would be even worse, and meanwhile the burgers in the bag are getting cooler and he wants to eat them while they’re still fresh but he needs to finish the tools and he’s getting more irritable because it’s still hot and his shirt keeps rolling up his growling stomach as he shifts in his seat which he wouldn’t give a shit about if it was just him or him and Mona but like… it’s not Mona with him. It’s Ryuji. And Ryuji’s been playing one of his retro games as an excuse to hang around longer, but Ren can tell that every so often Ryuji’s looking over at him. And it’s making him self-conscious.
Except, when Ren turns a little in his chair to catch Ryuji’s expression better (having to tug his shirt down yet again), he can see that yeah, Ryuji is looking at his gut? Except he doesn’t seem disgusted. And he’s also looking at the Big Bang Burger bag. Like. Kind of anticipatory. At least until he realizes Ren is looking his way, at which point he gets flustered and makes a show of being focused on the game again.
So then Ren’s thinking about little things he’s noticed about Ryuji in a new light, things he’s noticed about Ryuji noticing him, and he wonders, and also, he’s still STARVING, so he cleans his hands again, goes back to his half-eaten burger and just. demolishes it, making sure to be noisier than usual so Ryuji knows he’s eating–smacking his lips, grunting with his mouth full, and gulping the soda to wash the burger down as loud as he can.
…Okay, yeah, Ryuji’s starting to look again. And turning red. Ren’s pretty sure now.
And that’s how Ryuji’s video game gets interrupted with “Ryuji, if you want a show, fucking feed me,” and Ryuji immediately loses a life and his ever loving mind.
(He loses his mind a little again when Ren, more tranquil now that it’s even later in the evening and cooler and he’s no longer hungry, has settled into a happy rhythm of eat burger from Ryuji’s hand, work on tool, sip soda being held by Ryuji, work on tool, get belly rubbed a little more after each whole burger as Ryuji gets a little bolder, rinse and repeat–Ren notices Ryuji’s been rubbing his belly for quite a while now, and he likes that, but, uh, where’s the next burger, Ryuji? And Ryuji is just losing his mind staring at both Ren and the empty bag that had held so many burgers like was that not enough. When Ren gets into a rhythm…)

Temptation-Akeshu feederism/weight gain fic
HOLY SHIT THIS ONE GOT WAY TOO LONG
I really wanted to do more with this, but this was getting way too long, so I’ll just have to save it for another time. I guess you could call this a prequel to the last fic?
So yeah, enjoy~

Akiren feeling desires more strongly after summoning Satanael and using sinful shell and deciding to channel that as harmlessly as possibly by glutting himself and being vain and lustful over his growing body
everyone being kind of surprised by his new chonk at the beginning of strikers and Morgana explaining for him and they decide "oh we should be supportive" and "supportive" means "we should help him get the calories he craves". (Some are definitely feeling lusful themselves. Maybe this is how he becomes team pet pig lol though with Satanael being responsible there are probably times the tone shifts. He's the pet? No, they gave him allegiance, obviously offerings come with that.)
Akiren being a little overwhelmed by the amount of food and his own amplified whims but at the same time....hell yeah he's going to town.

God him being the team's pet pig might be your best idea yet!!
I was kind of leaning toward it with one fic (which I need to go back to) but that was still 'he's with one person' and every one else is just very accepting, but like. full on polythieves where they all like some aspect of feederism and maybe even a couple others are gaining a bit too, but their main focus is on growing Akiren and it shows. Futaba helps coordinates schedules to make sure everyone gets to share time with Akiren...which also helps ensure he's getting lots of praise, belly rubs, and extra calories. His first birthday after this all starts, Futaba gets him to weigh himself at the start of the day, and breakfast and lunch are both big meals before dinner, where everyone gathers for a feast and get him a cake to eat.
They each get him a cake. On the smaller side, maybe...but with half a dozen, it's still a lot of cake. And it's all for him (okay, mostly; the others get a little hungry too, and birthday boy likes to share). Ryuji's is a little messy but simple chocolatey goodness, covered in red and yellow sprinkle stars; Yusuke's has a much more artistic flair with unusual taste (did you know sweet potato cake is a thing?). Haru also has a bit odd taste and probably gets a tall montblanc cake, while Futaba goes for a spongey cheesecake that's fluffier than even Akiren still--because you are what you eat, so once he eats it he'll be the ultimate doughboy! Ann shares her favorite bakery's strawberry shortcake, and Makoto gets him a nice big log of roll cake. After he eats it all, he's probably ready to conk out, but Futaba manages to get him curious enough about seeing how much he ate to get him up on the scale for the second time that day and see just how much heavier he is. Then birthday boy demands kisses and cuddles and tummy rubs for him to fall asleep to.

