India: Countries and Sound Series
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Disclaimer: the point of view I will give is merely the astrological point of view, not my personal perspective, likes and dislikes. Astrology is light and is above petty, ambitious, business-minded and biased agendas of some media. Also, I will not analyze the countries’ birth charts in this series as it would be too long. I might refer to them a little bit sometimes only.
🤔What is it all about? How do we analyze the sounds in Jyotish? Why? See intro here.
Now, we have to face a dilemma: what name to use? Indeed, this country has two official names: India and Bharat. This is stated in the constitution. The same goes for the language: which language to use? Hindi and English are said to be the official languages, according to the constitution and the Official Languages Act. Still, the situation is unclear. As the question remains, I will have no choice but to talk about these two major names for this country. So we have India: Krittika pada 2 and Bharat: Mula pada 3.
Krittika: A Rising Multifaceted Empire
🔥War, conquests: Krittika is known for being a nakshatra initiating wars and conquests. In short, Bharat spread throughout South East Asia. It also spread to the North West, even though these facts are controversial across academia. But India also had been invaded, looted and conquered by Islamic conquests and later on by the British Empire. Not to mention the constant rivalry between princes and the famous resistance lead by the Marathas. Many great empires rose and fell there. 🔥Divisions: Krittika cuts and divides. India is a highly diverse country. Many cultures and many religions flourish there. Not to mention the caste system, which is particular to India. The "caste", and "jati" systems developed different lifestyles and rituals according to these social and professional divisions of society. Then, foreign invasions made things more complicated and obscure. The British used it to their advantage: divide to conquer and control. Today, this system is still used to win in politics. Caste remains an essential part of the Indian identity.
🔥Languages: Agni is the ruler of Krittika. He is the messenger of the demigods and the mortals. He also possesses 7 tongues. In India, there are at least 1000 languages/dialects spoken. People are usually multilingual. Unfortunately, it sometimes leads to conflicts, such as the anti-Hindi agitations in Tamil Nadu as an example. The debate about an official single lingua franca is still open and leads to quarrels. 🔥Inventions, knowledge: Krittika is knowledge and innovation too. India has brought knowledge in many fields, such as science, astronomy and mathematics since the dawn of time. They are recorded in books, such as the Surya Siddhanta as an example. Some great mathematicians emerged there such as Brahmagupta and Aryabhata who developed the concept of zero. From India, the concept of zero spread throughout the world. This is just one example amongst many others. Additionally, there are countless examples of scientific inventions made in modern India, such as the CNSR, a reactor which operates under natural sunlight to produce hydrogen. Again, it is impossible to list them all. Tumblr would not let me do so.😉 🔥Fire: Krittika is Agni, the fire. Fire is an essential element in Indian culture, since the Vedic times. Many rituals use the fire, such as the ancient yagna, the Agnihotra, the homa etc. Cremation is also largely practiced. 🔥Swords, blades: Krittika is also about blades and knives. Unusual weapons had been used in ancient India up until the modern age. For example, we find the katar, a punch dagger, used by noblemen and princes in Ancient India, the pata sword used mostly by the professional warriors and the Marathas or the strange urumi whip sword made up of several flexible blades. Interestingly enough, the Sikhs are known to wear the kirpan, a type of dagger, as part of their religious uniform.
🔥Krittika pada 2 sits in Taurus. It emphasizes accumulation of wealth, food, and family lineages. India has always been known abroad for its spices. But you can also find coal, iron, gemstones including diamonds. But the moon reaching its exaltation point here shows pursuits of love and romance. It is highly seen through "Bollywood" movies and other Indian TV shows where love stories are central and strongly dramatized. In D9, it falls in Capricorn, showing ambition, a knack for engineering and attachment to the past.
Mula: The Center of Cosmic Spirituality
🌌Center of the world: Bharat is often considered as the center of spirituality. It is seen as the source of spiritual sciences through the Vedas, Puranas and many other traditional texts. Some think it will give spiritual salvation to humanity in the future. 🌌Unusual spirituality, gurus, yogis: Bharat is the cradle of Hinduism/Sanatan Dharma, the most ancient religion in the world still being practiced today. It makes Bharat otherworldly. We can also mention the gurus, the aghoris and other yogis with superpowers. Mula is the center of the galaxy, it lies outside of our Solar system, which makes Mula hard to comprehend for us, earthly beings. 🌌Religions, atheism: many religions coexist in Bharat: Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Christianity, Islam, Judaism... The power of the faith remains strong despite a growing atheism. In Hinduism, we can find atheist philosophies rejecting God's existence such as Nyaya and Charvaka philosophies. Mula is a preaching religious nakshatra but it also incarnates the void, hence the rejection of God.
