While shopping for her new fall wardrobe, Blair decided to check out a new boutique in Peekskill called "Katie's Korner". Blair was surprised to find out that it was owned by Katie Kanisky, who had dropped out of Hillman College to open it, and she was thrilled to find out that Katie and Jo had broken up over the summer.
Since Tootie had joined the cheerleading team, she was spending most of her free time with her teammates Rosemarie and Sam Kanisky. Natalie was happy for her pal, but since Tootie is her best friend Natalie was left alone with a lot of hours to kill in the library. Natalie was still there for her friend though and was the first to congratulate her when Tootie was chosen class valedictorian due to her high grades and school spirit.
Now that Jo was single, she started to date again. She was excited when she landed a date with the class beauty, Luciana. They went to the Meneghel Theatre for dinner and a movie, but Jo didn't really enjoy herself. And it wasn't just due to the awkwardness of sitting behind Katie and her date.
Because of the amount of assignments and research they had to do in their final semester, Jo and Blair ended up spending a lot of hours cooped up in their shared room. It was the first chance they had to bond since the end of their high school relationship.
During a late-night study break, Blair and Jo go to reminicing about old times - and confessing the attraction they both had, and still have, for each other.
There was little time to explore those feelings, their final exam was coming up. After studying together so often during Eastland and Hillman, it was a sentimental moment to be doing it for the very last time. Despite the importance of that final exam, before long they were playing around just like they did when they were kids.
During the graduation party, Jo and Blair snuck away to a private corner for one last dance before they moved back to the city. The building tension of all those years erupted into Jo and Blair's first kiss!
That wasn't the only excitement of the evening, however. Their old den mother Edna Garrett told the four girls about her plans for a new business - and presented them with a business proposition.

The Facts of Life: Family Day Special
The first day back for Senior Year at Hillman College was also family day, which meant everyone's parents were reunited for the first time since the scandalous get together back on Eastland graduation day.
The last time ended in disaster when Jo's mother, Rose, and Natalie's father, the late Dr. Green, were caught having an affair in Ms. Garrett's bed. Fortunately, the most controversy this evening was when all the fathers got into an argument over whose daughter would be picked for class valedictorian.
The girls were glad to see their families again, especially since this final year at Hillman would be their busiest yet.
The girls were glad to see their families again, especially since this final year at Hillman would be their busiest yet.
Jo's mother and her father, Charlie, were incredibly proud of Jo's new professional look as she prepped for her post-graduation career as a social worker. She was proud of her mother too, who had started a new job as a line cook.
Tootie's parents were less proud, however, when they found out Tootie was serious about her intention to pursue a show business career and that she has no desire to follow them and join the law career.
Blair's parents, Monica and David, were just proud she had stuck it out at Hillman this long, but they both expressed their wishes that she reconcile with Jonathan and call the wedding back on.
Jo had always been nervous around Blair's wealthy parents, but this time they got along wonderfully. Jo wasn't sure if it was because she was more mature, or if they were just more comfortable around her now that she'd lost her tomboy style.

The Magical Underworld pt.4
Part 1
Part 2
Part 3
Sisters Zelda and Hilda used to spend all day together, but since Zelda took that sales job at Madame Cleo's Mystic Shop she was up and out of the house bright and early and usually didn't get back until after dark.
At first Hilda enjoyed having the unsupervised free time to practice her dark arts and hang out with Trina Darga the Atrociously Evil Witch, but she soon started to grow restless and decided she needed a hobby.
So one morning she announced to the family that she had purchased a community lot in Peekskill, and was now a business owner just like Madame Cleo!
Meanwhile Sabrina was trying to keep up with her schoolwork and magical studies, but lately she had been distracted.
The business which Hilda purchased is called Hickory Dickory Clocks, a clock shop in an old converted house located in between a record shop and Edna's Edibles and across from Katie's Korner boutique. It has a large storeroom in the back and upstairs there is a public washroom for the customers, which made the new owner Hilda realize she needs to brush up on her cleaning spells. Fortunately, she doesn't have to run the clock shop alone since she was able to guilt Zelda in to leaving Cleo's and working with her.
Despite neither of them knowing anything about clocks, Zelda's sales and restocking experience and Hilda's charisma were enough to keep the shop busy with customers from open right up until closing. The great opening day ended on an unexpected and bizarre note when they received a mysterious hang up caller.
The bizzare took a turn for the terrifying later that night while everyone was sound asleep. The phone started to ring incessantly in the wee hours of the morning. Then, a vampire broke in to the Spellman family home. He walked straight up the stairs and headed directly in to Zelda's bedroom.
However, by sheer good timing, at that moment dawn broke and the vampire was forced to flee for his life!

