He doesn't speak rudely, but uses words intelligently and with consideration for others.

He is considered by many girls to be "so ordinary that only I would notice him, but if you look closely, isn't he... very handsome?" (<- comment from character designer wada arco!)

Stricter than Female!Hakuno (who is more free-spirited), but is weak to the person he likes.

Female!Hakuno:

She doesn't speak in a flippant manner, but speaks objectively and coolly, not swayed by emotion.

Although she is cute, she can't make it as an idol. After all her expression is dull and she doesn't look very friendly... (<- comment from character designer wada arco!)

More aloof than Male!Hakuno (who is friendlier), but is sweet to the person she likes.

minor retcon(?)! in that hakuno will be using honorifics from now on!! it's pretty inconsistent across the games and manga and sound drama - especially bc some translations omit them entirely - but i think hakuno's appellations in fgo make the most sense for me 🫡 so far, the way i understand it is:

hakuno is generally polite! the -san honorific is added to the name that is given to her ("aoko-san", "mash-san", "xufu-san", "kiara-san"). still on the fence if it's specifically last name or first name though 🤔

the honorific is dropped when she gets closer to someone (male!hakuno eventually drops the honorific with guda which is Very Cute 2 me. also why i wanted to start having her using it teehee)

antagonistic relations are referred to by last name only. (fem!hakuno calls sessyoin kiara "kiara-san" in the casual my room line but "sessyoin" in the noble phantasm line; male!hakuno calls twice "pieceman")

there can be some special ones! male!hakuno calls andersen "hans-sensei" and after summoning, fem!hakuno calls guda "master-kun" (bc of their senpai-kouhai dynamic..... 🥹🫶)
