dramatic title to make people read, I deleted my old tmnt blog (kgbtmnt which before that was kimberlygb-draws or smth)
I’m not in the fandom anymore (although I still draw my own take on tmnt, i don’t think i’m what people call fangirl, since I don’t watch the shows or stuff anymore)
I got slightly annoyed I was gaining followers recently, even if the blog wasn’t as active in months (nor I post my art there anymore??) just because apparently, an old vine TMNT comic I made in 2018 got digged up and started to get notes again, while I’ve been working my ass off to get my actual art blog noticed (which in fact, contains TMNT fanart, but for a miracle, it doesn’t get as much spotlight)
But the deletion was abruptly and I didn’t warn anyone, and then remembered there is probably gonna notice it disappeared, so I’m making this post-deletion post from my main blog
Anyways, here are my other two blog now that the tmnt one was deleted:
@kimberlygbart - my actual art + fanart blog, please consider having a look at that (I post tmnt art, but also godzilla, youtubers and videogame stuff too)
@raphlyrambles - my tmnt self shipping blog, mostly my oc x raph stuff
I’m compelled by stories where the characters suffer a lot, but only if there’s catharsis in the end. If they just die without ever getting to recover I’m OUT because what’s the fucking purpose then? Voyeurism? Bye
I think in the ability to freely explore the worlds we create and learn about those worlds while playing, in particular with our Assassin’s Creed games. It’s something that was very attractive to us, because it didn’t really exist when the first Assassin’s Creed game arrived, this idea that you could learn about the past while playing and think about the possibility of doing better today - Yves Guillemot
all of us have been unlearning problematic things - it’s really malicious and in bad faith to purposefully dig up old posts by someone that do not reflect their current opinions and attack them over it out of context
