Our company president is micromanaging us to the point everybody is grumpy af and tired of his shit. The two people costing this company money instead of making us money he says nothing to, but loves to talk shit about them to the rest of us. Not good leadership skills homie! I know for a fact all of us except the two fuck up and one ass kisser are interviewing for new jobs so he might just come into work one day to a skeleton crew staff. I didn’t want to change jobs until we moved, but imma lose my god damn mind if I stay here.

Interview yesterday went fabulous. They put out some tough questions, but I blew their minds. The local president told the corporate wise guys “I think he’s very well presented that he knows construction procedures, but what about finances”? Another 30 minutes they were jotting down notes and murmuring with each other and one lady asked if I enjoy numbers. I responded “actually I despise math because it my brain hurt, but I’m told I’m good at it so I stick with what I’m good at”. That answer got a chuckle out of them. Then the big question. “Why are you thinking of leaving your current job “. My mouth opened and I could feel “because I work with honest to gawd fuckhead dumbasses and back stabbing fucktards and I really want beat them all to death with an electric pencil sharpener”! Instead it came out as “ I feel my skills are being under utilized and I’m not challenged enough by my current employer”. They seemed to like that answer. When it was over the local president walked me out and told me they had to go through the process, but based on what just transpired I was the number on pick out of 433 and he’ll be in touch within a week. He parted with “I told them beforehand you’ve been doing this half your life and ya know your shit and I feel confident they know now”. Oh and they didn’t even squirm one bit about my target salary. Keep them fingers crossed and hopefully I’ll be liberated from this Hell.

I got a call from a company tonight that I’ve applied with and the first thing out of the guys mouth was “man I haven’t talked to you in a long time gawd how ya been”? He said my resume came across his desk and he asked the talent acquisition team “did you not talk to this guy I know him well and he’s the real deal in the industry so why isn’t he here for an interview “? He said he has several positions he wants to talk to me about. He sounded really excited to talk to me and I have an interview on Monday. Woohoo!

My buddy is in Charlotte at their No Kings protest and the cops are present, but the disturbing shit is some dude rolls up with an AR and a Desert Eagle strapped on walking is dog. Best part he’s chit chatting with the cops like no big deal. WTF? Isn’t that same thing that happened with Kyle Rittenhouse?
