one of my closest friends recommended this album to me and i loveeeee it!! the beat and his voice just go SO well together and i love how vulnerable he is.

not me using this blog as a reason to re-listen to hozier by hozier

after listening to the album in its entirety, i can confidently say this man is literally one of my all time favourite artists. i used to just listen and admire the sound of the songs but recently i’ve started to listen and try to understand the lyrics and they’re so beautiful. he’s just so. poetic. and i’m so in love.

personal faves at the moment: angel of small death and the codeine scene, jackie and wilson, cherry wine, like real people do

i've always wanted to just sit down and listen to melodrama in its entirety and i finally did!
