Iguro's life, well, was unfortunate, truly. He found it hard to ever trust anyone, let alone love anyone. He vowed to himself that he won't love anyone anymore— not in this life, he won't.

Well that quickly changed after a few months of him being a Hashira. He met someone independent, someone who is soft spoken and polite. What was better is that their energy was equally low, making Obanai comfortable in her presence.

The Snow Hashira– despite reckless– was very strong. She could depend on herself for survival and still execute demons. Of course that's the bare minimum but that wasn't the reason why Obanai was so enchanted by her.

The reason why he was so charmed by her was her unique breathing style and her.. well, antics. He found her breathing style ethereal and movements graceful. It was swift, it was elegant, and it was cold; even so, he felt warm. He felt at peace whenever he'd watch her train and swing her blade.

Not only that, he always found her entertaining. Her voice was so quiet yet it sounded so clear in his ears. it was almost on par when he woke up the first time he left his home and was met with the chirping of the birds together with the warmth of the sun— it was beautiful.

Of course that wasn't JUST IT ( it always not just it when it comes to Obanai ) He absolutely loves her demeanor. For some reason, he always loved her sleepy demeanor. He always finds her dozing off during meetings. Sometimes she would lean her back against his and doze off. Obanai just loves moments like those.

What really caught him off guard was when it was snowing.. and he found her with only her uniform and her haori being used as a pillow amidst the snow. The hard, cruel snow.

"..what are you doing, l/n?" Obanai asks with his brows furrowed, his snake coiling around his shoulders idly as if to inspect what this hashira is doing in the snow. The uniforms are well made.. just not made for snow.

"I'm just sleepy." The Snow Hashira mumbles with a yawn, burying her face in her haori and lying on her stomach. Obanai blinks twice and his eyebrow twitches. Is this Hashira stupid enough to get hypothermia? - Obanai, most likely.

"Get back inside." Obanai spoke up sternly. This man does not know how to voice out his concern and it was awfully obvious I fear. "..why?" She asked while shifting her head to face him. "It's cold, obviously."

Silence. Not an awkward one, no. Well it probably was for the Snow Hashira, but for Obanai? It felt so peaceful. Despite his stoic appearance, he feels almost content at this moment. "You'll get sick." He adds but in a slightly softer tone.

"No I won't." "Yes you will."

"Then sit with me so I won't get cold."

"..fine."

Shinobu's daily routine is, to simply put it: Concoct ( yes concoct ) new medication, research, attempt said research, break, check up on demon partner, grimace when she doesn't wake up, work, then check again.

Wanna see how this plays out? Well, she wakes up during the wee of hours. The sun has JUST shined but the it's glares aren't even blaring yet. Despite having no alarm clock, her body has already set an alarm clock and got used to waking up early.

Next thing she does is check out the antidotes left in her estate. Are there enough for the upcoming patients? Enough to probably heal her fellow Hashiras? Once confirmed, she will list down the correct numbers needed for each antidotes and medication needed.

After that, she will look through aallll the different books she has. Probably already read through the years. She was just refreshing her memory. After that, she will once again practice and read for hours on end. This part of her routine is very anticlimactic. One of the most boring routine Shinobu says.

And here comes one of the most nerve wracking moments of her routine- checking up on someone she holds dear to her heart. y/n. She used to be a human that cared deeply for others- much like Shinobu's sister.

Truth be told, Shinobu didn't like her at first, especially with the fresh memory of her dear sister dying in her arms, her emotions were a wreck. That was until you proved that you didn't dare eat humans- let alone touch them. Shinobu was reluctant at first, of course. She couldn't believe a demon like her would blatantly refuse humans. That was their food chain, after all.

No matter how many people bled, no matter how many people struggled, she still didn't eat them. Didn't even sink her teeth in their flesh. That was the day that Shinobu thought that it was worth a shot trusting a demon like her.

Except what Shinobu wasn't expecting is that she would regularly go to hibernation. Yes. Hibernation is Shinobu's wording because one time she slept for THREE MONTHS without waking up. This, of course, made Shinobu intrigued, but at the same time worried.

One time Aoi walked into Shinobu glaring daggers at the demon who was peacefully asleep. The catch? She was muttering: "Wake up." HUNDREDS of times. As if it was a mantra. Aoi swore she could hear Shinobu's voice in her dreams, telling her to wake up.

In spite of her really calm and collected demeanor, there were times that she was caught poking the demon's cheeks, even going far as to physically shaking her with a glare on her face. All of these, of course, went in vain as the demon needed her rest to avoid consuming humans.