Honestly Haru plus any of the other PT plus Akira is chef kiss. Either as feeding two feedees or enabling another feeder to tag team Akira with her money and experience. Teaching them just how much he can take, what his favorite foods are, the best way to fill him up before his stomach catches up so they can stuff him to the absolute brim, etc
Offering her expertise and resources had been exactly what was on Haru’s mind when she invited Ryuji over for tea (and, all right, soda) before he and Akira were to start college. Her two fellow Phantom Thieves were going to be roommates, and she found that reassuring: Akira had lost some weight again after going back to his hometown, and from little tidbits she’d picked up (here and there, from everyone--Akira, Morgana, Ann, Ryuji, Boss, a smirking Futaba who knew entirely too much about her tastes--), Ryuji, like her, hated when Akira’s face got too thin, and she’d heard enough to be fairly confident in saying he shared her preference for an Akira who was starting to become outright chubby, though they’d only been so lucky to see that for a few weeks. Which was exactly why she thought a talk was in order. She knew, again from tidbits (Akira, Ann, and of course, a Futaba cackling over the whole situation), that Akira liked both her and Ryuji’s attentions, so she was certain that if they combined their efforts, they could make sure Akira’s weight never took one of those distressing dips again but stayed steady, or even steadily climbed up and up--which begged the question of just how far, exactly, Ryuji’s preference went, but perhaps she could coax that out of him over tea (and soda). If not, well, they could always work that out later, and Akira’s opinion was the most important in that particular regard anyway.
There was a problem, however.
Her dear friend, Ryuji Sakamoto, seemed to be completely oblivious as to his own feelings. It was especially bizarre as he was as expressive of them as ever--when she broached the subject of Akira’s current weight, Ryuji was all frowns and sighs, complaining that his hometown had to be “stressin’ the guy out”, and when she remarked about how he’d be able to help Akira as a roommate, the blond instantly brightened and talked about how he wanted to take Akira to all the ramen stands again, and Akira had been approving the one time he’d cooked for him so the guy’s socks would really be knocked off now that Ryuji had gotten his mom to show him more recipes, and yeah, it was a crying shame that Akira lost his appetite when he was stressed, because the dude loved eating--Haru should have seen him when they went to the Wilton Buffet, he got so excited it was freakin’ cute--
Ryuji had all of the dots: he cared about Akira, he hated when Akira was too skinny, he liked seeing Akira eat and be full and happy. He just...didn’t seem to be connecting them at all into his own desires, such as any awareness of feederism but also the very basic starting point that maybe he liked Akira as more than a friend.
Haru now understood why Futaba had snickered so much when certain topics came up.
(She also now very much regretted that she’d never taken Akira to the Wilton Buffet. She had always been a little afraid of an unpleasant encounter with her father’s associates there, considering he had just passed when she and Akira had started going on outings together--but ah, it had been some time now since then. Maybe she’d take him as a “welcome back” for his return to Tokyo?)
So as it turned out, she did not offer her resources to Ryuji that day, or even much of her expertise, outside of suggesting one or two restaurants Akira had loved visiting with her. Then again, she didn’t seem to need to: once Akira returned, Haru made a habit of inviting him over (not only to eat...though it was a common activity), and was rewarded by seeing his face grow rounder again, until there was the hint of a double chin. He had a habit of wearing loose shirts, so Haru couldn’t see too much of his belly, but oh, Akira crouching over to help her in the garden made her blush for it becoming very clear how chubby he was getting with Ryuji’s attentions, his shirt lifting up as he worked to reveal a budding belly and his jeans looking strained by his round rear as he moved. It did make her a little jealous, and she impulsively took him to the Wilton Buffet that night, fetching him extra sides (”I thought you might like this!”) with her own plates even though he was getting food for himself too, encouraging him until he’d eaten enough that he’d had to open his belt. He was still shoveling in the cheesecake she’d gotten for him, though, making a small mess of crumbs around his mouth as he got sloppier. The lack of manners might have peeved Haru if it wasn’t accompanied by his small, drowsy smile. He was obviously tired, but still eating, and so happy. He was so darling.
“Living with Ryuji is treating you very well, isn’t it?” Haru asked, deciding to broach the subject.
“Mm.”
“He likes watching you eat too.” She’d commented on how she liked it often enough that they were both well aware their restaurant dates weren’t fully platonic.
Akira caught her meaning here, too, his fork slowing down a bit as he thought. He picked up his napkin with his other hand to wipe his mouth. “I think so, but...”
“He’s still not quite getting it, is he?” Haru giggled when Akira groaned. In retrospect, she couldn’t blame Futaba at all for finding the situation hilarious. “Maybe he’ll realize if someone else feeds you in front of him,” she suggested, and was pleased to see Akira’s eyes light up. She didn’t want to make Ryuji too jealous--they were friends, after all, and she still thought their efforts were best combined--but maybe a little bit would make him realize that what he felt about Akira wasn’t strictly friendly.
Besides. She would always take more opportunities to feed Akira.

