Gingerpliot gingerpilot gingerpilot gingerpilot Hux was captured gingerpilot gingerpilot!
"Alright, enough." Poe stood up when Huc shivered again and coughed up blood. "We will take a break. Finn a word."
When they left, Poe grabbed one of the guards.
"Fetch Kalonia. Tell her to patch him up and give him painkillers." He glared at Finn, who only rolled his eyes.
"Poe."
"I can't believe you let them do this. I can't believe you did it, Finn. We should be better than that."
"Poe. We need that intel. We are saving thousands of lives. Can't you see that? What do you expect that I will bring him tea and ask nicely, and he will be so taken by it that he will share every secret?"
"Have you tried?"
"What? Poe, this is absurd…"
"Have you tried asking? Or you just started with beating him up to take revenge?"
Finn pressed his lips tightly.
"Poe. He would tell us nothing, and now he is talking."
"You tortured him."
"I did what I had to do to get the information, Poe. Do you think he would show you the same courtesy as you want to?"
"No, of course not. But I don't care. We should be better than that."
"Sometimes we need results, not morals, Poe."
"Get out of my sight, Finn."
Poe took a deep breath and rubbed his face when Finn left. Hux was treated, but Poe had to pull a rank on Kalonia for her to give Hux painkillers. When she left, Poe kicked an empty chair, irritated. Hux flinched, looking at him.
"Fuck. Sorry." Poe murmured. "Well, get up, Hux, I will take you to your apartment." Poe smirked, "I hope your stay will be more enjoyable from now on."
Hux snorted, but he let himself be led by the pilot.
"You would rather beg, wouldn't you?" Hux said. Poe looked at him, surprised. "Walls are thin."
"Ah." Poe sighed, "Yes. I am not above it. Yes, I would rather beg than torture a defenceless prisoner."
Hux only hummed in response. Poe glanced at him and decided it was probably his best shot.
"Would it work?" He sent Hux a charming smile.
"What Dameron…?" Hux seemed amused, and Poe took it for a good sign.
"Begging." They stopped before Hux's cell. "Would it work on you?"
Hux snorted. Oh, he was smiling.
"What about that tea, General Dameron?… I drink tarine. No sugar. See what you can do about it, and maybe I will remind myself of some details that you are interested in?"
"Wait. Really?"
"Yes. But you will have to ask nicely."
"Pretty please will be sufficient?"
"You will have to find out." Hux entered his cell. Poe bolted out of the building. He found the last packet of tarine after two hours and grabbed his food rations. Hux frowned when Poe entered the cell in the evening, but he smiled, amused when Poe placed tarine, food, and cigarettes on the table.
"Your help would be very appreciated, Hux. Please."
Hux raised his eyebrow, and Dameron snorted.
"Pretty please?"
Hux grabbed a cup and took a sip of the tea.
"I want a full pardon."
"I-i can't decide about that." Poe should have known that tarine won't be enough. Hux nodded.
"No… I suppose you can't. I want your support then. "
"And what exactly do you mean by that?"
"If there will be a trial. Or I will be court-martialled, or you will in whatever way decide about my faith, you will protect me and speak in my favour, and you will refrain from speaking anything against me." Poe fell silent, and Hux continued. "And for that, I will tell you everything you want to know about First Order ships, weapons, and high command. Everything I know."
Dameron nodded slowly, grabbing a pack of cigarettes.
"Should have known tea and pretty please won't be enough."
Hux smiled, amused.
"No offence, Dameron. You are pretty but not that pretty." Poe snorted.
"Am I? Reconsider? I've heard I look exceptional on my knees."
This time, Hux snorted, taking one cigarette.
"Above violence but not above trading sexual favours for information? I am not interested."
Dameron sighed.
"Everything you know."
"Indeed."
"Lie to me only once, Hux. And I will let Finn finish the job."
"You are learning, General." Hux smiled, amused, and Poe felt sick. They had a deal.
They spent the night talking, and with every word Poe knew it was worth it. It could save people, it could save planets. When he powered off his datapad, he smiled brightly. He was tired, exhausted really, but he finally saw hope.
"Thank you. You should be proud of this, Hux."
Hux frowned.
"Betraying the cause I fought for my whole life and betraying my crew just because of a few bruises, broken ribs, and for a moment of comfort, is not something I should be proud of, Dameron."
"You should be proud. Because this will save lives. Theirs, ours, and tons of others. I have to catch some sleep, you too." Poe stood up. "See you today." He smiled, but stopped before he left. "Hux… If I move you to more livable quarters, will you try to harm someone and escape?" He turned around.
Hux was looking at him in silence for a brief moment.
