Art on the Runway
Fashion has always been a direct derivative of the world around it. Designers take inspiration from art, culture, music, and history in ways that are both subtle and extremely obvious. Currently the runways are exhibiting looks suited for Fall 2017.
As a leader in not only Fashion, but art, and culture, New York City exhibited designs fit for the creative soul. Alice and Olivia showcased a collection inspired by The Italian Renaissance, Ralph Lauren was inspired by Van Goghs Water Lillies, and Delpozo stuck true to its Absract influences through its pop colors and unique silhouettes.