🌌Purity: purity is a deeply rooted notion in the Indian culture but it is sadly often misunderstood. The best example is found in the caste system. But we can also find this need to purify and go back to the roots in linguistics through movements such as the "Pure Tamil Movement", "Meitei Linguistic Purism Movement" etc. Mula is all about going back to the roots and cleanse everything. 🌌Ayurveda: Ayurveda is the traditional medicine of India. It is a holistic medicine that uses herbs, nutrition, movements, massage. Mula is all about medicinal herbs and natural medicine. 🌌Family lineage: Mula likes to go back to the roots, including the genetic roots. Family lineage is very important in Bharat. Ancestors are worshiped during 16 days during Pitru Paksha every year. The alive members carry a part of their karmas and the ancestors also help them in return, something we can see in astrology too.
🌌Mula pada 3 falls in Gemini. It shows knowledge, information, conversations, communication, trade but also flirtations, again.😏
Next, we will see Spain 🇪🇸.
Previously, we saw Russia 🇷🇺, and China 🇨🇳, as well as the US 🇺🇸 before that. If there is a country you would like to hear about, please comment below. 🤗

Exaltation Series: Venus in Revati
Tumblr media
An exalted planet means this planet has reached the higher point in its own sky. There, the planet feels free to unleash its power for better... Or worse. The sign where the planet is exalted allows the planet to flourish, as well as the nakshatra where the exaltation degree falls.
Venus Exalted in Revati
Venus gets exalted in 27° Pisces, that is to say, in Revati nakshatra (Revati: 16°40 Pisces to 29°60 Pisces). Like the diamond, Venus is a multifaceted planet. She offers different levels of evolution: from the material level of Taurus to the artistic Libra, to the spiritual higher peak: Pisces. The latter level is the most difficult to comprehend. Here, Venus shows her full universal love in Revati. This unconditional love is the purest of all, it shines like the planet herself in the sky. This love is for every living being. There is no more discrimination, no more boundaries. Venus's loving emotions thrive in this prosperous, caring sign. This universal love multiplied by Revati seems insane from a Mercurian Virgo rational logic, which sits at the opposite of the axis. This spiritual perspective made of love and devotion is only grasped by a few people, who will be called saints. They are able to guide other souls because it is also Revati, the lighthouse for the lost ships at night. This fantastic love erases all fear and bondage: moksha or liberation from birth-death cycle is attained. Venus is also about liberation from this cycle. Hence the natives are usually fascinated by death. They can be found working in geriatric areas, helping the elders. Venus in Revati, as well as Revati in general, touches the other world. That is why many Revati natives have psychic abilities, depending on the rest of the chart. If not, at best, they have a great glittery artistic sense. At worst, they dive into addictions, mostly alcohol. Venus's love is so intense that it becomes intoxicating. When the ordinary human beings born under Venus in Revati, whose minds are full of this intense beauty meets the gray and restrained reality, the natives become disillusioned. The natives persist to find their ideal here on Earth but it is not there. They take many paths, retrace their steps, take dangerous roads. Love relationships suffer here because these natives expect magical love. When the Revati Venus or Revati natives become disappointed in love, it is the sign they are on the right path to God and blissful love. But instead, they persist in thinking that it exists on this plane and unconsciously reject the heavens, leading them to depression, sadness, alcohol. This is the wrong path. The challenge here is to follow the road of spirituality because the ultimate goal in life is not to marry Prince Charming, win golden medals, and get a luxury car, but to come back to God, our original source. Whether afflicted or not, if the Revati natives fully understand that, they will become even more prosperous and they will be at peace with themselves and reality.

Who Are You? Where To Find Yourself in a Chart. Part 1.
Tumblr media
We know how important it is to know ourselves. Last time, I gave you here a list of the main indicators but the aim was to find your Lunar sign, or your core nakshatra. Here, we go deeper into the layers of our minds.
After that, in my next post, I will recap the divisional charts that will help you delve deeper.
