Possessing a defined hairless body and ideal proportions, Jess was a delight to photograph, as we used a large floor mirror to create a stunning collection of emotive, sensitive images.

Beyond Skin | 心 • 目 is a collection of 51 photographs by artist and photographer Norm Yip as selected by James Tong, curator and sponsor to the show that first previewed in River City Bangkok and most recently in New York City during Gay and World Pride. All photographs shown in the publication are for sale as signed limited prints.

My exhibition Beyond Skin is still on at River City Bangkok for several more weeks. This is a smaller version of the original show. Come down if you’re around.

So this is what one of my paintings look like when printed on chiffon. My friend Cherry is going to make a dress from this. I’m looking forward to the outcome!

The joy of seeing these prints emerge and revealing themselves from the printer is so satisfying. Sure it’s not quite the same as traditional printing, but close. In order of appearance: Oscar, John, and finally Jyb.

Kaizer's Gallery is now open to the public. He said that after seeing these photographs, he is now even more determined to get into better shape, but I personally don't feel the necessity. There is something that is very real about this type of physique, that isn't artificially glossed over and measured by the inch and % of body fat.
