omg lynette wanting to watch soft and relaxing media hits so close to my heart when i remember shes a trauma survivor... i too have experienced and continue to experience too much of The Horrors in live so i enjoy me some soft cute books cartoons and games unbeleaguered by The Horrors. when i read nowadays its mostly fairytales and books with kitties in them

ororon, of course hes awkward with social conventions and kind of just says what he thinks. he takes things literally. he is just vibing in his garden not caring about much except his special interest (vegetables). he views everything through that lens, even assigns to people what vegetable would they be. my absolute autism creature grandson

lynette! her social struggles and disconnection, outwardly coming off as distant, describing her ways of self regulation as "power saving mode". also, the cutscene where lyney is worried about her eating so much dessert that she wont eat a regular meal didnt come off to me as diet culture-y, but instead, i felt like lyney is worried about her meeting her nutrition needs because she tends to retreat into eating a lot of the same safer, sensory easy foods - sweet things in her case. and the exercise comment didnt sound to me like a weight thing but about getting her to gain an appetite again and eat nutrients. (i am someone with a lot of food restrictions, desserts are usually a safe option anywhere for me when eating out, as a lot of my worst sensory archnemeses are only found in savory foods, and also something like a pack of cookies or candy is often easier than trudging through executive dysfunction to make myself a balanced meal and also getting past my brain thinking that in this very moment everything is unpalatable.)

nahida! her foreign-ness to people and interpersonal interactions and subsequent avid people-watching to break social norms down and learn them. archiving neurotypical behavior patterns as an area of knowledge. still blurting out things that sound awkward and nonsensical to neurotypicals! difficulties to carry across her point if you are not accustomed to how she talks.

kirara, a little bit! this is a small bit, but her idle animation comes off so much as a happy stim to me!! i sometimes do the inner self squeeze, the squealy sounds, the hand squeeze. and i like that she stims by making shapes with her tails! <3

i lowkey wonder how much the initial plot of snezhnaya is/will be rewritten since the country it was supposed to be inspired by started a real life war. i perfectly understand if it will. but i just dont want the main overarching plot to suffer for it. yet it is also the place of the culmination of almost everything that has been going on.

the fact theyre adding an intermediate region to tie up all the side lore threads is nice and all. but them inserting new regions as we approach the finale is making me worried whether they won't just stretch out the game with new regions and factions because it brings money, never getting it to a clean satisfactory ending.

its why i dont watch long shows of many episodes. at some point the story is just stretched out for money and it never ends how it deserves to end. but i got stupidly attached to the main plot here.