The List of the Indicators
Moon: This is a crucial planet to look at. In India, it is generally considered to be your birth nakshatra. The Moon defines your Vimshottari Dasha, or future, as soon as you were born. She shows your psychological and biological karma, your mind and the way you move in society. The Moon indicates your emotions, desires and past life experiences as well. These experiences will still reflect in your behavior today. These experiences, emotions, thoughts come and go like the waves of the sea.
Ascendant/Rising Sign (Lagna): It shows how you integrate yourself with society but in a physical way. In other words, it shows how you present yourself and how your life's environment looks like. BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, IT SHOWS WHERE YOU FOCUS. Any planet situated in your first house (using the whole sign system), will sit permanently in your head.
Sun: It is a significant planet as it is your battery. How can you live without energy? How can you live without the Sun?... It is impossible. Here, the Sun represents your vitality, your health, your spiritual development and your righteous actions.
The Ascendant Lord (or Lagna Lord/LL or Lagnesha): It shows the same things as the ascendant but in a more active way. It shows how you get nourishment, your passion in life. It also shows where you focus. The Lagna Lord indicates where your intelligence is best applied and what kind of situations you deal with since early age.
Dharma Lord: It is not commonly used but from my experience, it works wonderfully. It is the planet which is related to your lagna nakshatra (e.g, if your lagna is in Purva Ashadha, then, Venus becomes your Dharma Lord). This planet becomes the Lord of your dharma or righteous duty. It shows you the path and the challenges you will encounter, as well as the solutions to them.
Atmakaraka (AK): The Atmakaraka is the significator of your soul. It is the planet with the highest degree in your chart. It represents your difficult karmas to burn and how to deal with them. This karma trash resonates with the nature of your AK planet, therefore, you will behave the opposite way to how this planet is supposed to behave in the end. It also shows your potential, what is important for you and how you realize yourself.
Ketu: Ketu denotes your past life experiences, like the Moon but unlike her, Ketu does not behave like the sea waves, but it actually behaves like a place where you stock your former behavioral patterns and experiences. It can be compared to your subconscious. It represents our true, hidden, nature but we are mostly unaware of it. It is also the place where we get bored because we had experienced these areas too much before, hence Ketu being called as “comfort zone” even though, it is not always very comfortable due to being boring. This boredom will attract you to Rahu, its opposite polarity, the unknown, exciting jungle.
Mahadasha Lord: Using the Vimshottari dasha, your current Maha Dasha Lord, which rules your current period of life, will impact your mind and behavior. It will not last for ever but it stays there for a couple of years, so, you cannot neglect it.
The first syllable of your first name: Don't forget your first name! The two first sounds of your name corresponds to a particular nakshatra. Even if there is no planet sitting there in your birth chart, this nakshatra will also influence your behavior and life. Themes of this nakshatra will definitely play out in your life.
The secondary indicators
Mercury: Mercury is the planet of rationality. It is your rational intellect. It shows how you manage your daily routine challenges in life, as well as other practical knowledge. It shows the way you learn, and the way you express yourself.
Rahu: Rahu shows your biggest obsessions. It represents your most intense desires. It is actually about illusory desires because once they are fulfilled, you still want more. It is a place where you are always unsatisfied, hence frustration. You might get so annoyed that you totally give up on your Rahu, which leads you automatically to your Ketu, and you stay there. But Ketu, even though it is comfortable, you end up getting bored, and in the end, you go back to your Rahu. It is the endless cycle of the nodes, which were initially one body (Svarbhanu): one cannot leave the other. Rahu also represents the unknown fields for you, which also lead to fears. As it represents the unknown, you are quite new to what Rahu represents in your chart, hence you are likely to act awkwardly there.
Arudha Lagna: It represents the appearance made by the Maya, the material illusion of our environment. This is the appearance that all strangers will see from you at first. It is your image, e.g, your image on the social media, your reputation in general... This appearance is all made up: it is rarely linked to your true self. But it explains why people behave a certain way with you and not another. The Lord of this lagna should be taken into account too.
Aries: This sign represents the first house in the original kaal purush kundli. The house it occupies, the planets that sit and aspect there will remain in your head. In other words, you will also focus on them.
Cancer, the Fourth house: They both represent the peace of mind, your privacy, and most importantly, your heart. What does your heart desire? The house Cancer occupies, any planet sitting, aspecting Cancer and the fourth house will show you what.

