The Never-Ending Wave, Brazil
The Pororoca is a surfable tidal wave that travels as far as 500 miles up the Amazon River and at times can reach 12 feet high. The longest wave in the world forms only twice a year from February to March, when the tides of the Atlantic Ocean meet the mouth of the Amazon. A Brazilian surfer set the record when he rode the wave for 37 minutes, travelling nearly 8 miles.

Saturn’s Moon Titan
Titan is the largest moon of Saturn. It has an atmosphere composed primary of Nitrogen with traces of other hyrdrocarbons. The pressure at the surface is 60% greater than the pressure you are feeling right now. Perhaps what’s most unique about Titan are its lakes. These lakes aren’t made of water, rather they are lakes of liquid methane and ethane (see the illustrations above). These are the first liquid lakes seen anywhere in the Solar System besides Earth’s. The largest of these lakes is larger than the Great Lakes on Earth.

Thor’s Well, Oregon
Along Cape Perpetua lies Thor’s Well, a saltwater fountain driven by the power of the ocean tide. The best time to see it in action is an hour before high tide to an hour after high tide. While it’s a beautiful sight, it’s also highly dangerous and visitors should proceed with caution.

Freezing Ocean Waves In Nantucket Are Rolling In As Slush
It’s so cold that the sea on the coast of Nantucket, an island on the eastern coast of the U.S., has turned into slush! Jonathan Nimerfroh, a photographer and surfer who’s “obsessed” with the ocean, snapped these beautiful shots of slushy waves rolling in to the near-frozen beach.
According to Nimerfroh, the high temperature that day had been only 19F, or -7C. It was cold enough for ice to form near the shore, but not cold enough to form solid pieces of ice, which is why the waves had to travel through a layer of slush to reach the shore. (Source)

Mount Roraima, South America: This tabletop mountain is one of the oldest mountains on Earth, dating back two billion years when the land was lifted high above the ground by tectonic activity. The sides of the mountain are sheer vertical cliffs, with several waterfalls, making it nearly impossible to climb.

Pumpkaboo and Gourgeist! I’m amased that I never thought about a pumpkim ghost pokemon before.
I… don’t really know anything about them except that they look cool.
I’ll tag this as ” xy spoilers” since I’m under the impression that people don’t like to see pokemon XY evolutions.
