Hey guys something fucking bad happened

KOSA/the kids online safety act has been reintroduced into legislature after it passed Senate last year and then got snubbed. It is not unlike the bill that just passed in the UK a few weeks ago. If you don't want what happened in the UK to happen here, now would be a good time to vocally oppose it.

Here is a petition that can be signed by Americans. Attached to the petition is an easy tool that allows you to call and leave messages for your representatives. I have already done so. You can also email your representatives by searching for their name, most have message submission boards as well. This thing died once, it can die again.

Please sign/share the petition and contact your representatives.

I was watching a nature documentary and the episode I was watching was a documentary about humpback whales and it had a baby and for some reason I completely forgot whales were mammals and produced milk, and I was so perplexed on how a baby whale could drink milk underwater then for some reason my next thought was what does whale milk taste like

so I go on a rabbithole on trying to figure how what whale milk is like... Apparently it's about as thick as toothpaste and tastes fishy, not sure what I expected with that one but the more you know! I guess ..

Dr. Allen Frances says in speculating about Trump’s mental health, we are doing a disservice to those who do suffer from mental illness. In a series of tweets, he explained why he doesn’t think Trump is a narcissist — and how harmful it can be for us to keep assuming that he is.

You want to call your House rep now and tell them Trump needs to be impeached immediately for defying a Supreme Court order (re: Kilmar Abrego Garcia), which functionally voids our constitution and means no one in America has rights anymore.

I am not exaggerating.

As of now, anybody can be disappeared, no due process, no recourse. Trump is openly disregarding a Supreme Court order and says he’ll send US citizens to El Salvador.

This is not a drill.

Call your House rep and tell them they must impeach. Tell them if they cannot bring themselves to impeach, they must resign. A more open and shut case to impeach is not possible. Trump and his administration are saying openly, in public, that anybody can be kidnapped by ICE, even in error, and disappeared permanently.

Call your senators, too, and tell them to support impeachment (it goes to them once it passes a majority House vote).

How cruel it is for a person to find himself in a situation he never imagined… to transform from a professional, from a person who works hard to earn a living with dignity, to someone who extends his hand begging for help, not because he wants to, but because he is forced, coerced, trapped between hunger, injustice and betrayal.

Begging… is not just asking for money, but it is the loss of a part of the self, the breaking of the spirit that used to give instead of waiting for giving. We did not get here because we made a mistake, we did not choose this path, but it was imposed on us by force.

Since when did we run after screens, looking for a glimmer of hope in donation links, sending message after message, enduring embarrassment, facing rejection, being expelled from some people’s conversations as if we were a burden? Since when did this become the reality we have to live?

Do you know what is harder than hunger? Not the lack of food, nor the loss of money… but to have your dignity taken away in broad daylight, to find yourself being fought from all sides, to feel that the whole world wants you to break, to become just a beggar on the doorsteps of organizations and donations.

But we no longer expect anything from the world… not from governments, nor from politicians, nor from those who draw maps with our blood. All that remains for us is you… you are the ones who feel for us, those who support the Palestinian cause who understand our suffering, who realize that what we are living is not life, but a daily struggle for survival.

So excuse us… we have no trick, no power, except with God and then with you.
