Help

I’m so tired of looking ‘normal’ I really want to dress differently and I love the alternative scene

I love all sorts of different asthetics but I’m never motivated to change my appearance plus the parents ugh

Everyone looks so cool and mature on instagram and it make me feel a bit worthless in a way I want to be like them so fucking bad

How to survive the first day of school:

Prepare everything the day before so you don’t have to rush in the morning.

Before going to bed do some breathing exercises.

NOTHING BAD IS GOING TO HAPPEN TO YOU AT THAT SCHOOL

The next morning just go through your normal everyday routine and don’t think about ANYTHING

As your on the way to that shithole the overwhelming feeling will start to set in keep CALM your OKAY

I know this sounds stupid but my therapist taught me this technique that works: when you start to feel scared/ anxious sing this in your head:”I’m so excited I’m going to school” it’s nonsense but the technique changes fear into excitement

People will look at you for 2 reasons;

1- they are curious

2-to check if you are a threat-sounds stupid but it’s true

You look at others too! It’s natural

Don’t look people straight in the eyes look in between their brows they won’t know that your not look at them directly it’ll feel weird at first but it’s completely NORMAL

As for all the “what if’s?” FORGET THEM whats the worst that could happen? If you have a panic attack that’s ok it nothing to feel ashamed or embarrassed about

School is a shithole we would all love to leave but sadly its the law ugh

We all have to play by the rules sometimes

You are AWESOME! Go there and own it forget about everything and everyone else you do you

Go get that education for yourself no one can take that away from you

If day one doesn’t go well pick yourself up and try again

Tomorrow is a new day, a new chance

Depression

Depression is when you want to do things but having no motivation it’s wanting to die every damn day, it’s wanting to kill yourself, it’s fee empty,it’s feeling worthless,it’s feeling pathetic nothing has a point anymore there’s no point putting effort into anything no interest, no hobbies, no friends, all cried out laying in bed with the curtains drawn shut wanting to block the world out thinking of drowning,there’s no point waking up everyday to do the same fucking routine everything sucks I know bc I have depression I’m on 10mg of fluoxetine the lowest does that pill makes everything just that little bit better but the feeling doesn’t go away fuck life my life is so full of shit yes I know there’s bigger problems in the world and I’m just some bitch whining about life bc I’m a teen no one takes teens seriously and I’m just a girl talking about depression so what?
