something that i’m always thinking about with ii is how the show comes across in universe.

like, in-universe, this is a live action web series where characters are violently killed for the bit. the amount of death HAS to make it come across as edgy to objects.

but like, OBVIOUSLY it isn’t real, so many weird things happen! but it’s oddly connected to Meeple and so some people think it’s an ARG. and a small minority of ii fans and conspiracy theorists would think it’s real.

imagine being an in-universe ii fan when the finale dropped… it had to have been taken down by Object YouTube soon after release, so you’d have to watch reuploads. and in this episode, real life billionaire and CEO Steve Cobs is BRUTALLY KILLED onscreen in the goriest death yet. and the characters eat his corpse?? and like Of Course this didn’t ACTUALLY HAPPEN….SURELY… and then Steve Cobs is reported dead by the media. And you, a hypothetical in-universe ii fan, have just had your entire view of the show and what could be possible in reality turned upside down.

do you think that edgy teenagers in the ii universe use cobs’s corpse as a shock image
