Mad is a fairly relaxing song, steady throughout, no high or low points, but the elements that come in and out in the background keep the track interesting.

It doesn't really feel that much like a short song, but still, (*shakes my fist at the sky*) I wish it was longer.

That second vocal track with the distortion/autotune or whatever? Love it, the way it comes in an out is so nice, matches well with the distorted synths.

The soundscape has such a nice texture too.

It took me more than five or six listens to actually pay any mind to the lyrics, cause although on first glance it seems like a fairly simple sounding song, it is surprisingly full, the vocal melody being as simple as it is matches well with the instrumental elements. Really like the way his voice comes in after the intro.

I have to commend him on his diction, excepting the first few words that kind of muddle together (which has more to do with how they fit into the melody than anything else), every word is crystal clear, even with the distorted second vocal track, I didn't even have to look up the lyrics, when I say every word is clear, I mean every word, a song that would never appear on nolto— level of clear.

He almost never speaks in english, so I wasn't really sure how it would sound, but wow, really good.

Now finally, to the lyrics:

It's a fairly sweet song about the moment of falling in love, and being unable to stop thinking about someone when they are not around, to the point of feeling that you are losing your mind.

Don't know if it is intentional, but I love how the imagery from "I can ride a wave" sort of connects to "I break without you close to me" in the next phrase, like a wave breaking on the shore, at least that is the image that comes to mind for me.

Am I the only one that gets all giddy when they use replay on lyrics? Not sure if it is a reference, but I'll take it as one.

All in all a really good english release, very easy to listen to, and to keep on replay without it getting boring.

Oh, and I absolutely love the cover art for the single, reminds me of 70's album covers, which makes me kind of nostalgic for some strange reason.

when you have an undriveable car?

I don't even like Lawson, and i knew they were going to pull this crap, but two races! seriously!? you gotta feel for the guy, even if he was doing this poorly

really hope Yuki does well, and i have faith in his skills, but i'm still worried, next race is going to be such high pressure for him, AND it is his home GP

though it wouldn't look too bad for him right now if he does struggle, since he has had barely any running in that car, and we all know it is crap to drive

either way it is going to make rbr look bad— either for not promoting him in the first place, or since it will irrefutably show their car is crap to drive, clowns.
