i'm hella tired, working on something I can't share (yet). so here's a fact you didn't ask for: I draw almost everyone bald. Sometimes they're fully rendered, and I like to hide sparkles under hair layers. If I skip the bald phase I will suffer and no longer understand how hair works.

Every have the urge to completely shave your head? Just do it ✨ But be careful - once you've tasted true freedom, you may never go back.

Day 13, Sandstorm: Pen - SKINNY. I found your little picture book in the sandstorm. I took the liberty of going through it, you're welcome, and I was aghast to see no picture of yours truly! Honestly, I expected at least seventeen full page spreads, but then it hit me. You must be too flustered to ask for what your heart desires! Do not fret - I've left you a photo to inspire your feeble butterfingers. Me, in the sandstorm that defeated you, looking as righteous as ever. Do you see those tears? They're for you, as I couldn't help but think about how you'll never look as unyielding and vigorous as me.

This is just a taste, Skinny. We'll slot the next photoshoot in with your weekly worship of me. Your book severely lacks closeups of my abs.

this was the first one I did, it was rough 😅 Trying to get over being embarrassed of art I'm not proud of, owning it, and recognizing I did the thing and didn't back out before I even tried. I have a thing where I yell at people to say 5 positive things about themselves if they say something negative. I owe myself 4 more, ha! --- Day 1, Festivals: Mi-an and Elsie kept me company for my first Sandrock Day of Memories. They've been so nice I almost forgot to miss Highwind. Until I think about my boss... but I just haven't figured him out yet. Right??

Skipping to day 15 of that "My Time" Drawtober cause I'm apparently just clicking the first one I see in the folder lol I really love drawing my OCs gorgeous one moment, and.. whatever this is the next. #15's entry is extra long. I wonder why~ --- Day 15, Fishing: When I finished setting up these chairs for Cooper's commission, he told me he got into an "altercation" with a tourist from Portia about fishing. In Portia they use fishing poles, not traps, and he said "Ain't no uppity Portian gonna show us Sandrockers up in nothin'." I don't know what happened, but we ended up sitting here for 4 hours. Hugo broke 31 fishing lines. We only had the one rod (I think that tourist gave it up to escape) and Cooper listed off a new reason why we couldn't use these "flimsy sticks" every time a line broke. Here are some of them: Portia's wind turbines. The fake moon messes with the sand tides. Deep state fish trainers. Arson. Ground up sentient robots, in the sand. Poison in the water hole. Alien activity. Strategically placed mirrors controlled by ancient sea-folk who are real bitter they aren't wet anymore. Books. I really thought Hugo would help me get out of here, but his eyes said we go down together.

ANOTHER ONE. I was trying to draw again after surgery and these look so different from the last half. I used an "easier" brush that I love, but can't figure out how to make it stop breaking at small sizes. --- Day 6, Family: Just spying wistfully at Rocky's family... You know, it's not very telesis to keep me single for so long. LIGHT, when is it my tURN?!