Going back to her routine-- After Shinobu goes through the results of her research, she goes into the room where her dear demon is, fully expecting that she would be sound asleep. Shinobu honestly wishes she could sleep that soundly like that. Ah the perks of being a demon, am I right?

"..Kocho?" Shinobu heard a quiet voice speak up. Was she finally losing her mind? All those books probably got to her head. Oh damn, she knew she should've skipped research. Her brain was probably melting, hence why she heard y/n's voice. "Hi, Kocho." Y/n spoke up with a small smile on her face. Shinobu slowly, SLOWLY turned around.

"Do you have ANY clue of how long you slept? Like ANY clue? You slept for two years. TWO YEARS you hear me? 730 days. 17,520 minutes you were asleep." Shinobu spoke up as if scolding the demon for preserving her powers and avoiding the fact that she needs to eat.

"Sorry, Kocho! I just did it to-" "To control your hungry and save up your strength. I get it." Shinobu was quick to cut off the demon with a sigh that sounded almost relieved. She pulls her composer once more, dusting off her haori before looking back up at her with a sincere smile gracing her lips.

"I learned to be patient when it comes to you, y/n. Good evening. What do you say we have a walk so I can talk to you about the things I did for the past two years?" Shinobu offers, the demon smiles back at her with a nod. "Sounds good, Kocho."

"I'm letting you off the hook for only this night. Go back to training the next."

"Eh?!"

A/n : A Christmas special !! 'm getting to requests yall HWAHAH js spending time w the fam atm, hope yall enjoy this one! I'll make a New Years version <3 This is also NOT proofread chat ( i rarely proofread my stuff )

PLANNING !

As usual, it was Tengen who planned this whole thing. Confidently proposing that he has a "Flamboyant" idea for the oyakata-sama and his family.

Ultimately the Hashiras ( including you ) found it weird knowing Tengen, he'll probably start a whole festival if he could. But knowing it was for the Ubuyashiki family, they reluctantly agreed to it.

"Alright! Himejima is in charge with the wreaths together with the artificial holly leaves, Iguro with the stockings- make sure that's 10!" Tengen exclaims, pointing an accusing finger at the Serpent pillar in which he scoffs. "You're heard." He coldly replies.

"I'll handle with the tree! Rengoku will help me with that, so he's off the list. Shinobu! No- you handle the Christmas lights. Mitsuri! You handle the ornaments!" Tengeng practically ordered the Hashiras around. Misturi flashed him an excited grin and thumbs up while Shinobu nods her head.

"Er.. You four!" Tengen exclaims, pointing at the other Hashiras who hasn't been mentioned; Shinazugawa, Tomioka, Tokito, and yn. "You four uh.. decorate!" He reluctantly exclaims, clearly conflicted if it was really okay to let Tomioka and Shinazugawa in the same room.

"The hell?" Shinazugawa spat out with his usual stern voice, clearly irritated at the fact he had to cooperate with Tomioka, no other. But the rest had nothing to say.

"Then let's decorate the Christmas tree." yn suggested, looking up at Tomioka and Tengen internally praised the lord for yn's initiative to separate the two. "I have no objections." Tomioka says with a nod, leaving Tokito and Shinazugawa with the Christmas lights and wreaths, along with the stockings.

DECORATING !

Surprisingly, the decorating went smoothly despite Shinazugawa's occasional bitter grumble, saying that he's "doing too much" and that he could be "training" instead.

Since Tomioka and yn finished early, they got to help Tokito and Shinazugawa with the Christmas lights, taping them against the shoji of the Hashira meeting room, and taping the stockings on the walls as well.

The rest of the Hashiras who weren't assigned to decorate, they all made Christmas themed food in Rengoku's house, some decorated bento boxes with small Christmas decorative toothpicks on the meat and fruit, the rice were all decorated like snowman with their faces as seaweed.

The cookies were also decorated in different ornaments, Mitsuri, Iguro, and Shinobu made some gingerbread as well, making them as Oyakata-sama's children.

Once the decorating was complete, everyone helped each other with placing the food on a table, carefully aligning and organizing them to seem presentable, wrapping some of the utensils with a red ribbon, and placing random bells around.

And the decorations were now complete. Operation bringing Oyakata-sama and his family to the Meeting room now commences!

OPERATION !

Truth be told, it was actually quite easy to convince the Oyakata-sama to go to the meeting room. He trusts and loves his beloved children, and it's rare for them to request his presence. Why should he refuse? Especially when the whole entire Ubuyashiki family is required.