Ren had been looking forward to celebrating Christmas with his friends. Christmas in Japan was not an especially religious holiday in the least, but it was an excuse to have a party with his friends and eat some good food. Maybe he could try the JFC Christmas bucket he’d heard about, something that hadn’t exactly been available out in his part of the countryside and that his parents would have scoffed at even if it had been. They were very strict about diet, to the point where he thought they’d probably be horrified if they ever learned he was spending the year living over a restaurant, rather than in the Sakura residence. Going to the Wilton Buffet with Ryuji and Ann (and then other friends, later on) had been amazing after sixteen years of moderation being tirelessly preached. So had indulging in hot pot, splurging on sushi, wolfing down Big Bang Burger challenges…he’d been looking forward to Christmas cake and the JFC bucket.
And then Japan’s mental landscape had nearly imploded on itself. Somewhere between learning he and his friends were likely to be framed and arrested and fighting a false god, he’d kind of given up on the Christmas party. He’d count himself lucky just to survive.
Which meant he was somewhat bemused when he not only survived and avoided prison, but had a perfect Christmas Eve date with Ann complete with Christmas cake and was now watching Sojiro set down a JFC Christmas bucket on one of Leblanc’s booths along with food the others had brought: a charcuterie board full of cheeses provided by Haru, Ann’s tower of creampuffs, marinated seafood prepared by Makoto, some sweets Ryuji had brought.
Things really were going so perfectly. It was wild just how quickly life could change in less than 24 hours.
Sojiro raised a brow at him while opening the bucket full of hot, beautifully crispy fried chicken. “Someone looks eager,” the old man chuckled, setting two pieces on a plate before sliding it his way. “I remember you hinting about it.”
“Sojiroooo,” Futaba whined. “I hinted too!”
“Me too! I did too!” Morgana said, which was true, if only technically.
“You know I can’t understand you,” Sojiro told the not-cat in fond exasperation. “Futaba, I take it he wants some? Can he eat fried chicken?”
“I’ll eat it for him!”
“Don’t you dare! Boss, I can eat it! Let me have some!”
Makoto spoke up to quell the bickering, letting Sojiro know that Morgana could indeed safely eat fried chicken. He got the smallest piece, suitable for his small size, and everyone else got a piece too.
Just one. Ren was puzzled, a bit, that he’d gotten two, and a little flustered to think he’d been that obvious with his hinting. There was a saying about the squeaky wheel getting the grease…and the fried pieces were greasy and oh-so-delicious. A little embarrassment was not enough to keep him from wolfing down both pieces, tearing apart the crispy skin with his teeth and savoring it before going for the next bite of juicy meat. He licked his lips once he was done, and then went for one of the cream puffs in Ann’s tower. Even if they were store bought, she’d put work into arranging them, so he had to show appreciation for them. He gave a small “mm” when the flaky outside crust gave way to vanilla cream oozing into his mouth, and Ann giggled. From there it was onto a few forkfuls of the marinated seafood, Makoto smiling as he thanked her for bringing it, and some of Haru’s cheese: just like Ryuji had said, it was stinky, but very delicious. He took a swig of the orange drink Futaba had brought to help everyone wash the food down, and then popped open the black box Ryuji had brought.
