things I love about cinderella's castle because we stopped talking about it way to soon:

the lighting. holy shit. I know nothing about the field but jesus christ I remember being blown away during cursed crazy, and the ethereal effect when the fairy queen of sweet dreams shows up when seen live? fucking transcendent.

the ✨songs✨ some I like more than others but they go hard

I saw people complaining about this, but the puppeteers being in costumes similar to the puppets, not to mention their occasional reaction to the story as outside observers? I love it.

choreography: as a npmd lover I may be biased but everything lauren lopez touches is gold. the parallels between last forever and facade. the townsfolk during cursed crazy. all of ash to ash. neon. phenomenal.

bryce charles as ella ashmore. enough said

dark fairytale retelling. right up my alley. not to mention the potential setup for more stories in the lands that are.

no confirmed romance. very rare in a cinderella story

on that note though- the dynamic between ella and tadius is amazing regardless of how you interpret it

odysseus absolutely does present a threat to penelope if he perceives her as at all unfaithful, and i feel the unfairness of this, and i think people tend to undersell how much tension at least potentially exists between odysseus and penelope. but i'm also like. his reaction, all speculation aside, his actual reaction in the odyssey to her flirting with the suitors is delight, because he immediately ascertains that she is running a con. sorry that they're so in-sync in spite of the forces that try to drive a wedge between them, including their own misgiving hearts. sorry that they invented homophrosyne ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

i will forever be petty that nmt isn't as well known as the rest of the hatchetfield series.

like it adds SO MUCH to the characters and explains so much about them. we learn a lot of the "why's" regarding aspects of them. we learn why ted is so sleazy in time bastard, why linda wnats to be adored in honey queen, and why bill and alice have such a strained relationship in watcher world. AND SO MUCH MORE.

i just feel like it adds so much to these already lovable characters and everyone should pay attention to it.
