Great news guys! I am officially done with DAY FIVE!

‘S writing. Just the writing. The art still isn’t done. However, day 5 is fully finished in writing! Not a bad rough draft, just fully finished writing! My beta tester loved the endings so I hope you will too!

I still can’t say we’re nearing the endgame because of all the artwork I need to do (including rewriting day 4). However, I feel confident in saying I’m halfway done with the Moondrop route! Everyone’s patience will be rewarded and hopefully super worth it!

Hey :D I was wondering, for the route where you romance Orion and Ravi is it like Mc date the both and them and they are somewhat friend or does the Mc date the both of them and they date eachother too ?, because I was curious since they really despise eachother

However, I can't answer this question. Not because it's a spoiler, but because of something I've been dancing around for a bit too long now. I should have just told you guys when I made the decision, but I didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings in that moment since I hyped it up so much. You guys can probably tell what I'm going to say, but...

With a heavy heart, the Eclipse route where you romance both Orion and Ravi will not be in the final game.

Let me get this out of the way since a few people have asked me about it. This is NOT because it is a poly relationship. I had full intentions of trying to write a good poly relationship as best I could, especially one of the enemies to lovers variety. I am not guaranteeing it would have been perfect, but I am saying I planned on doing my best and more. No, these are the actual reasons why I'm not doing the Eclipse route.

One, the in story reason, the two hate each other too much. I have no idea why I thought those two could get along in any sense, but those two have so many issues going on in their head that even if the MC had infinite patience you'd never get through to them. Even if you managed to form a good relationship with each of them individually, the two would eventually force you to choose between them because of how much they hate each other. And there's no good scenario no matter what you'd pick.

Two, and the actual reason I've been hesitant to say, but I'm in WAY over my head. The original demo was never supposed to be something beyond that, a small demo love letter to a creator I like, and then it just BLEW up with how much attention it got and how much I wanted to add in. I thought I could make this a super big project with a ton of differing pathways and different endings depending on what you do, but honestly? I just want the project to be done already. I released that original demo in December and I'm still not done. I hate to say it but I don't think I'm the kind of person who can make long standing projects right now. And MAS falls under that umbrella. However, I don't want to break any more promises that I've made, which is why I'm continuing to work on the game.

I had to cut out the Eclipse route because of those reasons, and obviously the real life reason is the most intense. I'm nearly done with the writing of Day 5's Moondrop route, and considering Day 6 is the big finale for that route, I want it to be as good as it possibly can be.

I understand if anyone leaves or stops giving support cause you were looking forward to the Eclipse route. I hold no ill will to anyone who's disappointed with me. All I ask is that you try to understand my position. However, I will not turn my back on the Moondrop or the Sundew route. That I can promise you, and it's going to be awesome. I hope.

I'm very sorry anon and others, but I hope you guys still take this journey with me!

Small announcement guys!

Ok so, I know my updates always sound insane, like "I'm nearly 24/392 done with this section of MAS!" but no joke, I am legit 1/3 through Day 5's writing right now. No crappy rough draft I'm too embarrassed to post, like quality writing I'd be willing to release!

And not just writing, I'm talking art too. Ronnie's making an appearance everyone!

Now, obviously, you'd think if I'm 1/3 through Day 5, I'd have posted Day 4 on my patreon already. I have not, and won't do so until Day 5 is finished. Why?

Well, read back "crappy rough draft". When I say it's bad, it's bad. I know you guys will probably like almost anything I post, but what I have for Day 4 right now is just not up to par with any of the other days in any way. So I'm not gonna post it until it is! However, Day 5 is pretty close to the Moondrop route's finale (don't think I mentioned that yet, lmao sorry), and I want to be on my A-game when I work on Day 6. So my plan is to finish Day 5 and then go back and rewrite the mess that is Day 4. Make it less shitty and more coherent, you know?

I'm not saying we're nearing the end, by the way. I've still got way more to write for Day 5, and with Day 4 needing to be completely redone and Day 6 being the most difficult day by a mile, it's still going to take a while to finish the Moondrop route. However, I'm pretty confident I'll have something to share with you guys in September! So look out for that announcement!

THE PLAN!™️

Aka what I've been working on the past couple of weeks. You guys probably noticed by now that I've posted a shot of Day 4 and have been posting about my progress in Day 4. And that's not a lie! I'm still working on the rough draft of Day 4 as I'm typing this. However, I feel like I should tell you guys what's up with The Plan™️since I feel like there's been a lot of uncertainty in a release date. No more of that! Let me tell you guys what I've actually been planning!

So, as insane as this sounds, what I've been working on the past few weeks is...

FINISHING THE ENTIRE MOONDROP ROUTE!

No update pauses for the next day, no waiting a month for an hour of content, none of that! Just a full route of a game for you guys to enjoy! Same with the Sundew route, I'm gonna finish that in its entirety and post it in full as well! (as for the eclipse route...that's for another post tbh)

Now y'all are obviously wondering why I'm doing this. It sounds like a lot of work, a lot of pressure, and very uncertain in terms of a release date. I'll try and explain my reasons as concisely as possible.

I finish work on the VN WAY faster than I think I do. Day 3 took around three weeks to finish, from me posting about the writing to saying I posted it on my patreon for early access. It's not fully finished, I have stated that it's still missing some graphics, but it's in a finished enough state that I feel comfortable posting early access on my patreon. I'm working on the rough draft for Day 4 right now, and I'm almost finished with it. I literally started on Friday! It is a rough draft, so I might rewrite some sections, but the fact that I'm nearly done with the rough draft in literal days makes me confident I can get it done sooner than later. Which segues me into my next point.

