ok you know what. let me take the mask off for a second and talk genuinely on the funny object fucker account because it’s gonna bother me if i don’t give some general feelings on here.

having strong emotions towards inanimate things is normal, when something means a lot to you or you put a lot of emotional energy into it you grow to love it and that’s absolutely normal. however romantic relationships with inanimate objects is completely different. that just... it doesn’t work like that. objects can’t love you and you can’t love them like you could a person and to pretend you can is holding you back i just know it.

this account ribs on the concept of being objectum but i don’t have any dislike for the actual people, i just think they gotta realise that there’s clearly some reason they’re more willing to form romantic bonds with objects than they are with other humans and deal with that instead of continuing to enable these relationships with objects.
