I cannot stress this enough- Build a routine. Build Habits. Wake up every day and get used to being productive, one day at a time. Do this for long enough and eventually you’ll be at your goal without even realising it.

A friendly reminder that drawings are not created from nothing and don’t suddenly appear out of nowhere just to make your blog look pretty. When you look at someone’s art, you’re looking at time and hard work. You’re also looking at years of practice—sometimes a few years if they’re just beginning, sometimes decades. But there’s always effort put into any drawing, and with fan art, that effort is voluntary.

So remember to be kind and appreciative of your favorite fan artists! It can be scary to put your work out there, and they don’t have to do it. <3