When the Ubuyashiki family arrived, they were filled with smiles, the children looking around with lit up eyes as they explore the place, pointing at anything they find cool or eye catching.

A bonus part, Tengen did a "secret Santa" of sorts, where the Hashiras pulled different names and gifted the one they pulled. Honestly, during the gift giving, it was very chaotic.

They were all expensive though, that you can guarantee. Although it was very thoughtful, some contained letters, some contained with hugs! ( Mitsuri hugged everyone, ESPECIALLY Iguro, Shinobu, and yn. )

Once gift giving ended, everyone started eating. "Woah this is good." yn mused out loud with an approving nod, and Rongoku loudly laughs, causing yn to almost spit out their food out of shock. "I cooked that! Hopefully the presentation is quite lovely to the eyes as well!" Rongoku exclaims in a jolly good tone, literally.

"Well I must say, the decoration is pleasing to the eyes, minimalistic yet eye-catching." Shinobu compliments with a soft smile and approving nod, a handful of others nodding.

Truth be told, this was probably everyone's first happy Christmas, the Ubuyashiki children participated in the many games the Hashiras made, giving them candy as prizes, and even small accessories for the females.

It is safe to say the Oyakata-sama and Lady Amane is happy and will cherish this moment in their hearts.

I‘m 1,79m and since that’s taller than a lot of them i sometimes feel a little weird when reading fanfics or whatever and they often describe the reader as small/petite/short.

• When an announcement of a new Hashira settling in the corps, Giyu was simply neutral about it. Just his emotionless, stoic self.

• Seeing the said new Hashira during the semiannual Hashira meeting, he did not expect to meet someone his height.

• In truth, he was used to females significantly shorter than him, so he wondered if your family were extremely tall as well.

• For a while, Giyu was quite literally eyeing you. You were ethereal in his eyes, your height was an amazing feat for Giyu, it made it an eye candy for him.

• Though his deep insecurities knew better than to selfishly keep you to himself, however it seemed you had different plans. Recently, Giyu noticed that you've been slowly but noticeably interacting with him.

• Not that he's complaining.

• As you two bonded, the stronger the connection became. You had found out his own vulnerabilities as well as vice versa, and you two often get paired during missions, so that's a plus in bonding.

• Your height doesn't bother him at all, in fact he finds it quite charming. The way your eyes will constantly meet and not having to adjust his head or his eyes, it just perfectly clicks.

• With his welcoming and warm personality, you got along with him within seconds! Like his breathing style, you both had a spark and just connected just like that!

• Kyojuro loves giving you some of his bento boxes that he made. He made sure to make extras for you as well! He says, quote on quote: "You should eat more so you can become much more taller than I am! Haha!"

• This man has absolute no problem with your height either, he loves patting your shoulders as a subtle way of praising you, and he loves tapping your elbow with his during missions as a little warning since you're both probably the same height.

• Oh she was so happy to see yet another female Hashira was in the corps, seeing a female promoted to the Hashira title was so uncommon!

• "Oooo!! I will totally befriend her! This is all so exciting!!"

• As the affectionate Love Hashira she is, meeting her was quite overwhelming. The sudden exposure to large energy was shocking at first, but you soon got used to it.

• When Mitsuri fully registered that you were taller than her, she let out a loud audible gasp and her mouth goes agape.

• Mitsuri noticed she was unattractively gaping, she covers her mouth and blinks twice. It was a shocker, seriously! The way she has to physically turn her head to look at your eyes!

• It made her feel reeaaaallyyyy flustered, but she absolutely ADORES you. She always looks forward to your occasional meetup & missions when paired up together, she was originally thriving with life but with you added to the mix + her little crush on you? Her life is BOOMING.

• Your height? She's head over heels for it. No other necessary words.

⋆˚✿˖° Tokito Muichiro ( reader is the same age as him )

• Pre Swordsmith Village Arc, Muichiro didn't really pay attention to you. Like at all. Sure, he'd look your way and stare for a good few seconds then he'd walk away.

• You ALWAYS found him weird, but learning his backstory, you couldn't judge the boy for having rough memory. He didn't choose to be that way nor asked to experience such traumatic event.

• Since Muichiro is someone close to your age and the Master personally request that you talk with Muichiro, you decided to walk up to him.

• Well things didn't work out according to your plan, since he blatantly rejected your offer to be friends. Well, he walked away, didn't reject per se, but it stung.

• But you knew how Muichiro was from past experiences with him, he struggled with genuine emotions, and you understand that, so you chose to be patient with him.