"Yes," he answered finally.
Poe nodded.
"Well. Thanks for honesty. Hey, is Hux your name? It's not, isn't it?"
Hux leaned his back against the wall.
"It's Armitage."
"Thank you, Armitage. You helped me a lot today."
Hux snorted.
"Not above begging, not above sexual favours, not above threats, and not above a little bit of manipulation. You are full of surprises, General Dameron."
Poe smiled, god, he was exhausted.
"I don't know what you mean."
"Oh, I am sure you don't. Bring me more tarine."
Poe gave him a mocking salute and left. Hux shook his head, amused.
This man was something else.

Ah I might be in a prux mood now...
Aftermath of being stranded. Sprinkled with angst, hurt/comfort and hypothermia. It came out quite... Hopefull.
Hux stood in the door to Pryde's med bay room. Allegiant General was not sleeping. He was looking through something on his datapad. Hux envied that, he couldn't work. He tried but looking through reports made him sick. Pryde glanced at him surprised but stayed silent. Hux swallowed, slowly came closer and sat down on Pryde's bed, not looking at him but at the wall ahead.
"Hux?"
Hux closed his eyes trying to decide if he finally went mad. He could. After the week on this goddamn planet it was possible that his sanity left him along with his pride and dignity and self-preservation instinct. He glanced at Pryde from the corner of his eyes and sighed digging into his wrist with fingers. Nails almost piercing the skin. Pryde grabbed his wrist. It was not sudden, nor forceful but Hux flinched anyway. Pryde held his wrist steadily.
"Stop." He said watching him calmly. He remembered Hux's scratched open wrists. Remembered holding his hands close to himself to stop him from trying to scrape off his skin. He remembered blood on Hux’s arms.
Hux you are hurting yourself! Armitage! You are hurting yourself.
The only answer he got then was a silent whine.
Hux breathed out slowly putting his hands flat on the bed. Pryde let his hand go.
Hux drew his legs to his chest placing chin on his knees and hugging legs closer. He felt small. And very distant. And very helpless.
"They say my temperature is normal now. But I am so cold." Hux said. Pryde looked at him surprised.
Fragile. It was the first thing that came to Pryde's mind when looking at Hux. He looked fragile. But then, he knew Hux was anything but fragile. He saw him beaten and broken. He saw him covered in blood, he saw him shivering and almost frozen to death and yet Hux was still alive. Sitting on his bed and looking like a broken porcelain.
"So cold." Hux repeated absently. "From all the people it had to be you. Even Ren would be better."
Pryde snorted softly looking at Hux's back. His eyes stopped just above a collar of white shirt, where pale horizontal scars were still visible, after all these years. He saw them all when he was stripping Hux from wet uniform. Long pale scars across his back and shoulders. Broken porcelain mended with scar tissue.
"They said we spent week in that cave." Hux said and Pryde nodded.
"Six days and 22 standard hours."
"Do you remember every day?"
"Most of it. Do you?"
"I remember cold. And you." Unfortunately was not articulated but clearly suggested. "I remember drowning, swallowing water then vomiting it, pain, being stripped, I remember not being able to find a valid reason of why are you taking off my uniform and you were actually saving my life. " He snorted and glanced at him with resentment. "They told me I was hypothermic either way. Few hours more and I would be dead. I am lucky that it ended on only a few missing fingers." He looked down on his hands. Bandages and bacta. They told him prosthetics will look as good as his own fingers. It’s so odd that a part of you can just fell off and not be there anymore. "But it's all like... Like a fever dream. I was crying?" He didn't exactly asked but it wasn't a statement either.
Pryde nodded slowly.
"You were delirious Armitage." He said and it sounded oh so softly.
"Did I hit you?"
"You did." Pryde said and after a brief silence he added "I deserved it."
Stop it. Hux. Stop it you useless bastard! I am trying to help you!
Hux nodded.
"You did." He agreed and they fell silent. The ghost of Brendol Hux hang between them.
"Did you ever hit him back?" ill curiosity. Pryde wish Armitage did it. Hux turned around his head to look at him, he licked his lips and nodded slowly taking a shallow breath.
"It didn't end up well for me. But I would do it again. And again. And again. So many times that he would look exactly the same as what's left of him in that bacta tank."
Fierce. Fierce was a better word to describe him. Pryde thought. Much better than fragile.
"You were talking.... About him."
"Spear me details." Hux cut him off. He sighed rubbing his face and very slowly turned around to lay down. Pryde froze but didn't move back when Hux pressed himself into his chest.
