Kinpa can't help but respond with stunned disbelief as Hakkai, who'd seemed perfectly comfortable only a moment ago, freezes and shuts up like a clam once again. Eyes narrowing, she slowly leans forward as if to examine him - though that's pretty hard, considering the way he kind of towers above her.

What exactly is this guy's problem? She's not that scary, is she? Suddenly, Kinpa feels a bit self-conscious, though she knows the thought is absurd. Hakkai's shell-shocked demeanor had seemed a bit pathetic at first, but now she just honestly feels sorry for him. Or maybe concerned is more the right word?

"I'm not gonna bite you, you know! I know you can talk, I heard you just now."

Immediately, the feminine voice cuts into any confidence he had in expressing his own mind, standing awfully still and almost neglecting to breathe. Back perfectly straight and mind completely clear he stands at attention, eyes staring forward, awaiting for direction that would never come. There's something hardwired within him that automatically reacts to a woman's voice and Hakkai, consciously, has no means of turning it off. Sweat beads at his temple the more fragments of thoughts leaked through the crevices of an otherwise empty mind, unable to do anything but freeze in her her wake.

it's been a bit since i last posted here but i did enjoy getting to see kinpa and the rest as adults in astro royale's extra chapter a lot. but man........ i can't help but be sad it was cancelled... i've mentioned before that i don't think the series was that good, and i wasn't that attached, but i kind of really wanted to know what was going on with shio and satsuki and i'm sad that we'll just. never get an answer to that??? idk.

i don't know how the series would've gone if it continued or if it even had any potential, but still. kinpa i will always love you ;ww;

not long till the final volume of astro royale is released and we get to see the extra epilogue........ i'm looking forward to it! i'm not a huge fan of the manga overall and i'm not surprised it was cancelled in the end, but i will take any excuse to see my girl.

Kinpa's not meaning to be impatient, even if she comes across that way. It's just that she still has no idea what Angry wants to show her, and, well- while she's definitely curious, she's always been the blunt type, too. If there's nothing to get enthusiastic about, she's not going to force it. It's made it somewhat difficult to make friends, at times, but that's fine - she's more than content with the ones she has already.

After a moment, she adds skeptically-
