Islam is not oppressive.
Islamic states, such as Saudi Arabia, are oppressive, as all states are.
"Hating men is a response to a hateful ideology!" -newsociety on why terrorism is okay.
“Hating oppressors is wrong because you should be at peace with the people who actively harm you!”
Flawless logic. Try again.

I’m sorry, was that supposed to make sense, or are you seriously that ignorant?

You need to stop using the word 'folk' or 'folks'. They're dogwhistles for white nationalists since they relate to folk, and therefore country, music, which is a haven of old-fashioned racist whites.
If this is your attempt at a ‘gotcha,’ it’s miserable.

Misandry is not “resistance” to misogyny. They are in fact separate and opposites unlike what you state. Look up the definitions yourself. They just replace the pronoun. As a woman, I feel both men and women can be treated like dirt and not all men are bad. Neither prejudice is in retaliation of the other.
You’re missing the point. Misogyny has the backing of thousands of years of patriarchy behind it. Misandry has what, exactly? A bunch of women, femmes, enbys, etc. who hate men for perpetuating a system of oppression? No, they are not comparable.
When women have historically oppressed men, then maybe you’ll have an argument.

Something I don’t think white people understand is the randomness of anti-Black racism and how terrifying that can be. It’s easy to see black people doing everyday things and going about our lives and then concluding, “Hm…doesn’t look so bad to me. I don’t see anybody getting killed.”
But if you’re black, you understand that at any given moment, in any given situation, all it’s gonna take is just ONE white person to “misunderstand” your presence, “feel threatened” and overreact. And then it’s On. Doesn’t matter if you’re innocent, doesn’t matter if you weren’t doing anything wrong, merely being black in public means you’re constantly at risk of falling victim to racism.
And it’s completely random. Not the racism—that’s structural not random—but when and where it can take place. Every single thing a black person who’s name has become a hashtag, I’ve probably done all of those things. All of them. When I don’t get killed by a racist, that doesn’t mean there’s no racism in my neighborhood or at my workplace, it just means I was lucky.
And God help the innocent black person who has the police called on them. Monday no one called the police because they thought I “looked suspicious” (i.e. black) when they saw me walking home. And nobody called the police on me Tuesday for walking while black. But I understand that’s no guarantee that it won’t happen on Wednesday or the day after that, or the day after that. And this is a possibility regardless of how I’m dressed and regardless of how well I speak or my educational level.
I am always one “misunderstanding” away from being killed, solely due to my race.
I understand this because I’m Black in America. Because racism can be sO random and it can happen literally anywhere, at any time, for any reason, or for no reason at all.

I read your post about misandry, and it made a lot of sense to me! I have now realized that my Islamaphobia is simply me hating those who cause me harm, because some people of the Islamic faith commit acts of terrorism. I'm sure that my hive-mind mentality isn't idiotic or counter-productive at all, and even if it is, I'll just spout "muh reading comprehension" at anyone who disagrees, just like you. Cheers!
yawn
Still bored. Try again.

Another one for the people that have been in my mentions today.
What do you lose when you kill harmful ideologies? Nothing but the harm that ideology causes.
I despise every dumb fucker who quotes Voltaire’s lil “I’ll defend your right to express atrocious ideas”. I despise every useless chucklefuck who gets pissy at the idea of anyone challenging or limiting “free speech” in any way whatsoever and then sides with the fucking FASCIST using free speech as cover to push the Overton window farther to the right - to the point where CNN was literally asking if Jews were People.
These fucking idiots are literally watching the US descend into fascism and then getting mad at leftists for daring to say that maybe some ideas SHOULD be suppressed. And they should - ESPECIALLY if the consequence of those ideas being acted on because they won in the theorectical “marketplace of ideas” is literal fucking genocide.

you can’t say violence isn’t the answer and simultaneously support the military and the police, you have to pick one.

post/145669877595 It just encourages people to do it more secretively - which is perhaps worst than it being out in the open. Out in the open, you can recognize it and know to stay the hell away from them and/or you can educate them on why they're wrong. If they're secretive, then you can't really do shit about it cause you don't know shit, and if they for some reason decide to act on it? Guess you're shit outta luck.
Push the ideology underground, and eventually, it’ll die off, but you have to keep it there. Take the KKK for example. It was rapidly declining in membership as recently as 2015. Then Donald Trump took the spotlight, and the number of chapters more than doubled. Coincidence? Or perhaps the lax hate speech policies of social media (that are finally being turned around) contributed?

actually free speech is (not everywhere, but should be) a basic human right that shouldn't be condemned just because some people get offended. Everyone is going to get offended by something, and everything will be offensive to someone, so let's cut the bullshit with this "free speech is bad" whining. Not my fault if someone is sensitive and gets offended by what I say.
It is your fault if something you say causes someone to feel unsafe, relive trauma, or otherwise be harmed by someone else. Demanding speech be unrestricted is demanding the right to harm someone.

You are truly a vile woman. I would never wish harm on someone, but with your logic, I think I can reasonably say that you deserve to have your "harmful ideologies destroyed by any means necessary."
Once again, proving my point.
Except this time, you’re boring.

Misandry is hating men. You said hate speech leads to terrorism. And you said that it's morally justified to kill would-be terrorists. Therefore, is morally okay to murder misandrists. Thank you. NewSociety agrees that we should kill radfems.
You lack reading comprehension.
Misandry is not hate speech. Misandry is a resistance to misogyny, which is a hateful ideology. Therefore, misandry is the opposite of a hateful ideology.
Go read it again and note the part that compares misogyny to terrorism.
