           “ —ya  don’t  gotta  apologize.  ” —his voice is quiet as he knows being loud NOW, of all times, is going to hurt and shock someone whos already being emotional. SOMETHING HE CAN RELATE…though tears always bled dry when he was tearful. 

       —AND HE LEANS DOWN, platonic touch easier to resonate to others (at least according to his logic), softly pressing his hands against her hair, even if she’s looking to the side. 

     “ —sides…

          I  wasn’t  kiddin’.  you’re  not  alone.  don’t  need  t’know  why  you’re  crying.  just  wanted  to  tell  ya  you’re  not  alone.  ”

             wide ( though still puffy ) brown eyes turned to him once she felt the touch. at first, it was a start, but she leaned into his hand, body soon relaxing. she had no idea he could be so.... soft.

       ❛       y-you... really mean that, huh ?     ❜ a bit of a flush came to her face, though barely noticable. uraraka was trying, straining almost, to refrain from bursting into tears at his kindness. it meant so much to hear that from him.

      carefully, hesitantly, she leaned over and wrapped an arm around his torso, her cheek pressed to his chest, testing the waters first. if it was reciprocated, she’d wrap both arms snugly around him. she spoke, her voice a whisper.
