Meredith scoffed, a vacation? Really? That was supposed to fix her and her view point? Every time she left this place, even for a moment; something happened. Then again, things happened with her in it. Everyone left and everyone died. Maybe it was ridiculous to think that she could keep it from happening. “The kids have school anyway, I can’t take them out and I’m not going to leave them to go somewhere.”

Meredith rolled her eyes, she would have Alzheimer's and be in a home by the time she was eighty. She didn't want that though and had been considering allowing her loved ones to take her off the mortal plane when she could no longer remember who she was. "I don't even know how to take a vacation. The way things are going, if I do, this place will be rubble when I get back."

Regina froze, the thought of having a child with the king put a sour taste in her mouth. She could never have a child with him, raising Snow was bad enough as it was. She didn't bother trying to take her hand back, knowing that trying could result in a more severe outburst. "I would hardly call wanting a simple life spoiled."

"I never wanted to be a queen, mother. You wanted it," Regina replied. It was too late to go back anyway. Daniel was dead and she was forced to spend her nights wishing she wouldn't wake up.

" Never ?! " Cora said in almost a loud and harsh ton. "We will see. When you have children Regina you will see that not everything is black and white." Taking Regina's hand and holding onto it tightly, not enough to cause too much pain. But enough. "I did not bring you up to be spoiled."

Cora's grip tighten a bit. "I worked too hard to give you this life and you wanted to go back to nothing?" Shaking her head she let go of Regina's hand. "You must forget that boy. He is gone and you are the King's wife now...You are Queen now."

Regina felt herself curling in, trying to shield herself from her words. How could she think any of this was what she wanted? She didn’t want any of this. All she had wanted was to run away with Daniel and live in a small home with just what they needed. “I will never thank you for this,” she said quietly.

" You really don't understand what I do for you, do you ? " Deep bright eyes looked at Regina for a moment. Then she lowered her eyes and sighed. "Regina, everything I do, I do it for you." Her voice was soft as she spoke to her. "You may not believe it now but latter down the line you will thank me."

Regina held her breath as she listened to herself talk. Of course she thought of daddy and Daniel. Sometimes she hated how much they passed through her mind, wishing for just a moment of peace. The way they invaded her brain was too much.

She forced herself not to move away from the other side of herself. Her heart ached for the way the Queen pleaded with her. She would give anything to not be placed in that position: one she's found herself in before, begging to see her son. "I will discuss it with Henry. I can't make him do anything and I won't push him against his will." She paused, "If he says no..I will take you to a spot where you can see him, but you must agree to leave him be."

The Queen looked at Regina for a moment. Her eyes locking with hers. Of course she knew that Herny wouldn't want to see her and apart of her didn't blame him. After all she was the evil Queen. But still he was her son too and she wanted to see him, more than anyone else she had ever wanted to see. Crossing her arms once more, the Queen looked at Regina and sighed.

"Tell me something, Regina do you ever think of daddy?" She asked in a low whisper. "Or how about Daniel?" Her voice was low, almost in a heartbroken ton. As if these two people broke her heart, in away they did. Just not in the way most people's hearts would be broken.

" Wouldn't you give anything to see them again ? " The Queen asked. "Wouldn't you trade your life and soul just to be near them again?" Slowly she moved closer to Regina once more. But this time she placed both her hands on Regina's cheeks and looked deep within her eyes once more. "Please don't add Henry to that list…Please let me see him. Even if it's for a moment or so."

Regina froze. She was right, they had cared for him together, she wouldn’t have been as fierce of a mother without that part of her. The part that fought hard to keep him, that showed how much she loved him. “You’re right, I do know that,” she answered honestly. She still didn’t want her near Henry though.

“Unfortunately, it’s not just what I know, though. It’s what Henry thinks and feels.” Regina knew how much it would hurt, but it didn’t change the truth. “He’s learned a lot but he still has very black and white thinking. We are split now, there’s a chance he won’t want to see you.”

A hiss came from the Queen's lips as she looked at her other half. "How dare you!" She snapped. "How dare you even think I would bring harm to him." Her eyes burned with hate and anger. "You out of everyone should know better, should know that I would never do anything to him that could hurt him."

A sigh then left her lips. "No matter what everyone thinks. I do love him." Looking back at Regina the Queen couldn't help but to smirk a bit. "Have you forgotten who took care of him. Who tended to his every wound and sickness?" She asked. "It wasn't just you, Regina. It was me too."

Regina hadn’t thought it would fully get rid of her, but she needed to buy time. Time to figure out what was happening and how to fix it. She knew that it wouldn’t be easy. “No, of course not. Nothing is ever that easy,” she answered.

She froze as the split queen touched her face. Still not a fan of people touching her, even herself, especially like this. “My son is safe. He’s been harmed enough by us in the past, and I will not let anyone, even myself, hurt him again.” Regina didn’t trust those dark parts of herself around Henry.

" You truly thought you could get rid of me that easily hm ? " A small smirk formed on the spilt Queen's lips while she looked at her other half. Soon a sigh left her lips as she crossed her arms and slowly moved closer, closing the gap between the two of them.

" Now, now Regina I thought you would know us a bit better than that. " Slowly she moved her fingertips to Regina's face. "Whenever you look at me like that it almost makes me miss you." Shaking her head she removed her fingers and looked away. "But you were only holding me back from my true power." Another smirk formed on her lips. "Now tell me where is my son? I would love to see him."
