Dearest Gentle Reader,

It is not often that the servants of the ton receive their most deserved rest and diversion outside of the yearly servants ball. Even rarer, and possibly unheard of, is the occasion when they are given the spotlight of a soiree.

Her Majesty the Queen was so taken by the delicacies prepared by American chef Carmen Berzatto that a ball was arranged in his honor. Much was speculated about the purpose of the evening. Perhaps Her Majesty intended to flaunt her impeccable taste and announce her patronage before Mr Berzatto reaches international renown? Was he to be given some honorary title, even with the impediment of him not actually being a subject of the Crown?

This Author believes the actual intent falls in line with Her Majesty's penchant for matchmaking instead.

No one missed the fact that Mr Berzatto avoided the dancefloor altogether until the very last dance, when he was joined by fellow chef and favourite of The Queen, Miss Sydney Adamu. Those in assistance noted how taken Mr Berzatto seemed with her beauty and frank conversation. The ball ended shortly after the introduction was made but one is left to wonder...

Oftentimes only a taste is needed to decide whether one dish is to our liking. Maybe one dance is enough to alight a spark between two kindred spirits? Perhaps one can do without music altogether and let food be all that nourishes love. This Author certainly hopes so, there is nothing quite so satisfying as witnessing a love match that is also a marriage of the minds.

One thing I wanna do more is include Battinson's complete lack of filter.

That scene at the funeral where Falcone tried to push that 'your father saved me for a reason' fantasy, which Bruce ended very quickly with his '' He took the Hippocratic oath" line

It can sure read as snarky, and in some parts, it was, -- Falcone's antourage surely saw it as that, -- but Bruce was completely serious.

It wasn't a diplomatic move on his part, but that's why it works. 'No filter' doesn't generally entail being rude and bold, it's your thoughts being faster than your mouth without considering how it'd sound out loud

Not to mention, Bruce wouldn't process sarcasm the same as everyone else. He's good at dishing it, for sure, but we've seen he's completely oblivious to obvious social ques,

If somebody were to be like, " haha maybe YOU'RE batman" him, the go to reaction would be " haha good one"

Bruce? Would start shaking on the spot. It's raining nerves out here. " No I'm not." With a blank face, " I'm not. I'm scared of bats. I hate bats. I wish bats never existed. I wish YOU never existed. Im sorry. Goodbye." Before taking off in a hurry.

Seeing Fallout around again made me nostalgic for the old F:NV AU of my guys, so I put together some refs for them to play in Artfight. <:)

Just two weird guys hanging out in the wasteland, up to no good -- some more 'no good' than others. Seeing a strange little mole-man looking guy in a full tuxedo wandering the wasteland might give you creeping, weird vibes. Listen to those vibes. Avoid him. Don't get eaten. (Granted, he mostly targets raiders and other won't-be-mourneds for his carnivorous compulsions, but still... get on his bad side and I'm sure he can find an excuse.)

For the other one, he's mostly harmless in that any potential harm that could happen will be redirected at his face. Jack has a real nose for tracking down trouble, even though he doesn't have much of a nose left anymore. (These things may be connected.) It's doubly unfortunate that makes him look like a ghoul, even though he's not a ghoul. Really.