Menudo's Story
After her traumatic firing from beloved girl group NJZ48, Yuka swore she would get her revenge somehow. After some plotting the idea came to her to revive the old boyband Menudo with new members.
During breakfest one morning in the Sallaberry family's small Timbiriche townhouse, Fernando was excitedly telling his parents about auditions being held in Nueva Juarez for a new generation of Menudo.
Fernando had always been a creative sim who loved music, so it was no surprise he was interested in the group.
His brother Nefty, however, had no such inclinations and much preferred playing video games or looking through his telescope for aliens.
Still he was always willing to go along with his brothers plans, so when Fernando asked Nefty to audition with him he couldn't say no.
After the auditions Menudo had its first generation of members. Charlie, Nefty, Joey, Fernando and Miguel. Yuka surprised Menudo with the news that they would all have to move into her house in Nueva Juarez to be close to work, and because she had an intense training and rehearsal schedule planned for the boys.
Nefty was worried about joining a boyband and moving to Nueva Juarez, especially because he had just started going steady with Sabrina Spellman from his hometown of Timbiriche and didn't want to jepordize their relationship, but she assured him he should go for it.
Leaving home and moving in with the other members was hardest for youngest member Joey, who had lived in Peekskill with his younger brother and adoptive mother Nell. She also encouraged him to go for it and reminded him how much money he could be making.
Until they started making money, however, Yuka had to find ways of cutting costs such as buying affordable costumes and rehearsing in her house instead of renting a dance studio.
Finally, they booked their first gig, performing at Magic Island Amusement Park. Despite being nervous, there was a big audience turn out and Menudo's debut performance went perfectly. From her seat in the front row Yuka could see the dollar signs and was confident she had created the group which would dethrone NJZ48.

Part Two: The Facts of Life: Hillman Stories (Freshman Year)
Part Three: The Facts of Life: Hillman Stories (Sophomore Year)
Junior year brought an increased workload, but the girls still found time to make new accquintances during study breaks. Tootie especially was making a lot of new friends now that she had joined the Hillman College cheerleading team.
Jo found a friendship that turned in to something more when she met fellow student Katie Kanisky at Stan's Marsh, a local nature spot. The pair bonded instantly and soon began dating.
Meanwhile Blair was still figuring out how to break off her engagement to Jonathan. She found her chance on a date to Cafe de Ballsack when a unsavory charlatan swindled Jonathan out of his engagement ring.
She accused him of being careless and stupid, and said she could never marry someone like that.
But Jonathan shot back that Blair was just using the lost ring as an excuse because she's still in love with someone else, and that if she wanted to call of their engagement it was fine with him.
Blair was rushed home to share the news with Jo, but when she got there she discovered Jo was introducing the family to her new girlfriend Katie Kanisky!
Blair tried to smile through her feelings of betrayal. She couldn't imagine what Jo saw in Katie.
All of a sudden, Jo started spending all her freetime with Katie and Katie's friends instead of Blair, Natalie and Tootie.
When the end of Junior year came the girls had to celebrate without Jo. They spent the whole day together and had a great time, but Blair couldn't help but miss her friend.

