Spoilers for Sonic IDW comics;Yapping abt Lanolin the Sheep (I've already talked about her in other social platform but I want to leave it here too).

Yeah I understand why the fandom hates her, BUT those reasons are exactly what makes me love her as a character , lemme explain:

One day I was _walking_ in the internet and read a comment about Lanolin becoming a villain in the future just because of her actions, and I TOTALLY disagree (Yes, this was before she apologized to Diamond Cutters and Silver, but I'll use this as an argument). I've always loved characters that don't follow the "perfect characters of fiction", and let's be honest, most of Sonic's characters are like that, Sonic himself is selfish sometimes, even though his actions are good, he makes mistakes, and so does Lanolin. But the part I want to get at is that she made her mistakes, realized them, and fixed them. This does not mean that she will act perfectly in the future, and I personally would prefer her to continue without apologizing for a few more comics, and slowly noticing the effect of her actions in a way that is not obvious to the reader but it would still be possible to understand. Anyways I personally have a HC that Lanolin doesn't realize what her actions cause to others emotionally, as long as their PHYSICAL selves are fine, she prefers physical health over mental health, (bc of Metal Virus), but little by little she notices the effect of being like that.