• Except sometimes it was irritating.

• Post Swordsmith Village arc and you managed to secure a proper relationship with him, he remembered you miraculously!

• He was pretty soft spoken with you too and he smiled a lot around your presence, so that threw you off.

• During this duration, Muichiro had always acknowledged your height, genuinely looking irritated that he always has to look up JUST to speak to you.

• While it doesn't bother him per se, he would just really appreciate if he wouldn't get a neck cramp from constantly looking up at you just to form a proper conversation with you.

⋆˚✿˖° Iguro Obanai

• Well we have mister grumpers in the club /j

• He wasn't TOO ecstatic to hear that yet another woman was joining the Hashiras, two was already enough. You can blame him, his past was rough.

• it really doesn't help your height was unbelievably tall in his perspective, it somewhat reminded him of his past in a way, not a pleasant thought, he's aware.

• Though after seeing and observing your moves, it seemed you weren't that bad. To him, you had pure intentions like any other Hashiras, but still refused to speak to you.

• The first few interactions with him was just him speaking to you in a sharp and stern manner, it honestly made you feel intimidated and unwanted, but oh well.

• Kyojuro informed you one day that Obanai struggles with women due to his past and kindly asked that you take it easy with him. You knew there was more to it, but you didn't want to pry any further as it wasn't in Kyojuro's place to speak.

• So, as asked, you decided to soften up your approach with him but also make it seem that you're ecstatic. even when you're quite literally intimidated to your core.

• Things just escalated from there, it took a while for Obanai to actually be gentle towards you, but at least you gained his respect the few days you interacted with him.

• Your height doesn't bother him, he's just simply neutral about it after learning you as a person and your personality. It makes you seem strong, and he genuinely likes it that way.

⋆˚✿˖° Shinazugawa Sanemi

• Similarly to Muichiro, he didn't really pay any mind to you. Yes, even with your extraordinary height, he didn't really care.

• Honestly just trying to get a proper conversation is tough, what more if you want to capture his attention? Sanemi is a tough nut to crack, after all.

• Luckily for you, you were also pretty stubborn headed! And you genuinely wanted to befriend Sanemi.

• Many, many attempts has been made. I mean many. That man is so angry all the time, it leaves you baffled sometimes. But that won't stop you, would it?

• Inevitably, Sanemi warmed up to you. Unwillingly, in his words. He noticed your company wasn't so bad, and you were quite the attractive one.

• In many and similar cases, no one in the corps was as tall as you. In the current era, females are known to be short, so he took that feat or yours in mind.

• Your height doesn't bother or irritate him, similarly to Obanai, he's just neutral about it. He's able to speak with you eye to eye easily otherwise he didn't care.

⋆˚✿˖° Kocho Shinobu

• She was quite happy and satisfied that yet another member was promoted into a Hashira, hearing someone that's willing to risk their lives for the safety of others brings her heart and mind at peace.

• Meeting you, she somewhat felt safe. Perhaps because your height reminded you of her older sister and your aura was comforting, it was admirable in her eyes.

• In a few months, Shinobu was greatly close to you, choosing to open up about her tragic past and her sense of hatred for a specific demon, you understood her rage and grief.

• There was something about you that Shinobu couldn't explain, you were so approachable for her and she feels extremely secured as long as you're around. It was an odd feeling Shinobu is experiencing, indeed.

• Shinobu knew she didn't need any protection, she knew she was capable of herself. But asking for help isn't so bad either, whether it'd be emotionally or mentally.

• Your height is something Shinobu loves yet envies. She envies you for being blessed with your height and she feels so small compared to you, yet she loves your height because it just makes you so eye-catching, it makes you stand out.

⋆˚✿˖° Uzui Tengen

• Oh we already know he's super excited to hear about the said new Hashira.

• An odd ball, he was. Constantly talking about being flamboyant and being flashy.. Your first impression on him was amusing to say the least.

• He was really respectful though, so that's additional points to your already amusing first impression. He even complimented your height, saying it's an attractive height for a lady.

• Missions with him felt like a breeze, with his carefree personality, it just feels like you're both playing some game with the demons. It's also quite cool he can easily blend in the shadows, so that's yet another additional points.

• Meeting his wives were even CRAZIER, you didn't expect him to literally THREE wives?! But you three soon became super duper close.

• Your height doesn't bother him at all, with his height? You're still small in his eyes, just a few inches taller than the usual ladies. Similarly with many, he finds your height very, very attractive.

