Ang Wikang Filipino

Hindi pangmasa, bakya, jologs, pampalengke, pangkalye, o pangshowbiz lamang ang Wikang Filipino

Ang Filipino ay isang lehitimo na wika. Ibig sabihin, ito’y ginagamit sa iba’t ibang konteksto. Ito’y ginagamit sa araw-araw na pamumuhay, ngunit hindi ito limitado sa mga kaswal na pangyayari. Ginagamit ang Filipino sa mga opisyal na anunsyo. Ginagamit ito sa mga pang-akademikong usapin o sulatin. Hindi naman eksklusibo ang paggamit ng Filipino.

Hindi porket Filipino ang iyong gamit sa pagbili sa isang sari-sari store ay hindi mo na pwedeng gamitin ito sa pakikipagtalastasan sa mga kumplikadong usapin.

Ang maaaring rason kung bakit may ganitong imahe ang Wikang Filipino (sa mga Filipino) ay dahil ang colonial mentality ay talamak sa ating lipunan. Ang Wikang Ingles ay pinaghihinalaang mas mataas kaysa sa Filipino. Itong klaseng pag-iisip ay kailangan natin matanggal.

Ang Wikang Filipino ay isang magandang wika, at bilang mga Filipino ay responsibilidad natin na mapabuti ang reputasyon ng ating sariling wika sa ating kapwa-Filipino.

Ang Wikang Filipino ay Wika ng Akademya sa loob at labas ng bansa. Kung gayon, ay wikang intelektwal

Ang Wikang Filipino ay hindi lamang inaaral sa loob ng Pilipinas. May mga dayuhan na unibersidad na nag-aalok ng mga kurso sa wikang Filipino. Ang mga bansang ito ay Russia, Switzerland, at Germany.

Ito’y tunay na nakakatuwa dahil makikita natin na ang ating sariling wika ay pumukaw ng interes ng mga banyaga. Ang ehemplong ito ay sumusuporta sa nakaraang pahayag, na ang Wikang Filipino ay hindi lamang pangmasa, bakya, jologs, etc., kundi ito’y wikang intelektwal din.

Maaaring nakakagulat ito sa mga Filipino, na ang ating wika ay mahigpit na pinag-aaralan ng mga banyaga, ngunit kung titignan natin, ang Pilipinas at ang Wikang Filipino ay mayaman sa kultura.

Isa sa mga rason sa pag-aaral ng banyagang wika, bukod sa pang-aliw sa mga katutubong nagsasalita, ay ang mas malalim na pag-unawa sa kasaysayan at kultura nito.

Bilang mga Filipino, kailangan natin makita ang kagandahan ng sarili nating Wika. Isang mabisang paraan upang mamulat sa ganitong pag-iisip ay ang tumingin mula sa ibang perspektibo. Kung gaano ka ka-interesado sa anime, k-pop, hollywood movies, ganoon ka-interesado ang mga banyaga sa ating kultura at wika.

Bilang konklusyon, tayo mismong mga Filipino ang dapat i-tuloy ang pagyaman sa ating sariling wika. Dapat nating ipagmalaki ang ating kultura na kinikilala ng mga banyaga. Patuloy nating ipaalam sa ating mga kapwa-Filipino at sa buong mundo na ang wikang Filipino ay maganda, malakas, at sopistikado.

It takes its time and it changes the colour of the sky multiple times. Orange. Yellow. Pink. Purple. Gone. Goodbyes must be similar. Sit and watch the sun set and darkness take over. Watch how the stars have their own charm and how the ocean doesn’t fear this change. Take a deep breath while taking in the ocean’s courage and let your eyes twinkle like the stars with the thought of all the amazing possibilities. Your life is not static. You’re not stagnant. This is not your reality forever. There’s so much you have to do. So many people you still have to meet and love. So many places you need to see and learn from their history, culture and vibes. So many words you still have to write. Let go. Let go and embrace what is next.

So I had a mighty desire to draw the parallels I saw between Gravity Falls and Over the Garden Wall. Each picture had gotten progressively more intricate, and the reason why I didn’t go back to add anything is because I thought it was fitting since both shows started out as something simple, but built up into something much more!  

The last picture is just an extra I had doodled, and sorry about some of the quality, I only have my phone camera to take pictures with!