Sun in Shatabhisha
Tumblr media
Sun in Shatabhisha: You are unique. Your deep analytical sense makes you perceive things that most people do not see. You would like to change the flaws of society or heal the root cause of the illness. You find unconventional ways to do so. Your charisma helps you attain your goals. However, you may feel torn apart between the desire for unconventional freedom and respect to traditions. No matter what happens, trust your inner center, your principles and stick to them. Because you are strong and invincible in reality. Your health: You may appear to have an overall good health but you sometimes may have health issues that a single conventional doctor can hardly diagnose. You may find more relief with alternative, natural and traditional medicines. Beware of cold weather and treat your anxiety through what makes you alive (your source of energy, see below). Your principles: You have high ideals. You feel close to the outcasts, lower social classes and the downtrodden. You may stand up for them or you are more spiritually inclined and defend new spiritual perceptions or discoveries. Your principles are your center: stick to them and you will remain firm and steady. Your source of energy: The sea, the night, the milky way, the oppressed, solitude, herbs, medicine, science, psychology, astrology, spirituality, shamanism, dreams, foreign lands, revolution...

Russia: Countries and Sound Series
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Disclaimer: the point of view I will give is merely the astrological point of view, not my personal perspective, likes and dislikes. Astrology is light and is above petty, ambitious, business-minded and biased agendas of some media. Also, I will not analyze the countries’ birth charts in this series as it would be too long. I might refer to them a little bit sometimes only.
🤔What is it all about? How do we analyze the sounds in Jyotish? Why? See intro here. In Russian, Russia/Россия, as well as the entire official name (Российская Федерация) starts with "Ro" which is pronounced as "Ra", not the Sanskrit "Ro". "Ra" sound corresponds to Chitra pada 3.
Chitra: The Dazzling Pearl in the Dark
🦪Pictures, colors, craftsmanship: The Russian traditional art is quite famous. Colorful, repeated, folk handicraft patterns are usually seen in their art. You can find them on textiles, wooden household items, metal trays (the rushnik, kokhloma, zhostovo paintings...), and even on traditional izba's walls. It can be also found on the famous matrioshka doll with their endless drawings. The religious orthodox icons are widely spread in Russian churches, as well as mosaics sometimes. Churches' roofs and walls are still colorful today, like in the Middle Ages unlike in Western Europe where cathedrals' and churches' colors faded away. There is a knack for visual details. Chitra means "picture" and is fond of colors. Chitra natives appreciate details and colors' balance.
🦪Architecture, cities: Russia is not only famous through its art, but also through its architecture. Its architecture blends the Eastern and Western influences, most notably through the churches and palaces. The Russian revival architecture, the Neo-Byzantine style can be cited as an example. But inventions had been made in masonry too (cast iron cupolas, rebars). Unique constructions took place as well, such as the ice palace, the amber room in the Palace of Tsarskoye selo. A lot of cities had been built too such as St Petersburg, and a lot of others in Ural region, Siberia, the Far East (Vladivostok and even Harbin). Tvashta, the ruler of Chitra is called the celestial architect. He is the creator of forms.
🦪Knowledge, inventions, crafts: Russia is not so known for its inventions and scientific knowledge, the USSR being more famous for it. Yet the list is long: law of mass conservation, hypothesis on Venus' atmosphere (Venus ruling Libra where Chitra is partially situated is interesting to note), off-axis reflecting telescope, electric lamp, railway electrification system, AC transformer, the electric telegraph, naval mines, armored cruiser, the electric submarine. Spica is the main star of Chitra and represents knowledge. Tvashta is the creator of forms and he is also known for creating weapons.
🦪The Russian Soul: The uniqueness of the Russian identity is called as "the Russian Soul": it is a concept which describes the Russian core as mysterious, intangible, full of emotions and nostalgia that you will find nowhere else. This uniqueness is expressed through the arts, such as literature and music. Russian literature is famous worldwide. Chitra's goal is to express its own soul through senses, then, tools. If Chitra uses tools to show its authenticity, then, its creations will become unforgettable. Who can forget about Dostoievsky?