The ranking results from their last single were in, and these were the six members selected by fans to record the next single! Yukiko was predicted to win but took 2nd place to group leader Rena who proved she was still the fan favourite. Ayuka came in 3rd and Misaki came in 4th. It was a surprise to everyone that new member Kei ranked 5th, especially to Kei herself. Yuka came in 6th. Being a first generation member she expected to rank in the top 3, but she was happy she at least made the line up - unlike Rumi.
Rumi ranked 7th, just narrowly missing out on making the cut. Ally ranked 8th and Sally came 9th. The bottom three slots were filled by Elena, Riko and Manami who came in last. These 6 members would be recording the b-side, and Rumi would be the lead vocalist. But Rumi wasn't happy being the biggest fish in a small pond, and intended to do something about it.
Rumi met anonymously with one of the managers of NJZ48 and gave them the pictures she had taken of Yuka with Hidemi. She also informed them that the reason Yuka had been missing theatre performances was because she was out on dates.
Yuka was summoned to an emergency meeting at Nueva Juarez Studios office where she was confronted with the accusation. She tried to deny it, but confronted with the photo evidence, it was obvious Yuka had violated the 48 group rules.
And as a result, Yuka was officially fired from NJZ48!
Yuka didn't know that Rumi was also at the NJS office that morning…
To be offered Yuka's position in the upcoming single!
As Rumi was leaving, she found Yuka and offered her condolences. But Yuka put two and two together and realized Rumi must be involved in getting her fired.
Rumi admitted what she had done and Yuka tried to attack her, but Rumi easily showed her that she wasn't going to be pushed around anymore.

Ralph's Story
Growing up, Ralph Macchio loved watching movies. He was fascinated by the way actors were able to make stories and characters come to life and knew he wanted to do the same thing one day. After he graduated from high school, he started going on auditions and landed his first job as a voice actor in a cartoon. He found an apartment in Nueva Juarez and hit it off well with his roommate. But when the relationship soured, Ralph had to find other arrangements.
He answered an ad in the newspaper which advertised a room for rent in a shop. The store was called "Mister Miyagi's Litte Trees", located downtown in the same neighborhood as most of the film and television studios.
Ralph hit it off with Mr. Miyagi right away. Mr. Miyagi used to be an apartment manager in Timbiriche. He had only recently moved to Nueva Juarez and opened Mister Miyagi's Little Trees and was still getting the business on its feet.
In exchange for the room, Ralph helped out and worked part-time in the bonsai tree shop.
He was still working as a cartoon voice actor and going out on auditions, so Ralph often had to double task and memorize scripts while working in the shop.
Mr. Miyagi was raised on Takamizu Island, and told Ralph a lot of a stories about life in his home land.
He also taught Ralph about the culture and traditions of Takemizuians.
Work started to pick up for Ralph, he landed a few commercials and even some small bit parts in TV shows. He began making new friends who were also in the industry, such as Johnny Lozada who was a morning talk show host for "Wake Up, Timbiriche!". Johnny had been in a boy band as a teenager, and Ralph remembered seeing him on TV a lot back then. Now they were hanging out and going to the Wedgewood strip club together.
It was on one of these excursions that he met Ellen, an exotic dancer.
The two started dating, and when Ellen found out Ralph had never been to Magic Island Amusement Park she insisted they go together.

NJZ48's Story -Chapter 8-
-Chapter 1-
-Chapter 2-
-Chapter 3-
-Chapter 4-
-Chapter 5-
-Chapter 6-
-Chapter 7-
During a performance of the Goddess of the Theatre setlist which was supposed to be the NJZ48 Theatre debut of the 5th generation members, there was two empty spots on stage. 1st generation member Yuka had booked the night off for a "business meeting" (which was actually a date with her secret boyfriend Hidemi).
The other empty spot belonged to 5th gen member Manami Ogu! She had changed her hairstyle without management permission, which was against 48 Group rules. As a result, she had been put on brief suspension and had to miss her debut show.
All of the members were present to shoot the cover art and music video for their fourth single "Summer Love Sounds Good!", a cover of the JKT48 song by the same name. Once that was finished, the NJZ48 members would be off doing all the usual promotional work.
They made TV appearances to promote the single, such as this performance by Rena, Rumi, Misaki, Yuka and Yukiko on the popular KidzTube show "Xuxa Park".
The fifth gen members Riko, Kei, Elena and Manami performed a free mini-concert at the Live Stage in Magic Island Amusement Park.
And once the single was released NJZ48 members made appearances at record stores to sign CD's and greet fans. Sally, Yuka and Ally stopped by New & Used Records located in Peekskill.
During promotion for the single, Kei (who had been having a hard time making friends in the group) formed a tight bonded with fellow 5th gen member Manami Ogu, who was also having issues adapting to life in the group. The pair became close friends, although most of their conversations revolved around complaining about the struggles they were going through in NJZ48.
The house was packed and all 12 members were together on stage in the NJZ48 Theatre for a performance of their "Goddess of the Theatre" set list. This was no ordinary night, however, because once the show was over the ranking results would be announced and they would find out which 6 members had won the fan vote to record NJZ48's next single.

