The thing I love about being plushum is the raw intimacy I experience when I stitch up old tears in their skin. Today I FINALLY had the time and energy to fix a tear right under her tail she had for over a decade now, which, yes, did look like a butt hole. I felt our bond getting stronger with every stitch I made, making sure everything was tight and secure, pouring my love into every needle stroke. Lily didn’t really mind having a tear, but she was very grateful for the gesture regardless, it’s almost like she’s healing with me ÓwÒ

If you're going to be proudly objectum you're going to have to accept the fact that for a lot of objectum people it's a sexual thing too. It's called osor for a reason. It doesn't have to be sexual for you but there are members of our community where it is purely sexual and that's ok. Don't act like you're better or "less cringe" or whatever because it's not sexual for you. Kill the cop in your mind, we are all in this together. Peace and Love.

i would so recommend everyone gets a small plush/keychain/etc of their F/O to bring around wherever they go. my day is 75% better now that i have a lil guy with me

it's not against the law to carry a small item places 🤨 of course some people will think it's silly or childish, but IMO if it makes you even a little bit happier or more comfortable, it's worth it!

you aren't obligated to ever label your sexuality btw. you can just have sex, hang out with people, and fall in love. labels can be useful, for both navigating what kind of relationships you desire as well as political organization. but if identifying yourself as something is debilitating, you are under no obligation to use that label even if you definitionally "align" with that label. nor are you obligated to tell everyone (or anyone) about your sexuality. you can also wear labels like a fun hat, and put it on & take it off whenever.

I know it can be scary to share and post sometimes. I know the fear of others finding your work cringy can be daunting. But what you create is beautiful. The fact alone that you see these fictional characters and want to be apart of their stories and share your love for them is a wonderful thing. No matter if it for fun or coping, your self ships are special. Your self inserts are a form of self love, embrace that feeling of being gentle with yourself when it comes to it.