They were miniature cupcakes, frosted with a snowflake pattern. Ren picked one up and smirked at Ryuji. “Aww, cute.”
“Ahh, shaddup and just eat ‘em,” Ryuji grumbled, so Ren popped the one he was holding into his mouth. The frosting was sweet, but not too sweet. It was good. All the food here was. He wouldn’t say no to more of it.
Ann took another cream puff from her slowly shrinking tower and held it up to his mouth as he was finishing chewing. “Ahhh!” she said.
Did she want to…feed him? She’d been a bit bold on their date last night, but Ren hadn’t expected something like this in front of the others. Now he felt a bit embarrassed. Still, he didn’t exactly want to refuse. “Ahh,” Ren mimicked, and she popped the cream puff into his mouth. The cream seemed warmer this time, but that might have just been his face heating up. As he chewed, Makoto took his plate and filled it again with more of her marinated seafood, Haru’s cheese, and what must have been the last two pieces from the JFC bucket.
“Well, that wasn’t bad at all, but I’m heading home for the night,” Sojiro said. “You kids have fun.” He slipped on his jacket and headed out.
Makoto placed the plate back in front of Ren. Now he was sure his face was red. Everything was good, but he’d already had his fair share. Why was he just…being given more like this? “Did anyone else want more chicken?” he asked. “Yusuke?”
“Ah, I’m filling up on drink and some of the seafood,” the artist responded. “Please, Ren. Indulge. Now that your appetite’s been whetted, you should satisfy it.”
…Yusuke said a lot of weird things, but this was definitely up there. Ren stared at him, waiting for someone else to point out the strangeness, but the awkward stretch of silence only made Ann frown.
“Was anything bad, Ren? You usually love to eat.”
“No, nothing’s bad, but it’s–” He gave up for the moment. He did have room for more food, and he didn’t want to be rude, even if he was still bewildered by being given extra food without him even asking. He took a few bites of one chicken piece, and then a forkful of seafood, and three bites of the cheese.
Ann popped another cream puff into his mouth the second it was empty, and he mmphed in surprise as the cream leaked into his mouth. “Hey, let him have more of mine too!” Ryuji said. He picked up another miniature cupcake and brought it to Ren’s lips as he was still chewing, prompting him to open up again. The two sweets mixed wonderfully in his mouth, cream and frosting and pastry and cake melding together as he chewed and chewed before finally swallowing. Ann grinned and patted his belly, making Ren blush harder in the face, though thankfully the table hid both her hand and his belly from the others.
…His belly? Ren briefly glanced down at himself and puffed his gut out, just barely able to make out the small but flabby tummy under his shirt. Then he sucked it back in. That was…strange. He guessed he could have put on some weight, but he definitely didn’t remember doing so.
“More, Ren?”

