I was kinda bored again today so I drew @sk3tchyskull-blog 's version of Peter Sam from @enginescomic .

His hair kinda got destroyed...

So I did this and fixed it.

I used a little piece of white paper, painted it and then I used tape.

Also I added extras...

I used UV light pen for:

His hair highlight (the white hair)

something that haunts me: in ttte, the engines explicitly rely on their crews/humans in general for things like coupling up.

in tugs, we never actually see any humans, but the tugs regularly throw each other lines, tie themselves to the dock to sleep and (in one case) throw a tarp over a buoy to silence him.. all without any visible means of doing so.

and also they’re apparently getting paid (the trampers are supposed to pay to be towed and zorran apparently once threatened zip’s paycheck in one episode), and all i can imagine is the tugs discussing money and thomas is just like

in the “pirate but things go wrong” au, ten cents definitely feels a lot of guilt for letting zip and zug unwittingly act as bait for the pirates, therefore “allowing zip to get sunk”. it wasn’t entirely his fault, he couldn’t have predicted that the pirates would sink witnesses instead of just chasing them off, but he still feels awful about the whole situation.

what doesn’t help is that zug’s decided to (mostly) blame him for zip’s sinking. partially because he genuinely is upset that ten cents let him act as pirate bait, but mostly because ten cents happens to be a convenient means of deflection when it comes to the question of how much responsibility he held in that situation.
