v: On The Other Side

In an attempt to save Melinda, Chris made a deal with a few darker families, in order to help them free their scion of their families, they would do something for him.    Mels was given a mark that would allow her to cross time and space to somewhere safe and was sent in a portal.     She was 11 years old and it was two weeks before Chris went to the past.

Melinda took on the name of Charlotte Warren, in case the Halliwells lived here and her mark would prevent her from fading when the time was changed.

She had only Sir Gawain, Emrys, and Sir Lancelot (her plushies) as company when she arrived.

v: Gods and Monsters

Melinda was born Psyche’s reincarnation, but has no idea. Instead, she believes she is simply as she’s always been.    She is head over heels in love with her Cupid, @halfmanticorebrothers​ Kieran.    Naturally, she’s an absolute idiot when it comes to him.   More times than not they’re pulled in two different directions.   So naturally fate has put her foot down because no one is helping to make sure love continues on–if the God of Love and Goddess of the Soul don’t come together soon, it may be the end of everything.

Melinda Halliwell never had active powers that are granted to the Warren line, she can cast spells, scry, make potions, and has that awesome ability to not die if she takes a hit from a demon but that was never her path.    Her path was that of a Vampire Slayer.

When Buffy put Faith into a coma, she was legally dead.     Her brain and heart stopped briefly before the Doctors stabilized Faith.   When the Council came aknocking they didn’t find a girl with no knowledge of what she was, in fact she was well versed and not the kind to be cowed, she had a support system.    So an agreement had to be made with both Melinda and her family otherwise they had enough connections in the magical community absolutely destroy the Council and any power they had.

Melinda has grown up as a Slayer, thanks to her own Father when the Watcher assigned started to drug her with thing to keep her under Slayer abilities gone until she passed the test, it was Leo who explained what was going on.   Melinda started lessons with her Dad to use a sword, prepared her for the eventual fight she was going to end up in and it was Wyatt that was on standby to heal Melinda up.    When they tried to use Peter, her fraternal twin, they thought he had no powers–he has Cryokinesis, basically Elsa. 

Melinda survived and was patched up and her Watcher became her ex-Watcher because the Council broke the agreement with their test and not warning them about it beforehand.

Melinda still is a Vampire Slayer, she just does her own thing in San Francisco that isn’t lacking in that department.    Melinda occassionally seeks out a guide for help her if there’s a monster of the week that needs fighting.

RPs can be set between BtVS Season 4 (Melinda is 16) to beyond ANGEL Season 5 (Melinda is 20+).

v: Twice Damned

Melinda was never supposed to walk the path in the sun, no matter how hard she tried.   Her fate laid in the Underworld, fight Elderitch Abominations that would devour the world.    The Underworld knew when the Halliwells defeated the Source the last time that the clock was counting down.   However when it was revealed of Melinda’s own prophecy, she was saved from being murdered by a Dark Sorceress, An Oracle, and a Darklighter.      She eventually has to make a decision will she fulfill her destiny or deny it and doom the heavens, the mortal plane and the underworld with it.

Note: This verse does not copy @charmedbitches​ ‘s Mariwen’s Twice Cursed verse, this is completely different.    Melinda’s fate is not ruling or destroying anything but the monsters that The Source kept at bay, without a Source of Evil, now everything is in danger.

v: Street level Resistance

Melinda unwilling to simply let things slide teams up with the heroes of the street: Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist to form a street-level resistance. They with others challenge Wyatt’s control in major cities. They using their unique abilities and Melinda using her own powers to protect the innocent and vulnerable including establishing a sanctuary for people that Wyatt and his minions can’t detect.

v: The Doctor Is In

Melinda was recruited by S.H.I.E.L.D. after files were leaked, and serves as a medical specialist. She’s called in when the real bad cases involving magic and demons. She has had to do quite a few healings where they took a fireball to the chest or have been cursed. With the future looming, her job as a specialist may end up with having to work with The Avengers as well.

So okay yes trying again, getting everything together, doing revamps for melinda like her bio among other things but making plans to continue rps that are long overdue.