🦪The Painful transformation: Chitra is the pearl, which is born out of irritation and pain. Russia underwent many difficult transformations, such as under Peter I, the coming of USSR, and perestroyka. Not to mention the fate of the White Russians throughout the world. 🦪The unpredictable conquest: Chitra's animal is the tiger. The tiger is a powerful, muscular, nocturnal feline who scared entire generations of humans. They usually attack by surprise. Russia surprisingly conquered territories and defeated powerful enemies, such as the Mongol Golden Horde, the Ottomans, Napoleon, the Nazis. 🦪Revenge, the precious resources: Tvashta was also the guardian of soma, the nectar of immortality. That is why he had problems with Indra, always thirsty for it. In short, Indra stole it and killed his son. Infuriated, Tvashta created a monster, Vrtrasura in revenge. Indra ended up killing the monster thanks to his allies with great difficulty. Russia is a fertile land full of enormous natural resources. Interestingly enough, the worst enemy of Russia is the U.S.A, whose name starts with Jyeshtha's sound: Indra is the ruler of this nakshatra. But the UK also shares the same sound. The UK rarely had friendly relations with Russia, the reason being still the same: controlling the resources. 🦪Lastly, it is interesting to note that this sound corresponds to the pada 3. Chitra's pada 3 falls in Libra again: Libra is much more concerned with beauty and art. But also toughness as Saturn is exalted in this sign. Libra's qualities are doubled here. There is a need for harmony with others but it is hard to attain it as Chitra is about inner struggle, transformation, and external fights: Mars is related to this nakshatra.
Next, we will see India 🇮🇳. And Spain 🇪🇸 after that.
Previously, we saw China 🇨🇳. And the US 🇺🇸 before that. If there is a country you would like to hear about, please comment below. 🤗

Moola - The Roots and the Void
Tumblr media
Degrees: 0°00 Sagittarius to 13°20 Sagittarius Deities: Nirriti, Goddess of calamity; Alakshmi, Goddess of hardships; Kali, Goddess of dissolution. Vimshottari Lord: Ketu (South Node of the Moon) Sounds: ये ye, यो yo, भा bha, भी bhi The core meaning: Your life revolves around the roots and the void. On one hand, you sometimes feel restrained and entangled in thick roots; you try to escape and you dream of freedom but the knots of circumstances do not allow you to. On the other hand, everything falls apart and disappears into the dark void: you feel lost and confused. Does it mean there is nothing you can do about it? Well, Moola's secret lies in your roots: the more you strengthen them, the stronger you become; dive deep into everything you are interested in because the roots are your superpower. Then, the void will not impact you any more. Qualities: assertive, righteous, innovative, determined, learned, courageous, unconventional, responsible, stable. Affliction: stubborn, fearful, secretive, ashamed, angry, stingy, self-destructive, selfish. Interest in astronomy, psychology, research, politics, medicine (herbalism).

Hey Idk how to reply inbox reply , but you can public it , I have no issues, I just wanted to learn some astrology through you (since you said any enlightening question for your followers will do) and gain some insights.
So my first question is How does Saturn Retrograde affect a native ? For example my Saturn Retrograde Ardra nakshatra is in 1st house, and my reputation is often quite the opposite of my personal life. Especially very much related to assaults and child abuse, with Mercury in Moola nakshatra being looked directly by Saturn opposing it. Mercury the childlike planet is already debilitated in 7th house of relationships (according to how much I know about astrology), so saturn opposing it causes a lot of child abuse in relationship sector type problems. I do have a Mercury Venus conjuction but no Laxmi Narayan yog with Venus being in Purva Ashadha
My Moon in Ashwini in conjuct to Rahu in Bharani.
Rahu in Bharani covers a lot of my major life themes of fighting against assaulters. Moon in Ashwini makes me impulsive and thoughtless and detached.
My second question was if Moon Rahu conjuction forms a Shakti yog? Just a curious question, since my moon rahu is (as you would have already figured out, asc is gemini, moon is in Aries so it is) in 11th house and Shakti yog is said to be associated with 5th house and 11th house
My Atmakaraka is.... drumrolll
PURVA BHADRAPADA Mars
Talk about the dramatic Lion Yoni, walking through different spirit realms is a major theme of my life. Believe it or not, I have experienced major psychological changes after my lesser known yet deeply impactful spiritual awakenings.
