special mention to @undercove-r because i developed a few concepts based on our interactions :> namely the idea of rin meeting later models of herself (iirc). that was so interesting to write

i'd love to talk about this au more one day. there's a tiny chance i'll revive rin for a second or third time but i struggle to maintain rp blogs for long periods of time. which is why i keep abandoning them.

so on that note i guess you won't see much of everyone's favourite rogue ai going forwards (lol). i didn't meant to write an essay but this was the first rp blog i made that got frequent attention and part of me feels like this was necessary. hope to see you guys around ^^

i'm not making an akito blog for this au (i might) but i do have a few ideas for him. i'm starting to like that guy and i don't know how to feel about it

It's really unfortunate that one occasion where you tried to start a roleplay as Shoujo Rei Nene you got lashed out at so viciously for simply wanting to roleplay angst in an AU you made, but please don't let that deter you from ever trying again with other people. Write the kind of Nenes you want to write! And there are surely others here who are willing to engage with them, like me!

OOC: Yeppers! It really frustrates me when I see people, roleplay accounts or otherwise, trying to dictate how others roleplay on here. Just because you don't want to do angst doesn't mean you should rag on others who do want to. Just because you want to write your character as accurate to canon as possible doesn't mean you should bash people who lean heavily into headcanons.

If you want to avoid a certain type of roleplay, verbalize that somewhere easily visible, like your bio or pinned post. If you don't do that you have no right to be angry at someone for trying to interact with your account in-character. Yes, there are things that go too far (use common sense) but try to have empathy and acknowledge that if you don't have "do not interact with me if your headcanons/AU have anything to do with suicide/self harm/etc." there will always be a possibility someone will interact with you who writes about those themes.

When I first started this account I was rather determined to write Kotaro as canonically compliant as possible. I know everything there is to know about him in terms of canon information, after all!~ But the more time I spent here the more fun I had and the more opportunities there were to be creative. Why not have him and Ena (who is a nonbinary werewolf) be roommates? Why not make him genderfluid and have body image issues? Where is it written in canon saying I can't have these headcanons that make me and others feel seen and understood?

Establish your boundaries front and center when someone enters your account. Block people you don't want to interact with. Don't reply to threads that make you uncomfortable. Write your character the way you want to write your character and one by one the people who appreciate it will find you.

Evidently, this was someone who knew what he looked like, or at the very least knew the information of his recent status as an amputee.

"I'm persevering, as usual. Keeping myself scarce," he says before sighing. "Making do on supplies, although I haven't been in a position to pawn things off like usual."

His voice quickly loses its friendly tone when he adds, "So, are you an independent AI or are you trying to track down any escapees to dispose of?"

You can do it like kotaro mod, where you have a version of rin for the au and other for general rp so that one doesn't mess the other up, even if they're extremely similar