It felt familiar. Hux shivered and slowly slid down under the comforter. Pryde remembered that the moment he was the most concerned about Hux's life was the moment that Hux stopped shivering. He was laying pressed into Pryde, lifelessly. His chest cold and his pulse terribly, awfully slow. He was trying to say something but the words were resisting. His voice was resisting. Pryde laid there keeping his hand on Hux's wrist, desperately looking for a pulse and trying to warm him up as best as he could. He was failing.
Armitage took a deep breath.
"I don't think I remember how it is to breath without pain. It feels... Familiar."
It felt familiar. Sickeningly familiar. Only that Hux was warm now and his pulse was steady. Pryde realized that he is holding Hux's wrist. And Hux hated it, he hated it all, and the worst thing was that he finally felt safe. And the overwhelming coldness was gone.
Pryde realized that Hux is sleeping after few minutes. This was odd. Terrifying almost. When he was falling asleep he was certain Hux won't be next to him in the morning.
When he woke up, even before he opened his eyes, he knew he was wrong, because it was still warm.

Hux is making Pryde's life difficult by doing explicitly what he should.
Or; a thing on Pryde, Hux, swagger sticks, violence and ghosts. And memories that haunt us all.
"Allegiant General, sir."
"Yes, Lieutenant?" Pryde glanced at Mitaka, annoyed.
"There is an urgent message from the department of finances. Our recent repairs generated a budget hole since you moved funds from different departments, if we don't...."
"The head of the department should take care of that."
"She can't, sir. Her clearance is not high enough to move funds from classified projects and it's needed in our situation."
"Who usually did that?"
"General Hux, sir, personally, that's why I came to you."
Pryde sighed and returned the datapad to Mitaka.
"Forward it to Hux then."
"He... Is currently in a hangar bay by your order, he is..."
"Yes, yes. Comm him."Pryde hissed. Hux entered the bridge after twenty minutes.
"Allegiant General." He nodded.
"Hux. There are funds that need to be moved. Take care of that." He passed the datapad to him. Hux glanced at the screen and put his hands behind his back.
"I don't have access to classified transactions. You personally took care of that, sir."
"I will grant it." Pryde said, but Hux did not move.
"Should I take care of that now and leave the hangar bay in the middle of stocktaking alone or should I end my task in the hangar bay and then take care of finances? That would postpone our very tight delivery schedule."
"Do it now."
"I am afraid TIE fighters are scheduled for a test flight in a few hours and if I don't end the stocktaking that you ordered on time we will suffer massive delays. Sir."
Pryde pressed his lips tight. Stocktaking. A task that he came up with just to get rid of Hux from the bridge. It was below Hux's rank. Pryde ordered it just to humiliate him, they both knew that.
"You will manage both."
"And what else, Enric. Bring you a drink maybe?" Hux sneered at him. Mitaka went incredibly pale. Pryde gritted his teeth, looking at Hux furiously. The swagger stick shook dangerously in his hand, but Hux did not move. There was a dare in his eyes. The look that says "do it, give me a reason" Pryde saw that look countless of times on Brendol Hux. So he stepped back.
"You will manage both. And any delays are going to be your responsibility. As you were. "
Funds have been moved and stocktaking completed on time. Hux was on the bridge 0500 sharp. Pryde hated him more than yesterday.
"I am not qualified."
Pryde blinked and looked at Hux in disbelief.
"You always handled that. Mitaka told me. And now you are not qualified.”
"I am not. Sir"
The „sir” was attached to the end of the sentence after a brief silence. It always sounded like an insult. Hux had a talent to turn regular words to insults.
Pryde pressed his hands flat on the table.
"What if I order you to do it anyway?" He hissed.
"I will follow that order. But I am not responsible for the quality of my work in the areas where I am not qualified."
Pryde glared at him and then nodded.
"Very well. Do it anyway."
Hux's eyes went dark and he stayed silent for a minute, processing his defeat. "We don't have a whole day, General." Pryde said.
"Yes, sir." Hux said and left. Pryde smiled amused. Hux was unable to do anything that would harm the ship. What needs to be done will be done flawlessly. Pryde was sure about that.
His good mood disappeared when he got a report from Hux written entirely in binary and secured with seventeen levels of passwords. When he asked Hux only said:
"Ah. I thought this matter requires additional security measures. Apparently I was wrong. As I mentioned before, Allegiant General, I am not qualified in this area."
Pryde wanted to scream.
"Even if we move another unit to repairs the delay will still be around five to seven months."
"The Supreme Leader wants this ship fit for the battle in a month." Pryde hissed, pinching a bridge of his nose.
"Then maybe he should use his magic trics to assist in repairs" Hux muttered annoyed. Pryde snorted.
