as a trans person, i’m used to being called gross. i’m used to people thinking my relationships are gross. and as a trans man, i know that for every criticism i get, trans women get ten times worse.

so when griffin made lup a canonically trans woman in a canonically happy relationship, i knew that people would be assholes about it. i just thought it would be straight people.

i get that y'all are frustrated with heteronormativity and the way women characters are treated, but there are ways to say that without being transphobic. calling the loving relationship between a man and a trans woman gross is not okay.
