This is the season of corduroy, the key to commit to this so called ‘ugly fabric’ is to stick to the right fit. While the pile of my clothes contains a lot of unique and experimental pieces, I never thought of committing to corduroy until this month, as a result, this bright pink pantsuit from Zara. I always easily gravitate towards timeless pieces instead of athleisure even though it has been around for a while now.

Along with my pink pantsuit, I wore my favourite black mesh bustier top from a brand based in LA called Mistress Rocks

You’re bound to make a statement with a corduroy pantsuit! Another way to style this suit would be by belting the blazer and pairing it with a pleated or a ruffled skirt.

  Also earlier last week, I took a ride on the fabulous @brigitsbakery afternoon tea tour bus with @pinkribbonfoundation & @adwaiz to promote the Breast Cancer Awareness Month, filled our stomach with scrumptious savoury bites and mouth-watering desserts while the bus took us around London. Throughout the month of October, Brigit’s Bakery will be donating £1 for every afternoon tea sold on their bus tours in aid of Breast Cancer.

    I wore the least sexy​ fabric for a brunch in London. This is the season of corduroy, the key to commit to this so called 'ugly fabric' is to stick to the right fit.

This was my 3rd time attending and working at the London fashion week.

Rightly quoted by the Canadian actress Lexa Doig, “Men with style are great because they have a sense of self”!

Of course, a perfectly dressed man adds on to his overall personality and gives that sexy and robust feel altogether. It’s time to shift our focus from that new Huda beauty palette or the impeccable fascinators from the royal wedding and look at some of the men’s fashion trends in SS’18.

The Hues:

Visualising macho men in those classic blues, blacks and greys are passé; there is a hell more than that!

The first one being the PINK! No girls, gone are the days when you had a monopoly on this one, now it’s the guy’s turn to show the pink side. This “not-so- manly” hue has been one of the most trending colours for men lately be it with shirts, trousers or even formal blazers.

The next favourite is using the monotones. Using single tints and tones of the same colour and creating that harmonious look is at the top of the colour game.

“Its basic, but it’s always a classic- the all-white” Men are loving to wear white, and wearing it in layers mixing up with greys and sharp cuts of blacks. (And oh boys, just beware of those ketchup, sauces and the red wine!)

The Jackets:

Jackets are the perfect layering hacks, and with such great colour options and styles like the Plastic jackets, the very fresh and poppy mustard-hued and pastel jackets, which gives an off-beat punch to these otherwise “kinda-boring” pieces of clothing.

And oh, how can we forget the very trendy windbreakers or windcheaters in their super cool avatars! The best part of this renovation is that you can’t fall short of styling options. Throw one on over jeans, trousers, shirts, trainers or your Chelsea boots. It’s hard to go wrong!

The Denim and the Pants:

The denim never fades, but faded denim has become the hipe thing for men this season. The light/mid wash jeans are the trending denim this season.

The biggest #trendingpants this season are the side stripe pants. These can be vividly observed on the ramp at Balmain, Prada with the coordinating tops, and Valentino with the retro sportswear vibe. So men, SS’18, it’s all about getting a few lines down your legs. It gives the perfect sports luxe mood in your #ootd.

Talking about sports luxe and Athleisure, men are loving the joggers to this season.

Along with that cosy luxe vibe, how can one forget the flora vibe on the pants? Again, girls, the floral are not just your monopoly anymore, the men are playing their flowers right!

The Prints:

The print mood this season says stripes and checks, with a garnish of camo and polkas. Vertical stripes are men’s go to fashion favourite this season. Throwing it on pants or jeans, or layering with some tees, it can look ever stylish on anything.

The checks remain as classy as ever. On trousers, on shorts, on blazers, on shirts, you can’t possibly go wrong with it, can you?!

Camo and polka dots are something weirdly stylish for men lately. But hey there, it looks super cool! So boys don’t cling on trying these prints, coz they definitely look uber fashionable.

The Accessories:

SS’18 witnessed some very unique and stylish accessories for all you men out there. Be it from those vintage Berets and Baker boy hats to those bum bags, to those slim shades with poppy tints, all these accessories are the perfect way to get that “oh-so-dapper” look to your regular outfits. Men, you ought to get your hands on them!
