Tua show is wasted potential and wasted potential alone. It could be so much mooore and that's what attracts fans (attracted me) but it was executed so fucking badly that you would think a rather talentless highschool group filmed it as their project

I could not agree even more. I feel as if I'm so in love with the concept of the show to just, i guess, justify how bad the writing is? because like the writing.. oh god the writing.. it's absolutely horrendous.

I watched the show when it first came out and if i recall I literally left after 2 episodes because of how bored and confused I was.. and when I rewatched the show I was also really bored but liked the concept so much that I continued watching.

All in all, it just dragged on and on for what some say 'plot' but it's not even understandable at times..

It's kinda embarrassing to like the show.

The more discourse I hear about The Umbrella Academy the more I think I'm personally growing to hate the show.

I mean, look, I basically left my "I'm gonna post every thought I have about TUA" new years resolution behind and it's only February. I feel like my thoughts are so negative about TUA now. maybe I'll post more when season 4 actually comes out but for now... I just cannot! It's frustrating.

I started off this whole thing thinking it was gonna be fun but now its just all jumbled opinions i can't get out. I want to say more, but it's currently 5:30 am here and my brain is so jumbled.

im lacking in this new years resolution (i just noticed i said revolution) because my friend kept telling me how bad umbrella academy is when we were watching it together and i havent been more sadder since.

i mean it would've been okay if she said it once while we we're watching it but she just kept repeating "oh my god this is so bad" in a whiny tone and like i tried so hard not to cry because of how i have such a big attachment to it lolololol

i promise ill get over it soon