I am as impatient as you guys, and I mean that in the best way possible. I want the game to be updated too, because I have so much going on in my head that I HAVE to show you guys! I tried the method of posting one update that lasts an hour or two every couple of months, but the more I tried it the more I realized, that is NOT for me. I would much prefer if I just posted all of the game in full instead of making people wait for a couple of hours of gameplay. To be clear, this is not a dig towards any other VN maker, I admire everyone's work to the maximum. This is literally me just being impatient and wanting the whole thing just OUT there already. Full route number 1, full route number 2, no ifs ands or buts about it!

And I feel like my biggest point is that I want to work on other stuff beyond visual novels. I'm getting into 3D modeling and 3D games, which has been a small interest of mine for YEARS. I can't work on 3D games until I finish the VN, because I have a pretty bad habit of picking up projects and then abandoning them a few months later. However, I don't want that to be the case with MAS. I know that if I can finish this, I can finish ANYTHING! Including a 3D game!

I'm really hoping that by September, I'll have something to show you guys. Whether it be fully finished or a bit scuffed in some areas, I really hope that my plans work out well. I really want to post as much game as I can by then, and even if it's not fully done, I hope you guys get some enjoyment out of it!

Thanks for the ask! I'm so glad you like the game! As for your questions,

Orion would be THRILLED if you took him to an aquarium. He never thought he'd be into fish, but seeing them in giant colorful tanks? Yes please! He'd be mesmerized by everything he sees, especially the octopuses. (or octopi? Idk both are correct) He'd have so much fun. Meanwhile Ravi's definition of fun would be spouting off as many facts about each animal you go by as he can. He finds quaint and mundane stuff like this very interesting, since he's seen stuff your mind literally can't comprehend. He'd do his best to impress with you with his knowledge, and try to keep his composure when he sees something cool in the aquarium. He is an angel, a pretty important one at that!

I actually answered a similar question about Ravi's bandages here! As for the answer...something did happen, but as if he's going to tell you anytime soon. Just do your best to not press the issue. It will not end well.

As for release date, I think I'll make another post more in depth about this, because I just realized that not telling you guys about my plan and being all cryptic about it when you've been eager for an update isn't that nice. Especially when Day 3's already up there. But for the short answer for the sake of this ask, I am hoping for a release of around mid-late September!

I'd say that Orion is definitely the more touch starved of the two. Even holding hands with you would be enough to satisfy him. However Ravi would be more clingy, but not touch starved. He's had enough of people touching him for one lifetime.

Yes, of course! I will never permanently paywall my games. I want everyone to be able to play them.

That being said, Day 3 as it is isn't currently finished. I've stayed both here and on my patreon that what people will be playing is an unfinished version, with missing graphics and misspelled text. I put it on patreon because I promised people early access to my games if they joined the patreon, and I intend to keep that promise. Also, I'm working on Day 4 as I'm typing this answer out, and that's going to be up for early access soon as well!

Any games I put on my patreon will always just be early access! I will always release them for free eventually. Just do your best to be patient, everyone!

Good question!

Nah but in all seriousness, this question is hard to answer. Not because I don't know the exact number of days, I do, but describing how many days there's going to be is really difficult. Cause what I've got planned can't really translate into a numbered amount of days.

To keep this as spoiler free as possible, I'd say for each route there's going to be six days that you're congenitally aware of and are able to play through without any mind fuckery happening. And unfortunately, I can't tell you anything beyond that because that would be massive spoilers!

But you guys can definitely theorize on what mind fuckery there could be!

I actually think Day 4 is going to be on the shorter side. Like, way short. No active choices you can make short.(still iffy on that one because I haven't figured out if you actually need to make any choices) This was not on purpose and it's not because of how exhausted Day 3 made me, the layout I wrote for Day 4 is just a lot shorter than I remember it being.

All this to say, my plans have changed a tad once again. I am obviously still going to be releasing the game up for early access on my patreon, however when it'll be public I don't exactly know. But the reason for WHY is going to surprise you guys. I'll more than likely drop why it's getting an unknown release date later, but that's when I get further into the game's development.

If what I have planned goes well (MASSIVE if, I have no idea if this will work) then you guys are going to have a FIELD day with me. Or more than likely hate me for breaking your hearts. Who knows!

REALLY REALLY STUPUD SMALL RANT BEFORE THE QUESTION BUT WHAT DO YOU MEAN CELESTIALS AND HUMANS CAN REPRODUCE TOGETHER MUCH LESS CELESTIALS FROM OPPOSITE SIDES?? Okay ignoring my rant I have a small but silly ask. How would our sillies react to a mc that was horrified of bugs? Since I’m really scared of bugs, but to the point of panic attacks thankfully but I will scream if there’s a house fly in a room with me. I even feel a bit uncomfortable with a sight of a fruit fly. So image how bad I am with bees and spiders…the only insects I can partially handle are butterflies or ladybugs, but even then if a butterfly gets too close to me or too fast I will run, and I don’t like ladybugs crawling on me

Yep, they absolutely can! Celestials can get with humans and their opposites as much as they want! Doesn’t mean they always do, and it’s not always possible for a child to be formed since either your pouring a ton of magic into something that can’t take on said magic or you’re directly conflicting with your opposite, but it is possible! I’m always a fan of hybrids and mixing and matching stuff, so I just applied that logic to the celestials. It lets people be more creative with any ocs they might want to make!

As for the bug question, Orion would think MC is overreacting because the darn thing is so small. And Ravi would agree if he wasn’t terrified of spiders. He can handle any other bug, but spiders? He is screaming in fear right alongside you, no matter what kind of spider it is. Orion is definitely the one who pushes the lil guys out the window while you two are in the other room crying.
