     dead eyes made their way through the dispersing crowds in the streets, uncaring of the odd stares being thrown her way as she avoided touching the living beings as if they were the plague. she decided that tonight was the night for her peculiar tendencies to come out to play. the sky, which was showcasing hues of purple and blue, seemed to be on her side. all that was left for her to do was act. and so the teen brought out her handy-dandy witch hat, dusty but still able to serve it’s purpose. yeju roamed the streets covered in black: hat on her head, cape flowing behind her, large book in her hands. she was looking to come across a cemetery of sorts. possible call upon her brother because he was practically D E A D to her by now. it was then that she came upon a small and disheveled creature.

     no, not a black cat coming to present her with all types of bad luck. it was none other than nari – the same person she weirdly actually liked being around. the young girl couldn’t help but stop and asses the situation. was she worth wasting this beautiful day for ? .. a soft sigh escaped her lips as she began making her way towards the blonde, a deep frown etched on her face the moment she realized she had been .. c r y i n g ? ‘ the fuck happened to you ? ’ she asked. the words seemed uncaring and brash, the way she always sounded, but the tone was different. for once, yeju sounded worried. like she actually cared. ‘ nari, talk to me. who do i need to hex ? – no, fuck that. who’s ass do i need to beat ? ’

SHE LOOKED UP AS SOON as she heard footsteps heading towards her, gearing up to kick some stranger’s ass if they dared to step to her. it wasn’t until she saw yeju that she scoffed and carded her fingers through her hair before wiping her face. she was almost tempted to give a sarcastic answer to her question but she couldn’t seem to make her mouth form the words she wanted to say right now. usually, she might have some sort of quip or something smart to say back but all she could think about was her and him together. the betrayal stung far more than anything else.

finally, she inhaled sharply and looked into her eyes. “she’s getting married to that cocksucker. after everything he did to me, to her, she’s still going to marry him” she growled, standing up again and kicking the trash can one more time for good measure. “i can’t believe it. after all we’ve been through together, she would rather be with him and give up on me. it’s bullshit!”

NARI STORMED THROUGH THE STREETS like a woman on a mission. she didn’t really have a destination in mind, but she needed to take some anger out on something. unfortunately, it had been a while since she’d seen her favorite punching bag so there was only a couple other options for her. so, she pushed through the crowd of people in her way, glaring up at anyone who dared to argue with her until they backed off.

‘i’m sorry, nari... she’s getting married to him.’

eventually, she found herself in an alleyway with a stray trashcan that she rushed towards and kicked over with a near animalistic scream. there was absolutely no way she was going to accept this. even if they weren’t friends anymore. even she didn’t care about her anymore. this was unacceptable. she fell into a crouch then, wrapping her arms around herself as she sobbed.

nari used to live with just her father after her mother died while giving birth to her. her dad never blamed her for the loss, but she blamed herself once she was old enough to understand.

she eventually felt left out of her family once her dad remarried and they had their own children. she was in her early teens when this began.

luckily, she was able to find a new family with her best friend and her family.

although she didn’t know it until later, she fell in love with her best friend and began to grow jealous of her relationship with any boyfriend she had at the time. eventually, this jealousy grew into a full-on rivalry when her friend found who she believed to be “the one”.

the rivalry was messy(tm). the boyfriend would call nari out on her feelings and she would disagree by saying she wasn’t a lesbian and that being with girls was disgusting. (mmmmohmygod stop fucking lying)

eventually, it came to a head when she was having a conversation with her best friend and, in the heat of the moment, they kissed each other and the boyfriend caught them. thus, a fight broke out.

she beat the absolute shit out of him and the sounds of the fight alerted the neighbors who called the police.

so, now she’s at hongdae where she’s studying to be a nurse and just trying to live her life. she’s lost contact with her best friend and doesn’t really know if she wants to have contact with her anyway.

she’s also still terrified of the fact that she has feelings towards girls especially since she likes guys too. it’s weird for her.
