it’s obvious that naruto missed sasuke in all those years and i also think sasuke missed naruto in his own way, that kind of feeling you have on the back of your mind, but don’t dare to touch, he missed the warmth and being loved but he also avoided to think about it because he had other things going on, but anyway i honestly think they would miss each other even more after they reconciled and sasuke was travelling and all. sasuke, king of pining and not doing something about it, would be allowed to think about naruto and miss him properly, it wouldn’t be something to put on the back of his head and not deal with it anymore, especially before they get together because it would have the whole longing and conflict he feels towards loving naruto and knowing he’s loved by naruto but not doing anything about it because naruto isn’t 100% aware of his own love for sasuke so sasuke fears rejection and doesn’t want to scare naruto off. and naruto would miss sasuke so much more too, it’s one thing to miss sasuke when their relationship was turbulent while also being worried about him, it’s another to have sasuke’s love now but not having sasuke close, it doesn’t help that naruto is also figuring out how he really feels towards sasuke. and he would admit to sasuke he misses him a lot and sasuke would ache inside and say “but we’ve been apart before” and naruto would say “yeah but this is different, it’s worse now” and sasuke gets it. i find it so in character of naruto to drop everything he’s doing when sasuke shows up, or take day offs just to see sasuke, because that’s really just a need of his