My natural Atmakaraka or Sun is in Jyeshtha Nakshatra
Idk my Arudha Lagna cause my janma lagna Gemini's lord Mercury is in 7th house, 7 houses away from my Janma Lagna, so I read it on the internet we need to add 10 houses to it since, 1st house and 7th house can't be considered as Arudha Lagna as 7 houses away from my Lagnesh (Mercury) will lead me back to Gemini which is 1st house, so I heard that there was a rule where we need to add 10 houses maybe to find Arudha Lagna, and after doing that math
my Arudha Lagna would be Pisces. 🤷🏼🤷🏼
Hello time-traveller-archives,
🇷 Retrogradation gives the planet a lot of intensity. The planet gets stronger. Natives have to go through things again and again in relation to the karakas of this planet. Shani/Saturn's karakas (significators) are delays, frustration, hurdles, restrictions. The house and what Shani represents in your chart becomes central in your life. Shani is also in a MKS state (Marana Karaka Sthana). It is choking there. His qualities of patience diminish. It shows up as low tolerance to frustration and impatience. The tendency to move away from society gets even stronger. Ardra doubles it. Mistrust of other people is there as well as rejection, doubled by this particular placement. Shani is the Lord of the 8th and 9th house: transformation, ups and downs, sudden changes, sudden breaks, traumas are central as well as dharma, spirituality, father, teachers. All of these themes are central in your life, and you have to go through them again and again. Plus, add the stormy Ardra's flavor to it... 🫣 Reputation is also important for you because Shani is in the 1st house as well as everything signified by the 1st house: decision making process, health. ♓ Your Arudha Lagna being in Pisces just repeats your Lagna as it is aspected by the same planets (by rashi drishti too). Pisces reveals in 10th house of karma some struggle too. Then, look at your Jupiter for more information. 🌙 The Moon is the cause of birth. The Moon is the bridge between our subconscious, past life experiences and the present senses. It also represents childhood. Being in Aries, it suggests violence in past lives. Add Rahu to it and it magnifies it. Moon in Ashvini shows impatience to get things done, meaning, to get rid of karma, in order to heal. Childhood is difficult for all Ashvini Moons. The mother struggles during pregnancy, the child feels rejected at best. Rahu amplifies this problem, not to mention it is in Bharani. Early on, you said you had a bad relationship with your mother and actually, you found out she wasn't your real mother as yours departed to the other lokas long ago, I immediately thought about the story of Ashvini's and Bharani's rulers. I suggest you read the story of Sanjna and Chaya. I wish I could talk about it here but Tumblr finds my post too long, so I have to shorten it.😭 I wrote a bit about this story here and also here but it's not much developed. In short, the theme of the false mother (Chhaya) played out in your life. The rulers' lives always play out in some ways in our lives. 📗Also, Mercury is the lord of your 4th house: childhood and mother. Being in Moola suggests, at best, transformation. At worst, uprooting, destruction. Mula can be dreadful. Not to mention Mercury is your Lagnesha (Lagna Lord), the guardian of your lagna goes to Mula, the void of past traumas, aspected by Shani whose karaka is fear. Depending on the degree, Mercury might also be in the gandanta zone, which is a difficult position of transition. Mercury isn't debilitated but in a MKS too like Shani. Mercury is choking. You're right to say Mercury acts like a child, here in the area of relationships. Due to all the factors here, Mula, Shani's aspect, 12th Lord's conjunction, Mercury being Lagnesha and Lord of the 4th indicates this child abuse in this case. 🔴Your atmakaraka, which is the planet "responsible" for eliminating the biggest karmic trash is Mars. It indicates again a karma of violence. Purva Bhadrapada adds fuel to it. It's intense and fiery. Fortunately, it's situated in the 9th house, which makes you more prone to go towards spiritual awakening, experiences (hoping they're positive). Mars wants you to take the path of dharma, righteousness. Sun in Jyeshtha shows trauma, deep fears again but strength to face them. Regarding the Shakti yog, I can only say you don't have it, again, I can write no more. 😭 I hope this enlightened you a bit🧡🧡 You have good notions of Jyotish, keep learning 🔥🔥🔥

Do you have a recommended site for lagna and navamsa charts? I have done calculations from many sites and now I have two different results. How do I know which one is correct?
Hi anon, I recommend 2 websites: drikpanchang.com and deva.guru The results can change if the ayanamsha is not the same. All the ayanamshas are correct, it's just a matter of preference. As for me, I prefer to use the true Chitra paksha. Also, check the nodes' calculation, as they can change. You will have to choose between the mean or true nodes. Again, it is a matter of preference. I use the mean nodes actually. And of course, always choose the sidereal over the tropical. Here, it is a matter of tradition.

