INTRODUCING GHOST!NICK x NOAH(OC)

Nick is a ghost boy. When he appears, his body is translucent, edged with a faint glow that flickers if he moves too quickly. The moonlight passes through him, and sometimes you can see the outlines of furniture behind his shoulders. He wears old fashioned clothes simple shorts with buttons on the front and a short-sleeved shirt that looks like it came from another era. Nick’s voice is quiet and a little echoey, like he’s far away, adults can’t see him at all, kids can only see him at night. Even though he’s a ghost, there is nothing frightening about Nick. He carries the softness of a child who never got to grow up and the longing of someone who still just wants a friend.

Noah has a quiet way about him he rarely raises his voice and when he does it’s usually because he’s scared. Ever since his parents split up, Noah’s world has felt unsteady. He misses his dad more than he knows how to say, and sometimes at night he curls up under the blankets and cries where no one can hear. At school, he’s the kid everyone calls weird The other kids tease him, and he’s learned to keep his head down. Noah is thoughtful and gentle, with a heart that bruises easily. He tries hard to be brave for his mum, who is always tired from working late, and he carries a quiet hope that maybe things will feel normal again someday.
