If you think this is something, wait till you see how they meet. Seth & AOP are in a six man tag match against KO, Samoa Joe & The Big Show, Buddy is sitting on the floor outside of the ring devastated that he lost to Aleister a few minutes before. Seth gets tossed out of the ring, notices Buddy sitting next to him & begs him for help.
Another brilliant moment is in the lead up to his match with Drew at MITB, Buddy comes back after the contract signing goes awry, the two hug cause Buddy's been off TV for a while and then Buddy pushes Seth out of the way, taking a Claymore bullet for his Messiah.
Before there was Bronlins there was Buddins.
why were you people hiding this from me.

Well, considering that apparently the next SNME will be in his 'hometown' & he's been training for one final match, the possibilities of this not only being a match but Gunther's first defence have gone up. Take into account that his character work is a bit rickety & that he's spent most of his time in WWE as a champion and I think that things could crumble for him if something isn't done.
Now if Gunther lose that title to Goldberg I promise you I will be howling

I was trying to start the third season of Scandal last night, but I had a brain fog moment and decided to rest it off. Little did I know it was a sign telling me to watch it today, when a massive political scandal is breaking out in Washington right now!

Now that Mariah is officially a WWE wrestler, there is a chance that, like Ricky Saints, she'll have to change her name due to her quick arrival. I say she changes it to Mariah Mae, firstly because it sounds the same despite the y turning to an e, and secondly because it's after the old Hollywood actress Mae West, so it's a nod to her time in AEW & the story that made her a hot commodity in the first place.

HAPPY PRIDE MONTH BABIES!!
Love who you want….
Be who you want…..
Be prideful in yourself…..
Remember, you are loved, cherished, and respected by those who have no hate in your heart.
I am bisexual and proud. Some folks don’t accept me in my family and that’s fine.🤷‍♀️
But the main one that does accept me is my grandmother and she supports me no matter what. Her exact words were, “I don’t care if you were green, purple, or polka dots. You’re still my baby and I love you no matter what.” Still those words stay with me in my heart.
To LGBTQIA+ community……
SHOW YOUR PRIDE PROUDLY!!!!🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

It feels like Russell's way to dispel toxic incelic fan culture is to hit the panic button and recast actors from his heyday era. DT & Billie are incredible actors who we're more than happy to see come back to Doctor Who, but their returns coming at Ncuti's expense feels incredibly infuriating.
The frustrating thing is this could have happened at the end of Season 3 and I don't think anyone would have minded as long as he got a good send off, but Russell has handled his run really badly, from upstaging Ncuti's casting announcement, to putting his two Doctor lite eps opposite each other instead of letting them breathe (which caused critique of that first season that could have been avoided), not letting him face any of the big three villains (Daleks, Cybermen & The Master) and now this.
ncuti gatwa i’m so so sorry, first your entrance was overshadowed by david tennant and now your exit was overshadowed by billie piper

I would have loved to have seen them going at it for the United States Championship at WM41 had Shinsuke held onto the belt, both have dark gimmicks, both have a finisher involving their legs and both use the mist, it would have been a brilliant one on one.
Time for two of the fucking coolest fucking people on the roster to finally square off!!

It is a love/hate relationship, most companies tend to be, but I feel like issues with AEW, TNA etc can be manageable as long as they have a welcoming environment, unfortunately WWE seems to be catering towards a rich, right wing, straight white perspective & thus it feels like minorities feel like they don't fit. When Sami is being forced to delete posts calling out Zionism but they'll promote people like Logan who's said incredibly problematic things, it sends a very aggressive message.
But with what you said about the women's division, I don't know what is Hunter's deal with sabotaging the division, a lot of the releases today tank a tag division that is struggling (though Bianca & Naomi and Liv & Raquel have been doing everything they can to power through) and this, coupled with the copy and paste writing for Liv and Naomi, Rhea's character regression in the lead to WM41 and the lack of momentum put behind the division despite segments outrating those of so called 'faces of the company', it seemed as though Hunter cared about the women's roster, spearheading the modern 'Women's Evolution' and since he became in charge something snapped.
While I love many wrestlers in WWE, today is one of those days where it's hard to be positive about the state of affairs, especially concerning TKO's fixation of profits and vitality over making an accessible product, not to mention their utter lack of respect for the women's division, cause what do you mean Dakota, K2 and Jakara got released?

This is how I've been watching for a long while, and while I might start watching live as Apple TV will display the live Netflix stream, I agree that the product is taking a worrying turn into far right territory and it sends a negative message that those in minorities or aren't rich enough to fork out a fortune on tickets and travel to events aren't welcomed anymore. I have many favourites on the roster, but it's hard to support them knowing that the owners of this company are showing such support to an utter POS who is coming after not only my community but any that's slightly differs from the straight white male norm.
Removing that from Hunter, he was better than VKM with only a few fuck ups here and there, but recently (especially this year), he's been slipping majorly with multiple stories and it seems as though we've taken a big 180 back to where we once were.
what's going on right now is exactly why i will probably stop watching wwe live when it airs and just scroll through tumblr to see what's happening and just watch matches, segments, and promos that other people upload. what is happening is sickening. they are actively firing women, wresters who are people of color, some are lgbtq+, and/or wrestlers who outwardly speak bad about trump.
honestly, i will not be surprised if Chelsea Green ends up getting released soon too because she is very actively a supporter of the lgbtq+ community and etc. between this and the roast of wrestlemania shit that happened a few weeks ago, it's becoming so hard to enjoy wwe content and it's genuinely fucking sad. Triple H is not the "savior of the wwe" that he's been being painted as for years. he is genuinely just a guy who is another version of Vince who gets painted as one of the "good guys" just because he lets the wrestlers take vacation days.

