if ralsei's figured out that susie wasn't meant to be the second hero, it does add an additional weight to his words after she comforts him when she finds the final prophecy. "she's a very very kind person. how can she be so kind." to know this wonderful, just, fiercely loyal, incredibly good kid who's been abused and mistreated all her life who just needed the smallest act of kindness to bloom into the person she is now... and to know the prophecy cast her as its villain. how heartlessly cruel.