“More, Ren?”
The question drew Ren’s attention away from his slight flabbiness. Haru was ready to top off his still half-full plate with a serving spoon full of corn glistening with butter. Ren frowned.
“Where’d we get that?”
“From JFC, of course!” Futaba said, pointing at the bag the food had been delivered in. “You didn’t know we had it, huh? That explains why you didn’t take any.”
He…could have sworn the bag had only had the bucket of chicken in it when Sojiro had held it up before. Had Sojiro already taken it out then? Corn did sound good–a vegetable to balance out all the meat and cheese and sweets. “Sure, I’ll have some,” he said, and worked on savoring his plate as the others started to chatter. In between bites of fried chicken and cheese, the buttered corn slid easily down his throat, filling his belly further, and the marinated seafood was an interesting change in flavor. The variety made it easy for him to clear his plate a second time, or maybe it was the second-and-half time. It was a good amount of food–he’d eaten more on occasion, especially at Big Bang Burger challenges, but he felt satiated, ready to slow down on the food and just enjoy the conversation, until two unassuming containers with the JFC logo caught his eye.
“…Have those been there the entire time?” he questioned, pointing to the counter.
Ryuji followed his finger and burst out laughing. “Dude! You missed them? No wonder they’ve survived this long.” Without Ren even saying anything further, Ryuji took his plate for him and gave him two biscuits and heaping scoops of mashed potatoes with gravy. Ryuji slid the plate back, then snagged a biscuit from the box for himself before offering Yusuke his own pick.
That the others were still eating too made Ren feel better about continuing to eat, and he tried to surreptitiously glance around the table for the corn. Makoto caught him, but she only smiled as she slid the container over–along with the seafood. Knowing her, it probably wasn’t a “nudge”, she just hadn’t been sure which one he’d wanted passed over, but Ren took more of the seafood just in case. He didn’t want to offend her. And it was tasty.
He was starting to feel very, very heavy, though. Since it wasn’t a challenge, the food had had time to settle down in his belly; by the time he finished plate three-and-a-half, he felt sleepy. He tried to follow along with everyone else’s conversation for a while, but he gradually grew sleepy, leaning more against Ann. She let him, both cooing and giggling at his drowsy state before gently running her fingers through his messy hair. Her long fingernails just barely scraped his scalp in a movement that threatened to put him to sleep even faster.
“Are you full?” she asked. “I’m a little surprised. Usually you eat more than that.”
Did he? She must be talking about celebrations only; he didn’t eat so much as an everyday thing. But he was still glad to hear her say that. He’d definitely overindulged, but she didn’t sound displeased by it at all. Of course she wasn’t. She was used to it.
Ren woke up a little more as the celebration wound down, though he was still tired as he went up the stairs. Definitely still full. Ann had topped him off with a few more cream puffs while he dozed against her, never making him eat them, just…holding them up to his lips and letting his greedy mouth do the rest. He wasn’t sure how many he’d eaten, but he could still taste the cream. It was a relief when he unbuttoned his pants to change into looser pajama bottoms and curl up in bed with Morgana. He felt so fat. He’d definitely ate a lot.
No one had seemed to mind, though.
Did he usually eat more…? Ren idly licked his lips once before falling asleep, still tasting cream. Wondering what the New Year’s Eve party might be like. There’d definitely be food.
When he woke up and rolled to the side of his bed, his belly rolled out over the hem of his sleep pants, and he frowned as he looked down at it, pinching the lower roll as it bisected into two. The warm flesh felt good, but also…foreign, like it didn’t belong there. Like he was bigger than he should be.
“Ren? What are you doing?”
Morgana cocked his head, and Ren realized the absurdity of his thoughts. ‘Bigger than he should be?’ Of course he was chunky. He lived above a restaurant and loved to eat. He was smaller than he should be by all rights. He shook his head, looking for his pants. They were just right for his size–what an American might generously call ‘husky’, though his parents would certainly deride as ‘fat’. “I’m still waking up, I guess. C’mon, let’s go get breakfast.”

