theory: the prandine/fallow/3-19 face is the shadow lord's "favourite" because that is what the shadow lord himself used to look like - this would make sense, because the shadow lord is nothing if not self-absorbed and prideful.

somewhat funnier/more perplexing theory: the prandine/fallow/3-19 face is the shadow lord's "favourite" because it resembles someone else. this raises a lot of questions, mostly because the shadow lord has never been shown to give a shit about literally any other person as an individual. is this someone from his past? an enemy? a friend? a lover? did he build this sour-faced twink in a lab because to him this is the ideal physical form? who's to fucking say?

My rendition of one of the Ak-Baba, piecing together bits of my memories as a fictive of Lief and using general vibes of what feels right.

They were able to fold their wings downwards and use them to walk in a quadrupedal way--they'd mainly do this to lunge after something on the ground without the need to expend the energy to take flight. They were covered in both long, dark spines and feathers.