History of Timbiriche: The War
No pictures, just a little (long) ramble.
I've lost all my sim data twice to computer crashes, once in 2013 and again in 2015. Both times I've kept some city/town names the same and rebuilt some families and lots but not others which creates an atmosphere that has a post-war or post-disaster feel. Natural disasters aren't a thing in Sims 2, BUT the army is a career path. And why would the sims have an army if there are no wars? So, Timbiriche has been through two wars.
Between my last game and my current game the war plays the largest role, being an element in many sims stories either because they lost relatives to the war or they are returning citizens who left because of the war. There isn't a cohesive story to what exactly "the war" entailed, but there was precedence for it in my previous sims game…
In my previous game, just for funsies in my main town of Juarez I had built a massive concentration camp where I was working sims to death and torturing child sims until they were rescued by the social worker. These sims were either sims I made myself and got tired of, or NPC's which I added to a family and then moved to the camp. There they would be made to wear grey pajamas and bald heads and exercise, swim or garden until they died from exhaustion or starvation. By the time my game crashed, there was over 50 graves on the lot. It was all in good fun.
But not without consequence. According to Timbiriche lore, Juarez was heavily bombed during the war with very few original buildings left standing aside from some old houses on the outskirts of the city. In central downtown is a public war memorial. No longer a town, Nueva Juarez is a downtown location showing how much it has changed over the years. Story wise, the war occurred approximately 15 years prior. In my previous game, I had a Xuxa Meneghel sim who was modelled after her 80's appearance whereas current Xuxa is modelled after her appearance in 00's. I had Johnny and Xavier sims who were teenagers and they have been remade as adults. Some sims who are teenagers, such as Natalie from my Facts of Life story, are war orphans.
Currently, none of my sims are in the Army career path so it could be said that Timbiriche doesn't have a military, perhaps a condition of surrender. However, they do have tensions with the magical sims so if my game did crash and I had to remake (God forbid) I think that would be the story line I follow.