I'm so sorry, WWE released quite a few talents (a fuckton of women and a couple of men, one of which [Eddie Thorpe] had posted an anti Trump tweet a couple of days or so ago). It's clear to see that Hunter and TKO are taking the UFC right wing approach, cause these releases do nothing but hurt a division already being underbooked in the first place and sends a clear message that WWE doesn't want anyone in a minority and who can't fork out $2k on tickets.

The Rehearsal: Nathan Fielder vs Paramount+
TL;DR - Watch the latest ep of HBO's The Rehearsal (which is one of the most important shows on TV right now) and seek out Nathan For You, Season 3 Episode 2. Oh and in the words of Summit Ice Apparel: Deny nothing and Stand For Everything.
--
While I'm quite sure his brand of uniquely awkward and smart comedy makes him a Tumblr favourite, I hadn't watched a Nathan Fielder show before today. My sister told me about his docu-comedy series The Rehearsal a few years ago, which focuses on a fictionalised version of Fielder helping people rehearse difficult life situations with the help of actors navigating a realm of possibilities, blending reality and fiction together seamlessly. As far as I can tell, Season 1 focused on a variety of issues while Season 2 focuses on aviation accidents, which is rather timely.
As the latest ep of the show went out, online chatter began stirring as viewers reacted to a segment of the show where he revealed an incident where he struggled to communicate his feelings in order to keep the piece. The situation in question, an ep of another show of his called Nathan For You, was removed from Paramount+ in Germany for sensitivities regarding Anti-semitism and from what we saw, the offending content in question was centred on a clothing brand Fielder had set up called Summit Ice Apparel, who's business model centred around Holocaust remembrance. A brand that stood against the denial of such a sad yet pivotal moment of Earth history didn't really seem like it should be struct from the service in Germany, let alone the entire world, yet that's exactly what happened. (It's also worth mentioning that you can get results on the streaming platform when you search terms like Nazi or Hitler)
The segment makes mention of Fielder not wanting to upset executives as he is also apart of another Paramount+ supported show The Curse, however in tracing back his steps, as is common on The Rehearsal, he reimagines his email conversation with the executives in a set that looks eerily similar to a war room, with Paramount+ drapes aligning the wall and even soldiers marching outside as he surveys the scene following two run throughs of his conversation, one straight forward yet stilted and the second a lot more critical, basically, he compares Paramount+ to the nazi party.
To go against a giant studio brand takes gigantic balls to do, and Fielder deserves every single prop he's getting right now online, however it also was seemingly bolstered following the ending of this week's edition of 60 Minutes, where the final minute paid tribute to executive producer Bill Owens, who resigned from the show following attempts made by Paramount to merge with a company called Skydance, which reportedly needed backing from The Trump Administration, so Paramount began observing the stories 60 Minutes was producing more closely and feeling his liberties were threatened, chose to walk away.
This all coming in one night was absolutely riveting TV, the type of gem that comes along once in a while. So I did what any reasonable person would do hearing about this hot button issue, I dived in myself to watch The Rehearsal and see what the fuss was about, what I found was one of the weirdest shows I've seen, a lot of programs can base their weirdness in a writers room, but this one weaves narrative with real life events so well that you can struggle to work out Fielder's character, it's awkward, weird, confronting, hilarious, introspective and it's absolutely hilarious.
After watching the latest episode of a show I will go back and watch the beginning of (along with the second season premiere), I went to find the ep of Nathan For You that had caused so much fuss, and after hitting a stumbling block of YouTube not selling it, I eventually found it and sat down for a more structurally formed yet distinctly different type of show, where Fielder assisted small businesses by appealing to new demographics (this one was accompanied by helping a horse riding business accomodate plus sized customers and a local boutique making a men's zone for the couples that frequent the store).
Eventually we get to the controversial segment to find... next to no controversy. The business of Summit Ice Apparel is born from Fielder discovering a brand he has worn many times on TV dedicated space in their catalogue to a holocaust denier, which upset the Jewish personality and caused inconveniences for family members. As a result, the brand was built around Holocaust remembrance, making sure everyone involved from the designers to the model acknowledged the terrible event. In pitching to a clothing store, Fielder constructs a display that highlighted some of the things that were occurring in death camps, a detailed banner, outfits being placed on mannequins that sported grey uniforms and a sizeable amounts of nazi flags.
The store owner was put off and even I admit that the nazi flags seemed excessive, but the heart was there and that was admirable. Confronting, yeah I can see that, but to remove it from the streaming platform? There's no reason to do it. But funnily enough, the attempt to censor might end up backfiring, think about it, when you slap the name of something and controversy next to it while circulating it heavily, what are people going to do? Go and watch it to inform themselves of what is going on so they have an opinion, something to talk about around the water cooler.
As a result, I think this controversy being brought to the forefront by Fielder will get people to watch these shows for the very first time and even seek out the pulled ep wherever they can find it and spread awareness to what Summit Ice Apparel is about as a brand, and that is more advertising than leaving the ep up could have brought in, so at the end of the day, even though Fielder wields the punchlines, the joke is on Paramount.