"And who's going to tell him that?"
"Reporting to the Supreme Leader is a privilege of the ship's commanding officer. That would be you now, Allegiant General. Since I am off shift for approximately one minute and 45 seconds I will take my leave now. Have a good shift. Sir"
Pryde only sighed and stayed silent.
"General Hux, sir!" Mitaka beamed. "General Pryde will not show up today?"
"He is in the med bay. He had a briefing with the Supreme Leader in the morning. If I am not mistaken he should be here in a few hours."
Hux was not mistaken. Pryde joined them after five hours and left the bridge with Hux after another five.
"All units we have must be moved to repairs. Arrange that."
"That's ... Unwise. " Hux frowned.
"That's the Supreme Leader's order. If you want to argue with him go ahead, Hux." Pryde hissed.
"Hm. Maybe he will agree that this is more... Appropriate solution." Hux handed him a data pad. Pryde blinked, looking through a five stage plan of increasing efficiency of repairs and gradually moving available units towards it. „Should I take it to Supreme Leader or will you, Enric?"
"When did you prepare it?" Pryde demanded.
"Yesterday evening. Sir." Hux said. "I sent it to you as fast as my shift began, but you were already.."
"Threw around like a piece of meat because you didn't think about sending it earlier!? You could have sent it yesterday!”
"I could have." Hux answered, looking him straight in the eyes.
Next time the Supreme Leader required a report, Pryde ordered Hux to give it. Bruises on Hux's neck lasted longer than on Pryde's. It should be rewarding. It wasn't. Something about seeing Hux hurt made Pryde uneasy. Memories. Too many memories.
"You imbecile! Your ignorance cost us months of work and thousands of credits!" Pryde screamed and raised his swagger stick. Before he could strike the officer, Hux grabbed the stick. It hit the skin and the whole bridge froze. Hux didn't flinch.
"Petty officer. Go back to your station and report to me after your shift." Hux said calmly
"Yes, sir. Thank you, sir" officer quickly turned around and left. Hux let go of the stick and put his hands behind his back.
"Shall we take it outside?" He asked. Pryde turned around and left the bridge. "Mitaka. You have the bridge”
Hux left and stood next to Pryde.
"According to First Order regulations, corporal punishments are strictly forbidden." Pryde snorted.
"Seems like that does not apply to us." He still felt bruises that Supreme Leader Ren caused.
"You will get used to it."
"How can you be so calm?" Pryde hissed.
"I got used to it at a very young age. Pull yourself together. Beating officers will not fix anything."
"It might improve my mood." Pryde snorted. "This idiot wasted months of work.”
Hux stayed silent for a very long minute.
"Touch anyone on this bridge, Pryde, and I will hit you back."
Pryde blinked, taken aback. Hux turned back and entered the bridge. He was holding his wrist behind his back.
On the palm of his hand was a red horizontal line that the swagger stick left. Pryde swallowed. He suddenly felt sick. Memories and a faint smell of blood hit him with unexpected force.
Pryde didn't know what he expected when he stood before Hux's quarters. He didn't expect that Hux would actually open. Certainly not dressed in non-regulatory attire. Hux did not expect him either.
"My shift starts at 0600 tomorrow." Hux said and pressed the button to close the door.
"Wait." Pryde forced a swagger stick between the door. Hux frowned, displeased. "I need... I have a briefing with Ren tomorrow." Pryde didn't like that he sounded panicked. "I won't be able to finish the report without analyzing data and I need another pair of eyes."
"My shift starts at .."
"Armitage." Hux froze and grimaced, pressing his lips tight.
"Enric."
"Treat it as a private favour. I will owe you.."
Hux considered it and closed the door. Pryde sighed and rubbed his forehead. A few minutes later Hux opened the door, dressed in something more appropriate than a silk robe.
"Come in."
Pryde realized with confusion that Hux's holodesk was powered on and there were three data pads placed near the desk.
"Aren't you off shift?"
"Some of us understand that resolving some issues immediately is crucial for First Order's well being."
Pryde found himself grabbing his swagger stick tighter.
"You..." There were countless times during these months when Hux refused to work because his shift ended.
Hux was watching him calmly and it only made Pryde more furious. What he didn't know is that Hux's cool demeanor was a facade. It took all of his will to stay put. If Pryde decided to step any closer Hux would grab his monomolecular blade and shove it blindly at Pryde, hoping it would damage him enough to get rid of him from the room.
That's what was in his head. Because when Pryde took another step and raised his swagger stick the instinct won.
Armitage covered his head, taking a deep breath and this time Pryde froze.
