We’ve got every fucking right to be bitter about this year Grammy nominations because the boys have been working off their asses for the past five years without taking a break and yet their success, music, and talent is ignored and laughed at because they’re “just a boy band” and I’m so sick of it. They lost a fucking member while being on tour and they still managed to write and release an amazing album while continuing their SECOND stadium tour where they had to rearrange their parts due to losing one member. One Direction have proven with every new album that they are so much more than “just a boy band” but people REFUSE to even give them a chance because that would mean that those “crazy, obsessed and deluded” fans would be right for once. One Direction deserve to be recognized and be treated as serious artists, but in an industry which refuses to break stereotypes, even though it claims otherwise, this will sadly never happen.
