Episode 9 (May 31) – One’s Own Proof To prove that he had awoken the Byakugan, it is decided that Boruto will spar with his aunt, Hanabi. With Naruto and his grandfather watching over them, Boruto fights boldly, but no matter how hard he tries he is not able to activate the Byakugan, and gets down on himself as a result. No where in the movie or manga say he got the eye from killing a god. You are thinking of the seal on his hand, which is a different thing.

boruto is so confusing…in the manga and the movie, he gets his weird eye thing from killing a god, but in the anime…he already has it. and he’s still in the academy, not even a genin. so why…does he have….his eye thing.

That is not what she says in Japanese, it’s a bad translation. In the original she say "He's strong, huh? I'd like to see for myself..."  Blame mangastream for crappy translation.

Sarada’s new design isn’t Sakura’s fault. Sakura isn’t the person sexualizing twelve-year-old girls. Sakura is a character she is not the artist, who frankly has no art skills to being with, but this is worse than terrible art. This is taking a perfectly good character and ruining them.