Modern AU, Streamer reader, SMAU ! Angst - Comfort

Warnings : reader is implied mentally unhealthy and unstable. Reader is also pretty dependent on the twins, scroll if you potentially find this uncomfortable !

With a huff, the streamer rolls their eyes, chucking their phone and it softly lands on their creamy white comforter that wrapped around their bed's mattress. A petty expression of annoyance plastered on their face, they grumble under their breath.

"It isn't the first time getting rejected by the twins, so why the hell am I so irritated this time?!" They mumbled in irritation, once again huffing. "Whatever. Try again next time!" They exclaimed in a defeated manner, ultimately giving up.

As a streamer, it was inevitable for them to start a streaming session despite having a premade plan for the twins, turning the cam on and flashing a "The stream will start soon!" screen, they mumbled yet again. "The twins are so frustrating.."

"Even after a week they still refuse..?! How infuriating..!" The streamer screamed in the pillow to muffle their voice as to avoid disturbing your poor neighbors who constantly hear their screams and curses whenever watching or playing a horror game with their beloved viewers.

Letting out a loud groan, they flip themselves to their back and they faced the ceiling with a clearly irritated and disturbed expression, they let out a slow exhale to calm themselves down.

"Damn. I'm both lonely AND miserable." They mumbled to themselves with a ghastly expression, sighing and closing their eyes. The streamer had decided to skip streaming, apparently, y/n purely only planned the stream with the twins, convinced that they would finally accept their proposal with the stream.

In truth, the streamer kept pestering the twins to join their livestreams, simply because they felt lonely. Despite being a surprisingly well-known streamer, they didn't have a "ride or die" person, other than the twins.

Y/n loved the twins, truly. Meeting them since the diaper days, since the stressful high school days, they've always chose to stay by the twin's side. Consistently interacting with them, consistently hanging out with them, they wanted to show the twins and their connection with each other to the whole world.

Well at least that's what they wanted, and it seems the twins doesn't, in y/n's perspective.

Yn was more or less aware that they haven't been streaming, or they haven't been interacting with people, when the twins mentioned that made yn feel more worse than they originally were.

Yn sighs in exhaustion even if they hadn't even been out recently. Pulling up the covers, they groaned. "No thanks, ma! Don't wanna eat!" They shortly replied, their mother sighs in defeat as well. "Alright then. You should go out again, the twins must miss you. I'll be down, alright?" Their mother says before slowly walking away from their child's room.

"Do the twins even like being with me at this point..?" They mumbled out loud with a sigh, grabbing her phone and letting her screen wake up to 0 text messages from the twins and a bunch of notifications from social media. "At least the media goes out their way to constantly ask about my well being.."

The hours passed, Muichiro had no response from the streamer. The hours turned into days, and the day turned into a full week once again.

The fight had not only affect yn, but also affect Yuichiro. Both sides knew they were both wrong, yet they were too prideful to admit anything.

Yuichiro wanted to apologize, but he knew what he was doing was the best for the streamer, his execution just left a deep scar to yn.

yn wanted to apologize for being a hassle, but they knew Yuichiro was rude with his words, so they let things be, letting Muichiro be the mediator once again in their dispute.

• Hello ! I'm obscurahebi, also known as fangli or fang ( lili too ) ! I am no amateur in writing, rest assured, I have made a novel once, however I haven't published it ( waiting for permission. ) My authenticity is half Spanish and Half Filipino, however my first language is English. I speak simple Tagalog and Simple Japanese as well ! My blog used to go by mistific, hence why my works are labeled as 'mistific' :) pls be informed i changed my overall blog to avoid being fooled by possible imitators 💔

• As of now, I currently live in the Philippines <3. I'm in my 4th year of high school, and I'm currently in my 15s 🫡 yes, I'm a minor. I'm born female and my pronouns are She/They, or any pronouns <3 I'm single ( lel ) but I'm happily thriving with my friends whom have beautiful souls <3.

About My Blog !

• My blog will only focus on Demon Slayer / Kimetsu No Yaiba ( KNY ). I will not write for any other fandom here, however I can TRY base the plot from a different anime / game. However if I do not know the said anime or game or I'm only partially familiar with it, I will reply to the request and state that I am unable to do it ( I sincerely apologize </3 )

• My posts will only consist of cc x reader, however in SMAUS / AUS possible ships can be seen. ( only canon ships, obamitsu, kanatan, inoaoi, zenitsu & nezuko, etc. )

• I will NOT write for NSFW or anything under the NSFW umbrella however violence is an exception ( since KNY is known for its violence. )
