general mathematics spread! this week was about math in finance. the classes for me were just like reviews since I learned this back in senior high! ☀️

I use the Zebra Sarasa Black Pen in 0.5 and the pastel blue Mildliner when I write my notes for this subject ☁️

It’s really daunting for me to write personal statements. Not only do I not always know what to write, but it also requires a good balance of being personal and professional, of showing yourself off but without seeming too full of yourself, and also requires you to be honest but without admitting that this school you’re applying to not the first one on your list… Personal statements are definitely a challenge, but I think if they’re well-written, they can be such a great asset to an application. I’m really hoping I’ll be able to write something that will represent me well and make me justice! • Do you have any tips for personal statements?

I’m back y’all.

So, I took a break from the studyblr community.  This last year, I went through a lot of personal stuff and found it super hard to stay motivated to make my notes look pretty or even to study at all.  I absolutely had to take a couple of months to chill out and not worry about studyblr and that aesthetic, just for the sake of my own mental health. 

And this isn’t all about studyblr.  It’s about school in general.  Being a student at the same time as being a human is exhausting.  At some point in your academic career, you have to (unfortunately) learn the hard way that you cannot take on too much at once.  We all want to succeed in life, and sometimes we get caught up in scheduling too much in order to resume-build, or raise your GPA, or whatever it may be.  I learned to calm tf down and not to stress about always alway always having perfect notes and beautiful pictures and diagrams.  If you are apart of the studyblr and you feel or have felt this way before, speak out about it!! Tumblr has a certain idea of perfection that we all strive to achieve - but, realistically, it’s impossible to get to that point of perfection.  We’re human.  And that’s okay.  

At the end of the day, I’m back to doing what I love in a more healthy and stress-relieving way.  That’s all that matters.
