Final project propsal
The uniqueness of humans is their identity composed of multiple layers. Although a picture is a uniquely expressive way to capture a person's identity, it can only capture on side of their well round personalities. Even though “a picture worth a thousand words”, but one picture cannot be sufficient to capture a person’s true identity. Photo project inspired by David Hockney, created the "joiners" in the 1980s, Brno Del Zou, the French photographer who created in 1963 the “photosculptures”, he uses the fragmentation of the body to better understand it, and lastly John Stezaker, British photographer who creates small format collages that bear qualities of surrealism.
So I decided to compile a “complete” picture from a sense of individually photographed details for the end result will be one picture with every feature of the face overlaid. In addition, for aligning the "complete" picture of a lady to a "complete" picture of a man.
I photographed 9 women and 9 men to align their photo collage after it is done. The challenging part was finding the common features between the men and women so I could align each Photo collage with the other, in a sense that the two faces will be aligned properly. Another difficulty was the clothing, I searched for people who "almost" were wearing the same.
The aim of the project is knowing that each person can have multiple personalities but can be similar with another person, not from the same gender because it is harder to find one that has the similar identity. In some pictures, at the first glance one will think that it is the same person but the person is deformative or that there is something wrong with the picture, but when one takes another look at the picture he/she will realize that the picture is composed of 2 people, a lady, and a man, and each person has his own collage.

Nobody’s Nobodies ROGÉRIO REIS
The use of colored stripes over faces speaks to the candid shots of the bathers on Rio’s beaches. This was the humorous and sensual way he found to discuss use and image control these days. It’s a reflection on identity and image ownership in the public space.
his desire to return to shooting full frame and up close to a scene, with no obstacles, and far away from the threat of court proceedings, was decisive. The stripe allowed me the freedom to openly practice photography in an era when it’s no longer possible without the prior permission of the people photographed.  One way to protect the identity of the people you photograph is to apply small geometric figures over their faces. This can often produce a curious and ironic aesthetic. For examples, you can refer to the poetic works of the Hungarian artist, László Moholy-Nagy, and the American, John Baldessari.

color :ALAIN LABOILE
This project fits into the same process as “La Famille": snapshots of his daily life in the countryside. However, for some of these seized moments, a color treatment appeared as the manifest choice.
in this project, he, Alian Laboile, emphasizes the colors actually it emphasizes the emotions in each photograph

Feedback of assignment 2
Reflection Assignment 2 How can you transform an object through visual composition?
in this assignment, I had to think outside the box.
Shapes are defined by contrast of differing light or color areas. Shapes exist in nature and we see these high contrast areas defined as lines. We see shapes visually and as they are emphasized by lines, they can have very complex effects in composition. They can be somewhat difficult to work with as they are often somewhat expected.
Shapes can be geometrical and/or abstract. Abstract shapes can often have phycological associations with the viewer on various levels of depth. At their most obvious they tend to be object identification. A silhouette of a chair can be identified as a chair because its an object just about everyone can identify. Same with any other subject or shape of familiarity. Shapes that are abstracted either by blur, shadow, distance or scale begin to have a more dramatic effect as they might hit the viewer on a more subconscious level. In other words they might not be the first thing the viewer sees or recognizes on first glance. This can often create interest and a stronger visual impact.
Cropping can be done either with the entire composition, or by obstructing the subject by other elements of a composition. Cropping refers to the information you are willing to give the viewer. Our brains will assume missing information that we can’t see. Choosing what elements of your subject you want to reveal can create more interest often than showing the viewer too much. Missing information can create mystery or uncertainty. It can also effect the intimacy (or lack of) between the subject and the viewer.
Scale can also be created using perspective. Objects closer to the point of view are larger in scale than the same object far away. Perspective can be used to create a false since of scale since photographs exist in a 2 dimensional space.
The use of focus or blur in photography is a native characteristic of the medium that can be used to great effect. Focusing on subjects draws attention and importance to them. Blur, or showing subjects out of focus starts to bring a layer of abstraction to them. The amount of blur is at the discretion of the photographer – a little bit of blur can create a sense of abstraction, nostalgia or even subconscious representation. Extreme blur can turn shapes into simply textures. Careful use of focus and/or depth of field can create a great amount of interest in what your are communicating visually.
Somewhat similar to focus, lighting can also bring emphasis to a subject that’s brightly lit and less attention to subjects that are over and under lit. This effect can be similar to focus and blur but objects will retain their outline definition as long as they are separated from the background.
on Wednesday I photographed lots,140 photographs, of photos, then I showed them to Dr. Ronnie he did not like any except for 2 pictures. I was devastated and kept thinking through the weekend what should I photograph, which will not be boring and be creative. at the beginning, I was searching for elements and materials to capture. then I realized that in every single thing there is something to photograph. I suffered the most in capturing Rule of thirds
it was a pleasant assignment where I had to think outside the box and discover that everything and anything can make a perfect picture but one just think a little bit.
After Dr. Ronnie gave me feedback in class; he advised me to crop the picture of color which was a flower, to edit the frame in frame picture which I increased the exposure, and to redo the movement and the rule of thirds.
i redid the rule of thirds in class and the Dr. liked it.
the picture that Ronnie liked the most is the light, he was impressed
Dr. Ronnie was impressed by the photographs that i thought he would give me a negative feedback about.

TURJOY CHOWDHURY:Born refugee
This series of photographs depicts portraits of babies who were born refugees. They began their lives in the wombs of Rohingya women, crossed the Myanmar-Bangladesh border and were brought into the world at refugee camps inside Bangladesh.
The future of these babies is being called into doubt given their stateless status under Bangladesh’s citizenship law. Since they were born inside a refugee camp, the country does not recognize them as citizens by birth. But having fled Myanmar, they are not recognized as citizens of their homeland either.
Without birth certificates they cannot enroll in schools. But even before that, they face severe nutritional deficits and an alarming lack of medical facilities.
These babies are aged between one day and three months old. The colorful backdrops consist of blankets given to Rohingya families as part of relief aid. They metaphorically represent the refugee status of these babies.
These photographs are meant to provoke questions about the future of babies born in an alien place, where they are given no rights and no statehood. Ultimately, these are meant to show that children are always the worst sufferers in any conflict, anywhere

TOMASO BALDESSARINI
Identity is a much discussed topic in our society today. We feel in visual patterns that are subject to all sorts of prejudices. Travesty is for the people who operate it a kind of self-realization. But this is about much more than makeup and the right clothes. Travesty is a way of life for the people who operate them. Much more this is an abstraction of their own feelings and personality. Your fictional identities are an expression of personality, honesty and character.
If you look closely, you told every detail of these images and a story reveals a lot about the person standing behind the character. This involves much more than sexual orientation. A kind of life, cohesion and depth. Each of these images carries a life story itself which is very exciting. Without words, these images tell stories about experiences, fates and joy. Despite the panel you can see the true character behind the role. The role illustrates rather the actual person.
The pictures are not perfect because of the beautiful appearance to be broken, it is necessary to look behind the facade of being imaged. Therefore, these images were photographed on a 100-megapixel camera to visualize even the most detail. Equally it comes to show the people the way they are, with all their mistakes