The History of Timbiriche: Nueva Juarez (pt. 1)
Nueva Juarez total population: 90 sims, 46 families.
This is the oldest part of Nueva Juarez, known as "Old Juarez", this section of the city contains the few remaining structures that were not destroyed in the war.
The large black house is the home of Julien Cooke. Beside it to the left is a cemetery. Across the street the purple house is now a fortune telling business owned by Cleo, also a pre-war building. The rest of the buildings are post-war residences and businesses. Across the street to the left of Cleo's Fortune Telling business is an art museum and The Pizza Bowl, beside it to the right is a house currently being rented by the members of NJZ48 and a film/photography studio which is a low budget alternative to Xuxa Productions Studio and Nueva Juarez Studios.
This street contains mostly townhouses and apartments, although to the far right is a white house with a grey roof known as Rosebush Manor. This pre-war house is now an underground party scene containing a lot of orgy rugs, stripper poles, sparkling juice bars and plenty of bubble blowing machines. The building at the corner is Lucky Shack Cards & Drink, a popular blue collar bar, and above it is the Nueva Juarez Fire Station.
Notable residents of this neighbourhood: all NJZ48 active members, Xavier & Johnny, Mary-Kate Olsen.
Further up the street is mostly apartments, although the grey and black building beside the white apartment is P3 (formerly Quake), a nightclub and performance venue owned by Timbiriche resident Piper Halliwell.
Notable residents of this neighbourhood: Cleo, Erin Momsen, Channel Robinson (Nueva Juarez's first transwoman), Terri Shields (mother of Brooke), Melissa Aznario (daughter of Mayor Aznario and black sheep of the family).
At the end of the street is a bridge and subway line leading out of the city. At the bottom of the hill is Shotz Stadium, still containing the stage from when NJZ48 recently performed their second concert there. At the top of the hill is the neighbourhood known as Bronx Street.
This neighbourhood is mostly home to low income families, although it also includes the salon business "Curl Up and Dye".
Notable residents: Snoop Dog, the Half-Baked household, Rose Polniaczek (Jo's mother), Damian Cross (friend of Jo and member of the YUNG DIABLO§ street gang), and leader of the YUNG DIABLO§ and notorious criminal, Tyrone Marshall (+ wife & baby).
A more upscale part of the neighbourhood. This includes a McDonalds restaurant and Temple Subway Station, named in honour of the former child actress who participated in the ribbon cutting ceremony for the subway station. I used to have a Shirley Temple sim in Timbiriche who I had to delete after my latest game bug corrupted all the children sims.
Notable residents of this neighbourhood: actress Kyla Pratt, Frank DeFazio (owner of the Pizza Bowl), Kiyoni Brown, the parents of Tootie Ramsey.
Up the street we make our way in to the downtown core. Notable businesses in this area are the wedding chapel (white building on the left with a large parking lot) and the Xuxa Productions Office (the pyramid shaped tall building to the right).
An overview of downtown Nueva Juarez. The lot with a pond is Central Park, the only park in Nueva Juarez and a popular outing destination. Across the street above it is a Hot Topic and H&M, across the street to the left is Cold Issue Clothing and beside that is The Row, a boutique owned by my Olsen Twin sims. Across from it is a nightclub and Sabon Spa, named for the Sabon bath products which I love but can never afford lol.
More businesses. The large building bottom right is city hall, base of operations for Mayor Aznario. Beside it to the left is the police station and the wedding chapel, across the street above it is a shopping centre and a casino/restaurant/nightclub. Across the street to the left is the Meneghel Theatre, above it is Bella Noche's nightclub. Down the street is the Bumstead Arms apartment and two resturants, and behind it is a large condo.
Notable residents of this neighbourhood: Yuko Sugamoto (ex-NJZ48), Geri Warner (comedienne and member of the wealthy Warner family), actor Zack Bryan and Mitzi Green, mother of Natalie.
Part 2 coming soon!

The History of Timbiriche: Las Barrio
Las Barrio Population: 0
Rumours about Las Barrio abound in Timbiriche. In the immediate post-war years, there was a boom in new businesses and residences being built to jump start the economy. Previously a small slum town, after the war many investors such as Julien Cooke and Xuxa Meneghel saw the potential for Las Barrio to become the new entertainment district of Timbiriche. Casinos, restaurants, a theatre, luxury condos and even a police station quickly sprung up. During the excavation for a shopping mall, a mysterious nuclear device was unearthed and Mayor Aznario ordered an immediate evacuation of the area.
Not knowing what the object was but fearful it could explode or cause mutations, Mayor Aznario simply put up blockades on all roads leading to Las Barrio and ordered the Las Barrio Train Station, seen here, to be permanently closed. He declared the area off limits to all citizens and henceforth refused to acknowledge it as an official territory of Timbiriche. As a result, its existence is a mystery which fascinates many sims and has lead to a lot of urban legends.
The hasty evacuation meant that the buildings have all been left abandoned. As an immediate result of the forced closure of all business in Las Barrio, the business owners had to relocate and Nueva Juarez saw a surge in business and retailers opening which resulted in it becoming the metropolitan city it is today.
Most of the buildings have begun to deteriorate. Some citizens claim this is proof that the unearthed object is a nuclear warhead, and its radiation is damaging the surrounding buildings. Others claim that Las Barrio has simply become a looters paradise, with the buildings being stripped of anything of value by sims who are daring enough to enter the no mans land. A small, fringe group of sims swears by the conspiracy that the mysterious object is actually an alien spaceship, and that the aliens are now living among the ruins of Las Barrio in a secret society.
The unearthed mystery object in question.
