Tenmiko is so cool in ways that I think are underappreciated because like.. Whenever its portrayed its like haha simp vs girl that doesn’t care abt her and like yes,, at the first chapter or so that’s true lol im not gonna try and say it wasn’t cos it was. Tenko was overbearing and way too protective in the first two chapters!! 100%,, but that was where the room for development came from too!!!!! None of the characters in the first chapters were great people imo and that was where the development was meant to be born from. But. Like. Okay. moving from that,, the dynamic and progression is just.. really good man..

as much as himiko was pretty blunt with her responses and feelings at first, tenko was one of the only people there who was actually excited / eager to see her magic and was always very interested in the things she had to say whilst everyone else in the game brushed her off as the dumb “its magicccc” girl when it came to talking about her interests and talent. tenko was always supportive of himikos talent and passion and would listen to her when nobody else would take her or basically her career seriously. 

 and i’d also like to note that when people go off on the “its one sided” thing, they forget that their canon interactions are pre himikos character development. ppl like to point the fact that himiko seemed disinterested/distant in their conversations without mentioning the fact that himiko was like that with?? everybody?? at the start?? thats the entire thing dude !! her character at the start of the game was that she was a distant and uninterested person !! the third trial was her losing the only people that cared what she said. angie and tenko. that was where she grew as a person and learnt to appreciate her friends while they were still there to support her. himiko was devastated when tenko died because she was the only person who wanted to listen to her or protect her and now she didnt ever get to thank her or do the same in return.

obviously they aren’t canon,, and ofc you can ship whatever you want [[within reason i dont fw prosh//ppers]],, but like man do people like to bash this one. and like nobodys making u like,, its so interesting to think about and the dynamic and storytelling is very interesting and i dont think that people appreciate the deeper aspects of it very much / make it completely one sided

i just had to draw murasa's cool new look from gouyoku ibun!!

the coat is so cool and the gloves are so cool and she even has a loop in her belt for the ladle?!?! i'm going nuts she has so much swag. the boots are cool too though unfortunately i didn't fit that in my drawing :'(

This is just my personal hc for Tenmiko that since Himiko was completely uninterested at the beginning, once they’re actually together, Tenko really wants to make sure she’s ok with it. I just love their potential for growth into a healthy relationship,,,

sidenote, kirumi’s role was chosen on the fact that maid -> serves, paladin -> serve and protect, i thought it would fit her well