A memory flashed between his eyes. Memory of Brendol Hux with a belt raised high above his head. Armitage on the floor covering his head. A faint smell of blood.
Pryde felt a blaster bolt before he heard it. His body went limp and he dropped on the floor, stunned.
The next thing Pryde remembered was waking up in a med bay. It was past 10. He should have been with the Supreme Leader for two hours. Panic washed over him and he stood up quickly, putting on his uniform. The door opened and Hux stood there, his hair in mild disarray, his hands clasped behind his back. A faint smell of blood.
"I briefed the Supreme Leader already. No need to rush."
Pryde froze suddenly and everything came back to him. Swagger stick, blaster bolt, floor, Brendol Hux, faint smell of blood.
"You stunned me"
"Necessary defence."
Pryde fell silent.
"What happened officially?"
"Nothing. Nobody cared enough to ask. Ren would not care enough to even realize he should be meeting you. If one of us suddenly dies he would just shrug and proceed with his plans. One general is more than enough." Hux said, sitting down on one of the chairs. Pryde froze, realizing that he is here alone, with Hux, without a weapon.
"Armitage... "
Hux looked at him in silence for a while and then stood up.
"Have a good day, sir." Hux left and Pryde could not shake off a feeling that his life has been spared today.
From now on Pryde always smelled a faint, familiar scent of blood when he saw Hux. Dangerous, his mind always screamed, but he was still alive. He was still allowed to live and he wondered for how long.
He never raised a hand on Hux again.
It wasn't a sentiment. It was simply the fact that whenever he found himself grabbing the swagger stick a bit tighter he saw Brendol Hux behind his eyes, staring at him with an eerie grin.

Let me tell you about the mandatory shots that every FO officer was required to take every month. It contained vitamins but also lowered libido and prevented emotional outbursts.
Let me tell you about the crashout Hux had when he joined the resistance.
Let me tell you about how, for five months, Hux couldn't take his hands off Poe Dameron because his body was in constant need.
Let me tell you about how he could barely work when the last shot stopped working bc it was a neverending emotional swing.
Let me tell you about how Poe never knew if he would have to deal with crying, screaming, silent, or extremely horny Hux today.
Let me tell you about how both of them were utterly exhausted by this, but still madly in love.

One day they dropped him, and Kylo's heart almost stopped bc at this point he already had a massive crush on Hux. So he sneaks to the hospital, telling the staff he is Hux's boyfriend and smiling charmingly. And Hux is quite amused at first, but then Kylo says something that the break is not a big deal, Hux needed a break anyway, and his leg will eventually heal. And Hux is furious.
"Maybe for you. You won't understand, my father already thinks I am a disappointment, but I was the best. So, somehow, he could live with the fact that his son was running around with pompoms. Now he will make me quit. Probably sent me to some 'more appropriate school' " He looked away.
Kylo decided that he would personally fight Brendol Hux to ensure Armitage stayed.
Cheerleader Captain Hux.
He treats it VERY seriously.
Kylo was amused until he wasn't.

Listen, listen
✨Kylux modern vampire coffee shop AU✨
Where Kylo is this savage, free vampire (you know this deadly, messy, dirty type, sleeping under the ground or under sky) with KoR as his followers.
And Hux is this classy vampire lord/count/prince who lives in a old manor that he used to live with his father (before he became a vampire and murdered him, yes ofc Rae turned him so he could defend himself )
And now.
Of course Hux is disgusted by Kylo and KoR. ( Yes he is jealous of their freedom and how shameless and bold they are, and how well they adjusted to the modern word when he constantly hide in his manor )
So one night he actually come out for a walk maybe a hunt and stepped into 24 hours coffee shop. And there is this cute, snarky barista. And first Armitage wants to feast on him. But for some reasons he did not. He just goes back there every night asking questions like... How the phone works or how to operate coffee machine and can it possibly make him blood. ( He was very upset with answer and annoyed with staring from the other customers)
And the barista, Ben Solo (the mortal alater ego of Kylo Ren, bc he kinda got bored by the eternity and decided to just try to live as a mortal once in a while) is happy to help.
He is happy to help bc well first it was amusing to observe this old ass vampire scared of a coffee machine
But then he started to find it cute, and he saw that Hux is really trying to stay in the world.
And He has heard about Hux ofc. He thought he was a jerk. And he is, but he is also hot and clearly not up to date. And Kylo wants him to be up to date, and he wants to keep seeing him, and he wants to fuck him one day, hopefully. (Hux is from generation of vampires who believe that vampires don't fuck so good luck with that Kylo)
But Yes. ✨Kylux modern vampire coffee shop AU✨