Sun in Purva Bhadrapada
Tumblr media
Sun in Purva Bhadrapada: you are endowed with tremendous energy. You lead an independent life both socially and financially. You are passionate, intelligent, curious and sharp to the point that you often dare question your gurus and teachers. You have strong humanitarian tendencies. But you may become quickly impatient and arrogant with those who are slower than you or those who do not understand your viewpoint as your ideas on the world are dear to you. You work hard and put consistent efforts to reach the higher goal. Your health: your tremendous energy may become your weak point if you do not respect your needs. You need to find balance. Additionally, you should pay attention to your nerves, mental health, spine, acidity and feet. Your principles: spirituality is your gift! If you want to delve deep into the material world and give up on your moral principles and spirituality, then, you will suffer greatly. China: Countries and Sound Series
In Mandarin Chinese, China is called: 中国/ zhongguo. "Zhong" sound is the closest to "cho" sound, found in Ashvini pada 3.
Ashvini: the Unstoppable Horses
🐎Horses: Ashvini's animal is the horse. Horses played a significant role in Chinese history. The Han conquered all the other warring states with horses while their enemy from the North also used the horse to submit them. The great wall they tried to build never stopped these Northern tribes to defeat them. The horse was also essential to keep in touch with other far away places in the West. Today, the car has replaced the horse: recently China has built flying cars, such as the pilotless flying taxis. Innovation in this field will make them successful.
🐎Martial arts: China is famous for its martial arts, especially kung fu. Ashvini is related to martial arts and warfare. 🐎Movement, migrations: In mainland China, many people migrated from North to South and East to West. They even went across the sea to establish themselves. Ashvini is a nakshatra that is always on the move. 🐎Medicine: Ashvini is all about medicine. China is known for its traditional medicine which still proves to be highly efficient today. This medicine is very complex and uses herbs. It also involves energetic therapies such as acupuncture, qi gong, tai qi. This type of medicine is very Ashvini-like.
🐎Levitation: In Chinese movies, we can often see characters flying. Ashvini is fascinated by levitation. 🐎Long hair: Horses have beautiful manes. Ashvini natives like to take care of their hair. In many Chinese TV shows, long hair is often seen.
🐎Sacred mountains: Taoist believers still make pilgrimages to sacred mountains throughout the country. They climb up mountains where temples are built. Ashvini likes to climb up on top of mountains, hills etc. 🐎Innovation: China has been the source of many inventions, such as printing, the compass, the gunpowder... When China stopped innovating, it fell down. In 1793, the emperor Qianlong arrogantly ignored steel and steam- yet offered by the British- which would make the British number one. The Chinese paid for this dreadful mistake: the country slowly sank into anarchy and wars later on. Innovation, an Ashvini quality, is key to success in general but most importantly for Ashvini. Now, the Chinese are known for their innovative technology surpassing Europe greatly.
🐎Humiliation: The Ashvin kumars, the Ashvini's rulers, had always been badly treated by the other demigods. They were always refused to drink the soma despite their godly lineage and deeds by them and Indra. But they found a cunning way to make the demigods change their minds. They had no choice but letting them drink soma, which deeply irritated Indra, the king of the demigods and the ruler of Jyeshtha. China faced heavy humiliation especially in the 19th century and was torn into pieces by foreign forces. And guess what? Their archenemy was the United Kingdom, whose letter "u" is related to Jyeshtha... Indra. And now, their major enemy is the U.S.A, which sound is the same... China found a cunning way to be in the top position: the U.K, the U.S and other countries gave most of their means of production to them, being lured to relocate their factories there due to their greed... And now the Chinese are in the top position.
🐎Selfishness, brutality: the Ashvini individual's dark side is self centeredness and lack of consideration for others. China revealed these traits in the past. For example, the way the Han subdued the other states had been harsh: unity meant destruction of cultural differences. Or in their philosophy, China was the center of the world: the emperor Qianlong showed it clearly, his sense of superiority clouding his vision regarding the western nations. As they thought they were the core of the world, they naturally spread their philosophies and culture to their neighbors. You were considered refined (aka superior) when you were able to recite Chinese poetry during the Japanese Heian period, for example.
🐎Red: Blood red is Ashvini's color. Red is a significant color in Chinese culture. 🐎Characters, writings, Hanzi: Writing, Chinese characters, play a major role in Chinese culture. It is considered as art, used for prayers, and communication throughout the country. It even spread outside of China. "Cho" corresponds to pada 3, which falls in Gemini, which is all about communication and writings. 🐎Trade: Chinese people are known for their merchant skills. Gemini is all about negotiations, money and trade. Next, we will see Russia. 🇷🇺 Previously, we saw the USA. 🇺🇸
