i keep meaning to post an update explaining why i never posted the survey results, and i intended to have time to finally put them together and post them at least by the time a full year rolled around but shit keeps happening so i might as well explain myself to disappointed surveyors

i work full time and have several disabilities that cause me fatigue issues. the newest one being whats probably long covid. i got covid 3 months before i started the survey, and the long covid symptoms just keep developing as time goes on. my other disabilities are congenital, so adjusting to a new chronic disorder that effects me in ways my congenital ones dont has been very difficult

on top of that, i live at home renting my childhood bedroom from my parents. we've always had a strained relationship, one which was often abusive when i was a child, but recently my mom has gotten much worse again. my brother and i have been scrambling to find somewhere to move to, but as you can imagine its difficult finding housing nowadays

i really wanted to get the survey results out by march this year at the latest, but between the disability shit and the work shit and the parents shit i havent had the time or energy to spend on it. sorry its been a year already, time flies when you're constantly working. i'll finally post the survey results when i can

Sorry to go so long without an update! Unfortunately, I've been having some chronic health problems on top of working full time so I haven't had enough energy to spend on the survey. It's 90% of the way there, I just don't have it in me to do the polishing work on it. If people are fine with it, I can publish the more or less finished version of what I have so at least the information that was gathered is public in the state it's in currently

Hello! On the 3rd page of the survey were "closest fit your experience of platonic attraction" questions meant to be one answer only? Asking since everything else allows for multiple answers, thanks!

It is! I'm surprised the survey's been up for so long without someone pointing that out to me. I'll edit it to be multiple choice for anyone who wants to take it later or to re-edit their answers, but at this point I think the results of the survey suggest theres not much of a difference between the demographics of how people label their platonic attraction between humans/fictional characters/objects so I don't think it'll have much of an impact on the survey results

for the "how long have you been in this community" question I think you used the wrong symbol for less than 1 year (should be "<1")

omg I totally did, and somehow you're the first person to point it out lol. I'd like to change it but idk if editing the text will mess up the count on the question

Objectum/POSIC Community Survey 2024

I'm running a survey of the Objectum/POSIC communities! It's running until May 1st 2024. This is born from my own curiosity, inspired by the Furry Survey demographics polls. The questions pertain to things like gender identity, orientation, forms of attraction, and objects of attraction. Fictos and alterhumans are encouraged to respond! being objectum or POSIC is not a requirement to submit a response

the only required questions are about the particular objectum/objectophile/POSIC terms you identify with and how old you are. again, this survey closes on May 1st!