Okay but same?? Like there have been so many things in Strikers that have my Feedee Joker brain going brrrrrrrr
oh yeah it’s hilarious. Like this is the most minor of spoilers for gameplay (nothing storywise) but it just makes sense when you’re exploring an area for the first time to buy all the recipes then so you don’t forget. Which in Strikers means eating the dish created by that recipe. Which translates to Joker eating at one restaurant and then wandering down half a block and eating at a second one. It’s a bonus that other teammates eat with him, which, since it changes up who eats with him, can be spun as him sneakily eating multiple times without them realizing or some/all totally knowing and being okay with it, depending on how you wanna spin it. Do you want someone innocently encouraging him to have seconds, not realizing it’d actually be fourths for him? Do you want someone to be a feeder and know full well it’d be fourths and insist he has seconds, since he enjoyed it so much?
And, well, if he is going to be recreating it for everyone later, he needs to make sure he has the taste right! Besides, no one trusts a skinny chef.
(Also him being the chef. so both feeder joker and feedee joker brains can be happy)

if you recognize where this is from and how old it is, no you don’t, I’m embarrassed enough about it being unfinished. but I thought the anon who enjoyed rereading the p5 fic might be interested in this.
Haru had seemed amused as they left the monjayaki restaurant. "I hadn’t expected you to to have such a healthy appetite. You’re so skinny.“
Ren shrugged. "I don’t always get to eat as much as I want.”
“Hmmm. I’ll have to make sure you eat more,” Haru said, and looked puzzled when Ren gave a rare laugh out loud. "Is that strange?“
"It’s not. Just. Ryuji said the same thing once.” Ren looked down at himself. "I’m not that skinny, am I?“ He weighed a healthy 62 kilograms, last Takemi weighed him. It was on the lower end of ‘healthy’, yeah, but he actually had a kilogram on Ryuji, a healthy runner in re-training. He’d worry more about Yusuke.
"You look good,” Haru reassured him. "I simply like to spoil my friends.“ Her eyebrows knit as they continued walking. She looked like she was thinking about something, so Ren let silence fall over them, occasionally glancing at her to make sure she didn’t look bothered or anything like that. "Um…Ren. Why…do you think Ryuji said that?”

Just thought I’d share this canonical stuffing sequence from Persona 5 Strikers that I *really* wish was voiced but nonetheless has literally everything you could ask for in pre-post stuffing scenes.
(Good stuff below)

