As regards to teams and characters outside of Rival Gates, unfortunately I'd have to say no. I only want to focus my time and energy on my RG guys. Besides, some old characters from PMD-E and PMD-Unity will or have made a comeback in the RG world. So you may get to see them and ask them a question in the future!

Playing my first ever randomized pokemon game, PMD sky! Somehow I rolled a Mew and picked my partner of drifloon. So far they’re doing really well!

Got this finished! I've been doing physical therapy for my wrists (yes the left one eventually was feeling weird too) for two weeks now and, seeing improvement, the doctor encouraged me to draw again. My hands mostly feel normal doing everyday stuff now, it's just drawing that causes the right one to feel slightly strained after a while (2-ish hours). I feel like 85% my old self and it's such a relief! Just gotta wait for them to be full strength again~

Hard to believe it's been 9 years already! The PMD community is filled with such amazing people and Rival Gates is no exception. Can't even begin to express how much these groups have helped me through the years, given me joy and a general sense of peace at times. So thank you all for the neat stories you make, little comments you give, and sticking with me through my teams’ adventures!

I wanted to dedicate this year to Rival Gates’ sidekicks, secondary leaders, and so on whose support has really shown through this year. Can't have a great team without a great support system!

On a side note, as you can see, this picture is unfinished as, even though I've been working on it for a while, couldn't get it done in time (maybe I'll finish it up in the future, who knows). My wrist still bothers me. Been drawing in short chunks with plenty of breaks, being sure to only do this when my wrist feels normal and stopping immediately if I feel any sort of strain. So usually it's been 10 to 30 minutes one day, then I'd wait 3 days or more to draw again. So, on the side of caution, I'm going to try and not draw for at least a month, maybe longer, until I feel my wrist is ready to handle drawing properly.

It's been pretty rough this month and a half as drawing is my comfort and de-stresser, but I'm going to try and remain positive, take this one day at a time.

Old Nichi! My Rabsca OC! Finally made an OC out of one because I won my first ever raffle and the prize was to have an PMD OC included in something and I just- gotta get my ancient beetle grandma take out there. I just love that there is an implied immortal larvae puppet master up in there!! Info about her personality under the cut!

The idea for this oc is that she doesn’t feel old but to everyone else she comes off as ancient perpetually referencing things long since relevant when it comes to the current history. But! Besides being stuck in countless old eras, she is quite sociable! Thinking like a ghibli grandma type, someone who has long since abandoned shame and is extremely earnest when it comes to talking to people but can have a bit of spunk especially with that lack of shame holding her back. They do however have no patience for bullies in the same breath, finding the behavior immature no matter the age of the individual.

Most of her life she’s been living that civilian life style but did not participate in politics or large happenings which she found horribly repetitive in that history repeats itself kind of way (outside of protecting friends and loved ones during turmoil) She’s not nationalistic to any one identity so feels a bit like a rogue to any power figure if any. Her age she has no idea, why keep count? Her puppet shell reflects the older age she was at when she reached “enlightenment” and evolved which was older for her pre evo but now hardly feels like a decimal point in her long long life. Enlightenment means she just stopped giving a hoot about petty things and decided to live fully and earnestly so the things she treasures the most is people and the moments they can share among cultures and nature.
