Noodle grinned up at the goblin, showing off a missing tooth. She was in a lot of pain, blood trickling from her nose, but she refused to let it show. Showing pain made you weak is what she was taught. Besides, this guy was nice and she didn’t want to scare him!
“Nah. You’re too nice for that.” She said, a little more weakly than she would have preferred. “Where am I, anyway?”

His name was Muddy and I miss him. Plus, if I can’t care for them, I can just give them away to people who can!!” She says, bobbing her head up and down to affirm her point to herself.