I wish I was a better writer. I'd love to write a stuffing fic that focuses on a post game Aki.ra and him coming to terms with his own appetite. A healing kind of fic, you know? I've always hc'd that he has a large appetite, but holds back to be polite / not a bother due to things people have said to him before. He eats out so often with friends and seems to enjoy going all around Tokyo to try new meals, but there's so much commentary in the game about how despite all this, he still doesn't eat properly. From Mor.gana... his actions in Leblanc... And Especially when it comes to post-December. The game even tells you he lost a ton of weight, to the point that it's the first thing the thieves notice. I'd imagine after coming back from jail he'd have a much harder time than before too; probably going so far as to pass up curry in the mornings because he just can't bring himself to.
It'd be sweet to see the thieves band together to try and encourage him and help him get back into old habits. Ryu.ji and Ha.ru probably being *especially* encouraging haha. But yeah, people suggesting to go out to eat for hangouts-- like A.nn raving about a new crepe he has to try, or Ryu.ji dragging him off to a ramen place for a breather-- always pointing him towards seconds if he's up for it. Maybe even specifically picking places they know Aki.ra would enjoy, or at least used to enjoy. Aki.ra probably has no qualms with it when it's someone else wanting to go (And how can he deny seconds when Ryu.ji is so excited for him to try this new flavour like that,) but he won't ever suggest places himself.
They probably take it as a huge W when one day he does ask to go out though. Externally they're all normal about it of course, but there's a huge unspoken sigh of relief. As the months of this go on, it gets more natural for him to take seconds (And even thirds,) without their goading, and he's definitely begun to put on some weight. (Probably by the end of it, more than he started out with. His casual shirts fit far more snugly, but he's too happy making memories and excitedly indulging himself for once with his friends to care.)
He's smart enough to catch on to what they're doing, but I think Aki.ra would be pretty touched by the fact that they're all making a conjoined effort as opposed to upset or anything. It'd probably be a bit embarrassing to learn how they've doted on him (And how he totally fell for it without noticing in those first couple weeks?) but yeah, ultimately he's glad for it. It's hard to stay mopey and away from food when you've got people like Ha.ru offering premium shit. (Aki.ra's a chronic anti-waster and you KNOW she'd take advantage of that. He'd be wolfing down 'leftovers' until bursting with her.)
Ah, I just realized this post doesn't have a lot of stuffing, oops. I'll admit I'm mostly focused on the healing aspect of it, but once Aki.ra realizes the others are accepting (and some even into,) his appetite he'd definitely try to push his limits out of curiosity. Sure, he could put it back no problem when he was younger, but he's grown a lot now and so did his hunger, probably. If he can take down the cosmic tower burger down with ease (Hell, even two of them back to back? I'm still reeling from that bit in one of the mangas where he eats two for Yus.uke. He doesn't even get sick from it. He doesn't even FEEL sick from it.) then just what else can he do...?
whoops. this got long. sorry for clogging up the dash i just needed to get my thoughts out. ✌️ eating and wg as a form of healing is everything to me. Aki.ra, the one who never asks for anything and never takes more than he needs, finally getting the chance to just go all out and enjoy himself is everything to me. Does he not deserve it. Take him back to the Wilton buffet you monsters,

Always hate coming into a fandom late... I've probably missed out on so much good Aki.ra stuffing content that I'll never get to see...

I'm replaying P5.R and I really love how many chances Aki.ra gets to eat and eat well, especially after the line at the wilton buffet that makes it seem like normally Aki.ra doesn't. It doesn't seem like he's used to city food/ the variety of it all and is enthusiastic about it, which is super cute. (Ry.uji seems to think so too during the buffet scene??) Like A.nn describes crepes that she's getting and one of the dialogue prompts is admitting that just the thought of it is making his belt burst. There's also after the hot pot scene where if you interact with your desk or the training chair, you can't actually do anything because you're "too full" and "bloated". I feel like Aki.ra's very open to trying all the new things the city has to offer, but quickly gets a little in over his head like with the big bang burger challenge. Poor guy probably stuffs himself silly trying to dine at all the reccomended places to him. And that's just the restaurants... lots of npcs around him mention other types of food and snacks you can take home that Morg.ana urges you to get. Honestly I kinda wanna make a compilation of all the stuffing scenes with him in P5 because there's a surprising amount? Like how he devours an entire steak at the diner as a snack. Who does that Aki.ra you gluttonous goof.
#pudgesona#i always forget if that's the right tag...#anyway#embarrassed to post it but i cant stop thinking about it after playing today#like how utterly stuffed he gets in the hangout at bbb#by the time october rolls around his appetite has increased tenfold i guarantee it

I love how much canon stuffing fodder there is for the p.5 protag. in the games:
Actual buffet scene where he complains his belt feels two sizes too small -After devouring a massive bowl of ramen says his belt feels like it's going to straight up burst but can ask for seconds -In Str.ikers he is nigh constantly cooking and going out to eat at places -Big bang burger challenge, obvi. -So many dialogue options the pertains to him being hungry or wanting to eat.
in the manga: -Yu.suke convinces him to take the high tier challenge BBB twice in a row and HE ACTUALLY DOES IT? Doesn't even get sick at the end -Everyone tries making curry for Boss but no matter how many times they make plates none taste right. I can't fully remember the scene but he either eats himself into a coma or continues going far longer than everyone else who'd tapped out by that point. -Does the BBB challenge with Ake.chi but then gets dragged for ramen with Ryu.ji afterwards.
I swear there's more I just can't remember it RIP.
